A magnificent town of Palermo impersuasita from a garden and a view to say the least exceptional. I will definitely be back soon.

Many of my clients have said that this is the migior hotels in Palermo

Really nice hotel located on the far side of the bay in Palermo with outstanding views across the sea and city.
There is not much around the hotel itself so you will need to get a taxi into Palermo or to the Beach.
Service from the staff is outstanding although pricing for drinks is a bit steep, but the history and quality of the Hotel reminds me of Colonial years gone by.
Needs a bit of expenditure now as some areas are tatty and look worn, bedroom we had was again a bit tired but the sea view was amazing. Atmosphere was quiet and exclusive and if you want to escape to your inner self in a very safe environment then this is the place for you.
I would come back here again but would like to see some upgrades to a few areas that are needed.

Magnificent old hotel. The shuttle services that is provided is great. No searching for taxi. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.

A true grand hotel that manages to maintain the splendor of the times when crowned heads attended it. Already upon arrival you feel welcomed with sober efficiency ... accompanied in the room with 4 meter high antique furniture. Time to change for a very pleasant promenade in the well-kept garden overlooking the sea ... waiting for an aperitif followed by a truly royal dinner .... Palermo is a city of many facets but this hotel is perhaps among the brightest

The hotel is a historic and interesting old building with art noveau styling throughout. Our room was large, had hardwood floors, and well furnished. Though opulent the hotel is showing wear around the edges and could use some rehabbing. Service was attentive, if understaffed, likely due to the fact we visited in the off season. Hotel is not walking distance to the tourist attractions in Palermo.

This is a hotel in a historic building. It faces the sea, is surrounded by a marvelous garden, the interiors can be viewed endlessly. The staff is mostly very nice and professional. I would like to highlight the receptionist Titian and Vincenzo, who works by the pool. This person is fluent in both English and French. Gives good advice on what to visit in the vicinity, it is interesting to talk with him. I am very grateful to him and his colleagues. A wonderful breakfast overlooking the garden and the sea, under the twitter of birds, with a glass of sparkling wine is such a relaxation, such a joy that I advise everyone to visit Villa.

A beautiful secular park, a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can have an aperitif in the evening, eat, or spend pleasant hours in the morning during breakfast. Attentive staff. Silence and confidentiality. Rooms a little dated ... but in the Florio Family lifestyle.

On the occasion of an event I visited this elegant structure with a sea view. One of the most historic hotels in the city. I found the hotel a little dated for my taste

We got a room for the day. They gave us the worst room. No toothbrush. AC did not work. The receptionist lady blamed us that we did not tell about it before instead of being sorry. Is that the service which 5 stars hotels provide?

Very cool place. You can feel the history. A bit off the main stay of Palermo so be sure you have a looksee on the location. Very good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel to visit. Staff is very helpful. Only thing is that the hotel is outside of the downtown core so you will need to take a shuttle bus or taxi or rent a car to get to downtown Palermo

Wonderful structure, but a little decadent .. large spaces, large rooms, beautiful staircases, but would need a big renovation job. Terrible carpet, skipped pool tiles and generally no attention to detail. very kind staff and awesome breakfast !!

Fabulous position with a shuttle bus into town, only had breakfast while more than adequate, service prompt.

Excellent position on the sea, unique in the world. The Hotel would need restoration and adjustments at least on the outside. We witnessed a rather embarrassing scene, at least for us: the receptionist on the outside, however, in uniform and very elegant, addressed the bus drivers with words and attitude not suited to his uniform and his role using swear words in Sicilian with the near tourists ..... :-(

It is a 5-star hotel that best expresses the prerogatives of these structures. The garden overlooking the sea and the marina invite you to relax in the cool of tall trees. The rooms are very large and well conditioned (only some rooms may be affected by the video noise of the air conditioning system). Varied and extensive breakfast. Excellent video cooking quality with particular appreciation for fish based first courses.

Not having had the opportunity to stay in the inter-structure, the only aspect I would like to review, with which I had to do for work reasons, is the RECEPTION PERSONNEL:
everyone was very courteous and kind. They had a lot of patience and were always extremely available.

Great hotel on the water with good amenities as well as a very good buffet breakfast. Shuttle to town is very convenient.

The worst hotel that I ve ever been!!!
Arogant personal! Very very small and dirty rooms. We paid almost 2000 for 3days and we had room smaller than my bathroom at my house.! Breakfast are nightmare! It was not 5* hotel and for sure not a luxury hotel!! Never come back!

Historic hotel in the city of Palermo, well-kept garden, abundant breakfast and impeccable service. Perhaps some rooms require immediate intervention to replace carpet, upholstery and bathroom fixtures. Due to a fashion show in the meeting room, the music was prolonged until late at night disturbing our rest.

Beautiful hotel located near the sea, with beautiful terraces. Very disappointing is the restaurant for both service and food.

The hotel once had days of splendor but those are days are long gone. The hotel needs renovations it failed to deliver the finishings of a 5-star hotel. I rented two rooms, one faced the garage and the other had mold in the bathroom. I took pictures because I was shocked and disappointed.

I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. The location was seedy, the service average, the amenities less than stellar; the ONLY redeeming quality was the food which proved to be enjoyable.

If you are a seasoned traveler, enjoy amenities and want a real 5-star service... don t stay here!!

Historic place of Palermo. A little retro and in some respects decadent. In any case, impeccable and representative service of the liberty style. I made aperitif: good and accompanied by live piano music. All pleasant.

Just beautiful. Nothing like it, the building is amazing, rooms are nice and cozy, food is great and everyone is polite. A great stop in Palermo. Better if having a car, in order not to rely on transports and shuttle to visit the city centre (wich is few kms away).

It is perhaps more the fame gained over time than what it offers today. The structure is certainly not new, but acceptable and in an enviable position.

You will not find a better hotel in Palermo. Huge palace rooms. Excellent service. Great kitchen. Delicious breakfasts. Amazing view of the marina of the magnificent yachts belonging to the hotel. Stab if only you can afford;)

Antiquated hotel in typical Italian style. Habitable rooms.
Quiet oasis in the midst of the Italian bustle. Harbor close with good views, in the center a taxi ride is advisable.

Stayed over a week on site.
Small restaurants with Italian delights are within walking distance of the hotel.
Prices are OK.
You can go there.

-beautiful garden;

The bad:
-far from downtown (but offers free shuttle car);
-small outdoor swimming pool;
-no sandy beach;
-too many logins for wi-fi;
-small tehnical problems in the bathroom;
-crowded parking lot;

Seen from the outside it is a beautiful luxury hotel. I was told that it was just as beautiful and that it was the residence of the noble Florio family.
