Takes care of all local union talent well. I'd give 5 but I've not been associated long enough. Always available to assist, very professional. Superb coffee. And coffee machines.
The basics of what is needed in the industry. Without ACTRA one could only imagine how things would have been. Very thankful our clients are part of such a powerful and needed union.
All staf is genarous and helpful and services are good too but veg meal options are limited, and heaven on earth for Non vegetarian person
Actra seriously need to remove Kristin Scythes of Hollywood North off their list. She charges her clients a high fee to join her agency which is something no legitimate agency would do. Someone needs to do something about this and to prevent that sort of thing from happening again. She also needs to be punish for her actions.

Staff in the office are always very helpful. I'm mostly here to pick up cheques or drop off documents but always a pleasure!

They're customer service was very rude and unhelpful. I was sure I had put my memership on withdrawal before leaving to work in LA and was shocked to find out 2 years later that I owed 650$ in past dues. No phone call, no emails, just a letter to my old canadian address. I contacted the union and nobody cared. Now back to do a project in Toronto. I don't really have a choice but to be part of this union. They demand a lot of money and I don't see the benefits of being a member. Sorry, but I must give a poor review.
They are a fantastic organization. I Always receive friendly & quick response when I have an issue or a concern. I. I'm a proud member of Actra.
This is the office for the main Union for actors. It's not really the kind of place that is open to the public but if you have questions about what it means to be in the union for actors and being a working actress it's an interesting place to drop into. But it is predominately for industry professionals.
