We went and saw Dracula in September 2017. It was really amazing. We loved the show. Can't wait to see it again next year. Location of the theater is great, as is the parking garage. You can buy your parking pass in advance for a discount at Actors Theater's website. Plenty of good food just a short walk away. Eventually I think we will get one of the season passes.

ATL is very accessible for wheelchairs. There is handicapped parking in their garage which is connected to the theater complex. There is wheelchair seating in all the theaters or you can transfer to a regular seat if you are able. Just tell the box office when you purchase your ticket.

I'm a season ticket holder because Actors Theater does such a great job of providing a variety of quality productions year after year! Three theaters in house: a standard theater, a theater in the round and a small intimate theatre.

The building holds three separate theaters so you can see a variety of types of shows. The Humana festival is always a delight and the seasonal plays are lovely too, but the playa the rest of the year are always my favorites so make sure to try something new and you will not regret it.

The architecture encourages social interaction before entry into the theater. The seating inside is easy to navigate. Don't forget about the restaurant attached to the building when planning your evening!

GREAT local theatre

GREAT local theatre
This is a great local theatre! We attended "A Christmas Carol," which is in it's 40th year here. The space is fantastic...there's not a bad seat in the house and you feel like you're right in the midst of it. They did an excellent job, and we'll be looking for more plays there in the future.

Was there for a production of Pipeline, a brilliant play and stand by seating was amazing! It was my first time there, felt like a place I could get easily attached to. A great staff, I met a board member, the cast came out and mingled, the staff were accommodating, and pleasant! I think I have found the heart of Louisville!

Saw an amazing rendition of Dracula that Actors Theater put on for a few area schools. First time I've been to the theater myself since I was my students' age, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth the money for tickets, and the talent is amazing at this theater.

I've been to Actors many times, mostly for the annual Dracula production at Halloween time. That one is a lot of fun! It tales place in their theater in the round, which places the audience into the action.

Their "traditional" theater is a nice space as well, with it's smaller size compared to Whitney Hall making for a more intimate experience and better audio/visual for people in the back rows. Even the farthest of the back rows feels very close to the stage, which is great.

I haven't eaten at the restaurant downstairs, Milkwood, but they have a nice bar upstairs and an art gallery in the foyer. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

I believe everyone should see a play there at least once in their life! I went to see Dracula. The theatre is nice and intimate, so any seat is a great seat. The acting was fantastic! I was so hooked in the play. You can definitely tell the actors take pride in their livelihood.
There was a parking lot that you have to pay for. There is also an intermission, so you can buy grown up drinks.
I will definitely be going back.

Saw A Christmas Carol on November 25th in the Pamela Brown Auditorium. The seats were phenomenal and the overall performance was stellar -- it had been many years since I'd seen A Christmas Carol and this new, updated version was visually stunning and compelling. Actors Theater is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience a Louisville tradition alongside passionate and talented actors, and a first-rate support staff!
