I found the car I wanted over the internet and Justin Brooks responded to my email about it. He was very helpful in taking care of everything before we arrived from Virginia and was great at answering any questions or concerns that I had. I love my car and the excellent customer service I received at Adams Chevrolet.

This car dealership was doing giveaways, and my mother was notified that she had received a free tv, she read all the fine print and it said there was no strings attached to this free tv when she later went to the dealership to receive her tv that they said she had won, they told her she had to buy a car to receive this no strings attached free tv!! This company is just running scams to try and trick people into buying cars from them!! I really do not appreciate them trying to trick my elderly mother into buying a car!
Was not till my 5th visit that i actually saw someone do a multi-point inspection on my car and received a copy with the invoice at the end of the visit. Last review i simply said "you suck" cause all the issues that had arisen to that point could have been avoided if the multi-point inspection had actually been done the previous four visits and i would not be shopping for new tires. I had left negative reviews before but was the first time it was mentioned by Service Adviser. Interesting reply from Service Adviser to "you suck" was "you know you can take your car elsewhere" instead of inquiring as to why i posted "you suck". Perhaps my reply email to Mr Monty Wells from a previous visit as to why Adams sucks actually was read and made it into the computer system for the advisers to read. Thanks for returning the hose clamps i purchased and installed (NOT) to slow down the coolant leak since the factory clamp was not doing diddly squat. ------UPDATE----Came back for an oil change on Feb 2016 and was told by adviser i was no longer welcome there. He spoke to Joe cause they were having a computer issue and could not log me in. Joe told him to tell me to go down the street to JP Chevy. I did and everything was good. Neither myself or any family members will every use Adam's Jeep or Chevy every again.
NEVER GO HERE! My husband and I negotiated a price for a GMC Acadia over the phone and were told to come up. The dealer even called 3 times the morning of us coming out to make sure we were still interested and the deal was still on. We brought a cashier's check in the exact amount agreed upon even. After driving an hour and a half to their Havre de Grace location, we were told they "accidentally" moved it their Fallston location which would have saved us 30 minutes. Once we got there, we test drove the car and decided we wanted it. That is when they tried to increase the price by $4,000 and stated that the inflated price was the new price they were going to sell it at. After explaining the deal we made and reminding them of their promises, we ended up taking our cash and leaving. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They should be ashamed that they LIE to their potential customers that way.
Zach was very nice and polite. I do feel as if they weren t as thorough as they should have been with looking over my vehicle, even when I specified that I was having to pump air into my tire every couple days. They called me and told me that it was fine and there wasn t anything wrong with it. However, I knew that wasn t the case. He had them take a second look at it, and then they discovered the leak. So, apart from that, service was excellent and would Come back.
Added torsion bar keys, new tires and rims and an alignment. The jobs was completed the same day. Called with a minor issue 3 days later which was taken care of the same day with no charge. Staff was knowledgeable fast and courteous. Overall great experience.
The service desk in the Service area are always friendly, and will go out of their way to make sure ur satisfied. If they don't know what the problem is, they will make sure they find out. I won't by my vehicles anywhere else. The bad thing is I didn't buy my car from Adams. I mistakenly bought my Car at Dover De which was a horrible mistake. Adams took me under their wing, and took care of all my cars needs , even tho I didn't purchase it from them. Zach, Jerry, and Kenny are the Best u can get, Don't go anywhere else!! Tell them Darlene sent you!!!
I think the service man name was Keith. He was very friendly. Answered all my questions and concerns. The 6000 service was finished in a quick time. I am very pleased with the service and the work that was done to my truck. I will highty recommend you guys. When I need service or repairs. I will be bringing my truck to Adams Chevrolet Inc. Thank you so much
I have checked the prices for new vehicles at Adams and purchased from other dealers because I got a better deal. Got a "sell-off of the century" flyer today. Instructions said to pull off the tabs to see if you won. Removing the tabs it looks like I won a 55 inch TV. But wait. To good to be true. Yes, the print says you have won one of these prizes and lists 5 prizes. Four of the five prizes has an odds value of 1 chance in 50,000 and 1 prize ($100 gift certificate) has an odds value of 49,996 chances in 50,000. Guess what you will win. When a dealership stoops to this kind of tactic to try and get you into their showroom how do you think you will be treated if you buy a vehicle from them? Run, don't walk away from this dealership.
Very bad customer service. Was trying to get my vehicle checked, but took them two weeks just to respond to schedule appointment then they only offered an appointment if i leave the vehicle a day in advance and 2 more weeks in the future. Horrible place to do business with reminds me of trying to get an appointment at the VA hospital. Avoid like the plague. This will be the last Chevy I probably ever own.
**Addition** After reading numerous other reviews seems they have similar issues with a lot of their customers and almost all their positive reviews are fake. Avoid this place.
The week before Christmas 2014, my wife's 2007 Ford Freestyle needed to be replaced with some engine failure. I made my way to Adams Chevrolet and met Tom Penn. He was an answer to my wife's and my prayers. He went above and beyond was able to place us in a NEW 2015 Chevy Traverse.
