There really aren't any bad seats, cheaper than Broadway tickets, yet still superb performances.

Took my grand daughter to see A Christmas Carol for her first time, I love this place, she had an amazing time!!
Oh my goodness. Couldn't imagine a better place. Definitely recommend.
As much as I have enjoyed the plays at this Theatre and supported them through the years with donations, they have finally priced their tickets to high that we can no longer attend. :(
I find it neat to attend a show and to think that our ancestors were doing the same thing 2,000 years ago. Did they sit there and mumble to the person next to the "what did the actor just say?" As I do because they were speaking so fast?
Beautiful layout and wonderful associates as well
Saw A Christmas Carol. Balcony seats.but still a good view. Very nice setting.
It had been awhile since I saw a play at Actors Theater, though once I entered the main lobby it had that welcoming sense to it. Though I didn't know anything about what I was I was going to see, someone asked if I wanted to go with some other people in a group, I knew whatever it was, surely it wouldn't be a let down. After viewing some of the art that was on display in the upstairs section, appreciating the overall aspects of the detail that remained to still show is beauty, I made my way to the theatre the play with going to take place in. Once seated, the actual play itself was meaningful, acted out with a fine detail of subtle wording and a definitive detail that had a great meaning to it. It's a place I would recommend any to look intonation whenever you decide to come to Louisville.
Dracula is a yearly tradition and always a great time!
Actors Theatre of Louisville is a non-profit performing arts theater located in downtown Louisville, Kentucky and home of the Humana Festival of New American Plays. The interior is a hidden gem of land marks in Downtown Louisville featuring one of a kind classic architecture, a gallery and a marriage of modern and historic theater experiences. Find the awesome Milkwood restaurant in the attached basement and several bar stations on all floors. They offer a steep discount on local season passes and the Humana festival is a nationally recognized platform for cutting edge theater that has introduced over 450 new plays to the international theater world including several pulitzer prize winners.
Wonderful. Pipeline was the best play I've seen in a while. Actors is a marvelous theratre.
Saw a christmas Carol last year. It was pretty good.
We LOVE our annual date night with Dracula. Always something new and different from previous years.
What a theater for a small play I love the setup and view no matter where you are seating its a great view and with such a friendly staff is a plus as well there also is a restaurant and cocktail venue connected for an afterwards celebration to end the night with love the experience
Saw The Santaland Diaries and loved the show but was very disappointed when a woman got up and walked out - and she was allowed to return! This after all the many warnings that if you got up, you could not come back in. Stick to your policies, ATL!
The young professional discounts make live theater really affordable.
School group performance of A Christmas Carol. Excellent organization from bus drop off to seating to pick up. Thank you Actor's!
We just returned from attending the 1st performance of 2019s Christmas Carol! This year s cast and production(Director & Adaptor) is warm, moving and exhilaratingly touching!! I ve been less enthusiastic since Ray Fry, but THIS inclusive, racially and heritage BLIND production moves the soul. Tears ran freely - lovingly! Why does the magic of A Christmas Carol endure? GREAT DIRECTORS, GREAT ADAPTATIONS and MAGICAL CASTS!!
Been going since I was a little kid in the 90's. I saw so many great plays here. It is a great experience for kids so parents make sure you get a year pass if they still have those and give your kids some memories they will cherish forever.
We went to see Dracula. Awesome experience. Great production. Great show.
My sister & I went to see A Christmas Carol. The production was excellent. Jon Huffman was incredible.
Attended famous "Humana Festival of New American Plays". Awesome place with three different theaters in heart of downtown. Once you park, you can walk to sightsee downtown (great Ohio River view at Belvedere Park near Arts Center), a variety of dining options, coffee shops and bars. Loved it!
Do not miss Festival of New American Plays. Great theatre in a wonderful town. Downstairs restaurant is also good
Great, professional actors. The facilities should really be upgraded for patrons (smelly, dirty restrooms, feeble concessions stand/coat check, no sign for the stairs for the parking garage, and lots of other things add up to inadequacy). Ticket prices are very high, and we expect more. Until that happens, we probably won't be back.
Actors is such a nice venue! The theater itself is very nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the performance was excellent. We will definitely be returning!
Recently attended an arm wrestling show here that was really amazing.
Nice theatre with thought provoking plays. Yearly new plays, Dracula in October. 3 different theatres in one building in downtown Louisville. World famous. You should go.
My second time seeing Dracula and it was spectacular!!!
I am a season ticket holder and always look forward to going. Everyone I have worked with has been very friendly and helpful.
