Great place for plays. Also the old Bank of Louisville is next door.
Great place for plays. Also the old Bank of Louisville is next door.
Saw Dracula with a friend - first time! Amazing acting, and the venue is amazing. Intimate, but lots of room. Great experience!
Board member for many years, moderating Community Conversation each year. Nation's finest regional theater!
We went and saw Dracula in September 2017. It was really amazing. We loved the show. Can't wait to see it again next year. Location of the theater is great, as is the parking garage. You can buy your parking pass in advance for a discount at Actors Theater's website. Plenty of good food just a short walk away. Eventually I think we will get one of the season passes.
I've seen two plays that have been absolutely amazing!
Excellent productions. If you are under 35, they have an amazing deal on a season of tickets.
Great theatrical productions such as Dracula and the Christmas Story. I would highly recommend coming for any play.
This place is a treat! I ABSOLUTELY recommend the annual performance of Dracula. This is one of those places that makes me proud to call Louisville home.
Nice place to see premier shows, but lately hmmm .....well the singers need to sing, actors need to act players need to ...
One of the most beautiful places i have visited in Louisville. Support your local arts!
A wonderful wonderful theater the it's enjoyable it's great it's just magic
Wonderful play, Dracula. Visual effects very good. Good seats.
I went to see everybody black it was good the theater was nice the actors were great
ATL is very accessible for wheelchairs. There is handicapped parking in their garage which is connected to the theater complex. There is wheelchair seating in all the theaters or you can transfer to a regular seat if you are able. Just tell the box office when you purchase your ticket.
They act like the character they are supposed to be and the staff is kind
Christmas Carol was really great. Very nice venue without a bad seat.
Seating comfortable. Actors clearly knew their parts and were multitalented. Effects were cool. Dining before hand was CV convenient.
I am handicapped and found the Bingham very difficult to command the steps. performance was good but I have seen far better productions
I'm a season ticket holder because Actors Theater does such a great job of providing a variety of quality productions year after year! Three theaters in house: a standard theater, a theater in the round and a small intimate theatre.
Wonderful space, great community connections, and great, theater.I especially enjoyed The Corpse Washer at the Humana festival.
I attended the first sensory friendly experience and it was amazing! It's great to see places offering experiences like this. My son had a blast! Thank you Actor's Theatre!
A Louisville tradition! Holiday plays, Humana festival, regular season, Actors has it!
The Humana Festival of Plays is a wonderful way to support new playwrights. Some of the plays lack polish, but we have seen some excellent ones too.
We had a great time
Acoustic s and view excellent. Nove dining too? Down stairs.
The building holds three separate theaters so you can see a variety of types of shows. The Humana festival is always a delight and the seasonal plays are lovely too, but the playa the rest of the year are always my favorites so make sure to try something new and you will not regret it.
Always prompt. Never had an issue with customer service.
The actors were fantastic I went to see the play Dracula and the effects were so school it was spooky and thrilling there actors are brilliant
The architecture encourages social interaction before entry into the theater. The seating inside is easy to navigate. Don't forget about the restaurant attached to the building when planning your evening!
GREAT local theatre
This is a great local theatre! We attended "A Christmas Carol," which is in it's 40th year here. The space is fantastic...there's not a bad seat in the house and you feel like you're right in the midst of it. They did an excellent job, and we'll be looking for more plays there in the future.
I went to actors theater to see A Christmas Carol it was wonderful! A truly awesome performance and a very enjoyable evening out!
Excellent venue and amazing shows. Highly recommend everyone in town gets there at least a few times a year. This is a world-renowned theatre!
It was a wonderful performance and terrific use of space. The actors are outstanding.
A great place with a rich history. Love that they're bringing in new plays.
UGH, GOD. I want to work in this place. I live what they're doing and they have got some amazing talent always has a great selection of shows. Especially, the new play festival. Also, I love College Days.
Was there for a production of Pipeline, a brilliant play and stand by seating was amazing! It was my first time there, felt like a place I could get easily attached to. A great staff, I met a board member, the cast came out and mingled, the staff were accommodating, and pleasant! I think I have found the heart of Louisville!
Saw an amazing rendition of Dracula that Actors Theater put on for a few area schools. First time I've been to the theater myself since I was my students' age, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth the money for tickets, and the talent is amazing at this theater.
Variety & talent ...something special to do in LouKY. Easy parking. All good seats. Tickets range in price ...always something affordable.
Started ushering Recently, Enjoying sights and shows
Great performance of Dracula. Solid actors, effects, and stage.
I've had too many great experiences there to write about here. Just go. You won't regret it.
Too dark and no banister almost fell down the steps
This place offers a very different theatre experience.
Actors Theatre of Louisville put on and amazing performance of "A Christmas Carol" this year. I also saw Dracula there in October. It was phenomenal! Great venue!
Great plays, actors and atmosphere.
You can choose from 2 or 3 plays a night.
If you are conservative you might want to ask more questions about the specific content of their plays otherwise I would have no complaints.
Awesome cast and performance, not to mention the immersive stage set up.
I wish that they would sell treats right outside because you do get hungry.
Ring of fire was a incredible experience! The music was moving and soul touching. The performers are so very talented!
I've been to Actors many times, mostly for the annual Dracula production at Halloween time. That one is a lot of fun! It tales place in their theater in the round, which places the audience into the action.
Their "traditional" theater is a nice space as well, with it's smaller size compared to Whitney Hall making for a more intimate experience and better audio/visual for people in the back rows. Even the farthest of the back rows feels very close to the stage, which is great.
I haven't eaten at the restaurant downstairs, Milkwood, but they have a nice bar upstairs and an art gallery in the foyer. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Great Christmas Carol performance. Small intimate venue.
I believe everyone should see a play there at least once in their life! I went to see Dracula. The theatre is nice and intimate, so any seat is a great seat. The acting was fantastic! I was so hooked in the play. You can definitely tell the actors take pride in their livelihood.
There was a parking lot that you have to pay for. There is also an intermission, so you can buy grown up drinks.
I will definitely be going back.
Saw A Christmas Carol on November 25th in the Pamela Brown Auditorium. The seats were phenomenal and the overall performance was stellar -- it had been many years since I'd seen A Christmas Carol and this new, updated version was visually stunning and compelling. Actors Theater is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience a Louisville tradition alongside passionate and talented actors, and a first-rate support staff!
We went and saw skeleton crew and it was fantastic!
Got to see Dracula on Halloween here and it didn't disapoint! It's amazing what they can do in the space they have. Nothing short of amazing!
Been to a ton of shows here and never been disappointed. If you see an offering that piques your interest, be confident they'll pull it off and will find ways to surprise you.
Always quality productions. Still surprised more people don't take advantage of season tickets. Pretty reasonable.
Me and my family go her once a year to see the Christmas carol the weekend after Thanksgiving is is always great
Had an amazing time seeing A Christmas Carol! Small and intimate theater with wonderful actors!