Not even 2 months later, my 2005 Ford Mustang also had engine failure. My wife and I went back to Adams Chevrolet looking for Tom. He was helping another couple, so I met with Nick Perez. Again, I couldn't praise Nick enough. As like Tom, nick went above and beyond and placed me with a 2013 Chevy Cruz.
They both listened to my needs as a consumer and worked within their limits and placed my family with the right vehicles within my budget.
THANK YOU NICK AND TOM!! Let's not forget the other support staff there as well!!! Such a GREAT TEAM!!!!
I also received similar advertisement as mentioned in previous posts! Glad to hear it's just this dealership, because otherwise it seems like I have a stalker named J. Very creepy, unproffesional, and bordering on seeing your name spelled out in cut-out magazine letters. Just receiving this mailing makes me never wanting to go to this dealership.
Fast service and always the best work on my 1500 LT. I have purchased three cars and two Chevy trucks from Adams Chevrolet. Always the best deals on each.
We brought our Chevrolet Volt in for routine service. The staff was professional and the length of time for service was less than expected. We come to Adams because they are one of the few dealerships that know how to service the Volt. But even though we feel we don't have many other service options, the work provided at Adams has been very good.
It was a very good experience. It could have been even better had the service advisor been a little more intuned to the promise of 45 minutes to an hour...when it got to well beyond and hour and a half. Otherwise, it was good.
We stopped in just to look around and everyone including the owner, Mr Adams, spoke to us in a very friendly and welcoming manner. They knew we were just looking but didn't act like it was any trouble chatting and showing us trucks and options. We left and shopped other brands and dealers and actually found the color and some of the options at another dealership. Adams called and invited us in to see what they could do and found the perfect truck with the options we wanted and gave us an excellent deal all the way around. Again, Mr Adams spoke to us and all the managers were very helpful. Justin went above and beyond to make this happen. I would highly recommend taking the time to come in and ask for Justin and Chris and let them see what they can do for you.
I appreciate how welcomed I feel by the service staff, how helpful they always are and trying to answer questions I may have. This visit was on a very rainy day and when my car was done Zack actually walked me to the car with a umbrella so I wouldn't get wet. I didn't expect that but I really appreciated it. So thank you.
I needed my car serviced today and was able to get a same day appointment. Zach in the service department took great care of me. He was kind, courteous and offered exceptional customer service. This was my first time using Adams Chevrolet however it will not be my last. Thank you Zach!
My wife and I bought two vehicles from Adams Chevrolet, and routinely visit the service department for most of our car maintenance needs. During each visit, we are greeted with exceptional customer service care. The personnel are always professional, courteous and honest regarding all car care needs. I highly recommend this dealership.
Wonderful experience at Adams Chevrolet the three people that worked with me here were Tom Penn salesman, Monty Wells General manager, and Herb Eller Financial department were outstanding in all services. Thank you all for all you do.
These guys are the typical, manipulative, money-over-integrity types of car salesman. Be ready to be the victim of every trick in the book. The deal we ended up getting was fair, but only after threatening to leave them with their car and its partially completed paperwork, and a potential legal battle. Their excuse was that they were negotiating in good faith. The only truth to that was good faith to taking advantage of a first-time car buyer to the tune of an extra $4,400 on a $17,500 deal. Buyer beware.
I purchased a 2013 Cadillac ATS from Adams Chevrolet and Tim Hoskins was my salesman. I'm middle-aged and have purchased many cars and trucks from many dealers through the years. Tim is hands-down the best salesman that I've ever worked with. This fellow went out of his way to ensure that every aspect of the sale was pleasant, prompt and complete. He distinguished himself with integrity, honesty, enthusiasm, and courtesy, all without any pressure to buy whatsoever. I only wish that he worked for me in my business as folks like that are very hard to find. Well done Tim! -Doug
Very friendly our salesman the guy nick did an amazing job at getting us in a vehicle that we liked and worked very hard to figure everything out for us ive never had anyone give us service in the ways he did he deserves a raise
There service department is the reason why you come back and buy another used or new car so the salemen should take you out for lunch , thank you for great service and friendship
Read the fine print on your "sell off of the century" flyer... there are NO winners... open the flyer and read the bottom.. this is their way to get you to come in so they can try to pressure you in to buying a car.
It was my first service appt at Adam's. My oil change and tire rotation was done faster and lower priced then Aberdeen Chevrolet where I bought my vehicle and had been getting service. I was referred to Adam's by long time customer Lyle DeShaw. Definitely will be back again. Great experience.
Adams Chevy continues to provide the best personalized service of any dealership I have ever used. The staff are veteran employees who have been with Adams for many years and will provide great, reasonable and honest service.
They had an "event" going on offering "prizes". Onky prize they were handing out is a $100 card that you can only use to buy coupons and the coupon app you have to use it on has a terrible rating because the coupons arent even accepted most places. Wasted over an hour at the dealership.
Everyone is always friendly and willing to help. I had an appointment after the car appointment and the workmen were able to take of my car and get me out on time.