An amazing production. Enjoy it so much. Look forward to going again. Keep up the great work
Excellent and consistent quality seafood as well as a clean comfortable seating area. Counter service is friendly and prompt.
We love Actors Theatre, the whole experience was wonderful!!! Great staff and the ushers were helpful and friendly. Phenomenal actors and great plays. It's an intimate and cozy atmosphere, you are transported to the time and place right along with the actors. We can't wait to go back. When you visit Kentucky, Actors Theatre is a MUST!!! You will have a Great time!!!!!!
Always enjoy seeing shows here. Love the venue, and the quality of production is always top notch.
If you've never been here...go. Highly talented actors and professional productions. Great venue.
Adequate, but one of my least favorite garages in the city. The sharply curved entry/exit ramp is extremely narrow and sharply curved.
Thoroughly enjoyed Skeleton Crew. Superb cast and choreography. Bingham Theatre was ideal setting.
My husband and I love this theatre and have season tickets, they have a great discount for teachers. Our favorite show so far has been Skeleton Crew.
Great, intimate performance theater, Bingham is my favorite (Black box)although there are two others. Mezzanine always has spectacular art from local artist displayed and 4-sale! Don't miss an opportunity to see a wonderful play at a reasonable price, many many good restaurants in walking distance! Bravo Actors Theatre
Workers are very sweet and caring of there customers. Actors are very highly trained and great at there job
A Christmas Carol is a holiday must. Wouldn't start the Christmas season any other way.
Just superb! Everything I've ever attended was great frankly.
Anybody who knows me can tell you, I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone there is welcoming and knowledgable of Actors Theatre and the performances are an experience with each show enlightening you one way or another. Get a season pass with the parking because it's well worth it. Keep up the good work y'all!
I've always felt so happy about the high quality of the theaters around here.
Irving Berlin was fantastic (Hershey). Thanks for the evening, my Mom was totally moved and enjoyed her memories about the songs.
We came for a lights demonstration and for the boys to check it out (THANK you Caltural pass) all the staff was very kind and super helpful. The kids loved it and we cant go back to see a show.
The facilities here are great and the staff is always helpful. I can't think of a negative experience that I have had. The bar upstairs seems to be understaffed at times but that isn't anything that can't be solved by arriving a few minutes earlier.
I went and saw Dracula. It was freaking awesome. There isn't a bad seat in the theater. I wish I lived closer so I could go see it again.
Actors Theatre is always fun. They work hard for the money. So hard for the money. But they're a theater, so they probably don't actually have all that much money. Which is why you should go there and see a play or two! You get to be entertained AND you help support the arts.
We just finished our three day event and loved working with their stuffs. They were always on time and was very prompt. It was very friendly experience and I would recommend this theater for any big event. Thanks.
Incredible. Saw Dracula and was amazed. Mind blowing what happens right before your eyes. Will try to attend every year.
Surprisingly and ornate, especially after the understated exterior, this multistage theatre is well worth visiting.
Humana Festival 2018 was absolutely amazing. The shows were inspiring and the venue was intimate. They had enough space to have a very technical show without losing the intimacy of a small venue.
'A Christmas Carol' was a refreshing delight! Great time for all ages!!
Fun and cozy theater. Great for a family night out!
Nice aesthetics, interesting shows, they sell overpriced flat pop drinks, and multiple employees need attitude adjustments as well as ones who don't bother washing their hands despite just being seen using the restroom... take that how ever you will. But just no. EW!! Never had the food there but wouldn't tempt it after witnessing staff do what they do.
Loved seeing Everybody Black, excellent performance!
Performance was fantastic. Actors were top notch as was set design and lighting.
Actors Theatre is the premier theater experience in Louisville for various reasons yet none resonate louder than the quality of the productions from the choices to the actors they hire! They have three uniquely different theaters as well.
This was exceptional theatre. Pipeline was thought provoking, relevant, and inspiring.
Staff was nice and friendly; The show, Little Bunny Foo Foo, was so cute! Definitely, a must see for little people!
Great preformance! Staff was very friendly.
Love dracula! very strong cast!!
Love the old architecture of the bank they saved. Very high quality productions.
The Thin Place is amazing!!! We've come to believe is ok.
The arts in Louisville are really treasured and it is apparent here. All their productions are special and unique.
Our family has enjoyed Actors' Theatre since it began. Last night's play (we, the invisibles) was one of the best I've ever seen. Powerful. Had invited a couple of my son's friends since he (US Marine) is still outside the U.S. They were impressed by all they saw & eager to see more. Thanks to all who work & volunteer to make Actors' available!