AWESOME Guys there! Each visit is great, no problems. They were very accommodating with picking up my car and bringing it back to me while I was at work. They also don't tell you your vehicle needs work that it really doesn't need, and they do tell you if something that will need attention soon can go for a bit longer! Super super nice! Thank you!
Wouldn't honor a coupon for conventional oil change. Stated that the truck required synthetic but they would give a slight discount. Coupon stated that synthetic would cost "slightly more" the difference in the cost of implied "slightly more" and the "slight discount" is significantly different. I paid double the price of the coupon. I typically do my own service to avoid such atrocities. Thanks for the reminder as to why I do. Additionally I had the tires balanced as there was a horrible vibration at highway speeds since taking delivery. After service it was "Slightly better".
The customer service is excellent! They fixed our vehicle and were wonderful to work with! Our car broke down on our drive to NY and they went out of their way to help us get back on the road quickly! First we went to JPs chevy and they were terrible and rude, so it was a breath of fresh air to work with the guys at Adams. If we didn't live two hours away, this would be our go to place.
The sales staff is super friendly and accommodating. If you re buying a new vehicle, I say 5 stars, absolutely wonderful experience. However, if you re looking at pre owned vehicles, you ultimately have to deal with used inventory manager, Rich Myers. He s not a very pleasant person. I don t believe he treats the staff very well and it was obvious he was complaining about us as clients. He quoted us a price and we came back less than 24 hours later and it had gone up by $1000. I guess it s all part of the game, but we found it very off putting, unethical and opportunistic. All the things people dislike about used car dealers. Brandon Christian was our sales associate and he was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest, he s everything you want in a salesman. I will say one good thing about the used car manager, at least they keep him in a trailer as far away from customers as possible.
Searched for several weeks for a car for my daughter. Went to several small dealerships and contacted many larger ones via the web By far the best I dealt with. Jesse the internet manager was reasonable and responsive. Tim had the vehicle ready for a test drive. The sales manager didn't try to force any aftermarket nonsense on me and the car was exactly as advertised. Professional all the way around. I'll definitely contact them again when I'm ready for a new truck.
Excellent experience. Traded for 2017 Silverado. High trade in allowance. Low discounted price. Rapid transaction. Especially appreciate the honesty and integrity of the dealership. Monty Wells was a pleasure. Can't say enough good things about Ron and Todd Adams. Jerry Silverman was great in getting my accessories and Joe Farmer did an outstanding job installing them. Adams rocks!
I have to give a big thank you to Todd. He had the patience to keep answering my questions and update quotes till he found exactly what we were looking for
I was looking to buy my first car, and happened to stop by Adams Chevrolet on Saturday morning. Justin happened to have the perfect car at the perfect price, and took great care of the car and me. He even kept the car over the weekend, just to have some small door dings and paint chips repaired on Monday, so the car would be perfect when I drove it off the lot!!! I would highly recommend Justin Grzybowski to anyone that I know who is in the market for a new or used car.
I came in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I had an issue with the dashboard tire pressure gauge. My left rear tire had zero air, then it had 14 to 22. Tech's determined it was a faulty sensor, so they changed it out. I was going to let it slide but my wife said she would not ride in the car if it had a bad tire pressure sensor, So there ya have it. All done at a reasonable price and with only a short wait.
I don't recommend this place for personal reasons because I had trouble with one of the servicemen that work there. He flirted with me and wanted to go out with me and wouldn't leave me alone so I stopped going there. But as per usual I'm still inundated with getting junk mail from this dealership as with all dealerships they all do it. It's still annoying though
These guys may have the best Chevrolet service department in the state. After calling the 5 major dealers in the Baltimore area, Adam's was the only place that took my truck in to do warrnety work on the frame which the others refused to do. Also called them today and they gave me some information where as another shop just said idk call a body shop. Thank you guys.
Amazing doesn t even cover the level of customer service. We moved to Maryland and did all our state inspections here, and for you Marylanders you know how tough that process is to go through. The service reps go above and beyond to make life easy on you to bring it back after repairs and/or give you a very competitive price on doing the repairs themselves. I can t say enough good things about these guys, and while we haven t bought a car from this dealership yet, we have interacted with the sales team, and they are just as great. We will be doing all our service here and hopefully buy our next car here. As a general rule, I hate dealing with car dealerships, but this has always been an incredible experience. Call it the Chick-fil-A of car dealerships
I also got this letter from "J" with no return address and no other info but a sticky note saying "check this out. from J" I thought it was my neighbor hinting to get rid of some of my older cars, which I love, for a newer one. I was totally creeped out by this. However, this letter is why I started working on my 70 Chevelle, which is now ready for paint just to show my neighbor how good a old car could look once done. so for the longest time I suspected a bad neighbor of mine! It was very disturbing to just find out that this was a legitimate sales flyer. I saved the letter and still have it I was so disturbed when i got it just in case I had a creepy stalker/neighbor just so i had evidence for the police.
Purchased a new truck the other day and Adam's Chevrolet made it a great experience. Visited multiple dealers, some with poor reception and sales skills. Some just bad. Adam's was kind friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Brian and Kathleen you made my new truck purchase a great one. I will recommend friends and family in the future and anyone else looking for a vehicle.
