It is called a boutique resort hotel. Unfortunately, we were shoved into the attic which was anything but boutique, or resort. No WiFi, pay extra for secure parking and the ceiling was so low that my wife and I both bumped our heads several times. There was no where to put toiletries in the bathroom and the stairs finish right under the fridge.
lovely place to stay. parking is a bit tight though, for that they lose a star. otherwise very nice and a good price

A very nice place for dinner. Nice food. Just missed out on 5 stars because they slightly overcooked the fish and the steaks :(

Was great place spa was great but weird how they open your door every three hours in the day time to ask if you want more towels and not have towels with them was wierd but other than that great stay

We where given a voucher for 4 people.....food was delicious although not much variety .
Service was ok but was due to slow times- construction blocking streets etc - and only having limited staff on.

I had to pay for the room and a $100 deposit also but what the don't tell you until you pay it that you won't get it back for 5 to 7 working days later and they charge you $20 a night to park your car

We stayed in a spa suite, not enough hot water to fill the tub. Changed room in the middle of the night. Got enough hot water to fill the whole tub yay, but no available hot water until next morning....good friendly and helpful staffs.
It was closed,and they were auctioning off pot plants.

Well what a disappointment stayed here a few times over the years and wow nothing has being renovated or looked after all around the pool are loose pavers, rooms are shabby and outdated.
Got charged for a so called continental breakfast which consisted of watermelon, rockmelon, honeydew 3 cereals and some bread. The receptionist told me it was half price for the kids and if my maths are correct $10 is not half of $12.50, if you a international tourist please don't stay at this hotel it is bad for W.A's reputation.

Our room overlooked gardens and pool with views to the ocean. Definitely got our 30 mins on the stairs but the room was nice no issues and thanks to the lady who delivered our room service. Had a great couple chilled nights. Would visit again.
Poor room cleaning. Bathroom was always wet because of a leak from above. No breakfast, restaurant or room service. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
Excellent and friendly service , especially Tan, nothing was a problem.She organised day tours followed up as to how our day was . Our room was very clean , dinner in the restaurant was delicious, again with excellent service. Sunmoon offers great value for money.

I had a delicious & satisfying breakfast on Sunday. Service was good, ambiance great, furnishings quirky and comfortable. Coffee excellent & nice & hot to my liking.

Sleepless night and a poor noise insulation in the Spa Balcony King size room. Overpriced for this lack of quality and a 4-star hotel.
However, good staff, exotic atmosphere and relaxing SPA and comfy king size bed.

Gorgeous hotel. The rainforest feel and koi ponds were so relaxing and inviting. Spacious rooms and fluffy dressing gowns completed the luxurious feel of the resort. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
Not fussy, obviously Sunmoon is well used but still very nice.
My room was small (double) and view of back wall.
Food was ok nothing flash although efforts to price and present a flash feed. I had a steak $34 with a shared starter $15 but left still hungry.

I dont mind paying forva quality motel, but i feel ripped off here, the place is run down beyond words and needs alot of work. I am finding it hard to enjoy my night here for the price we paid. For 250.00 its not good enough!!!!
Place was ok, but on arrival they took a 'pre authorisation' on my bankcard, which actually took money from my account which then takes 3-5 days to get back. Very unhappy customer - won't use them again. Apparently happens alot to customers. Poor business practice and abuse of customers.

I bought a Scoopon or Groupon voucher to have a dinner with a glass of wine for 4 people and suddenly it was "Cancelled" before I even get a chance to use it and way before the expiring date! And worse, didn't receive any explanation and not a word of apology from Sunmoon. I felt really robbed and ripped off by this Sunmoon from hell.
Absolutely terrible value for money! Food was awful steak was fatty and full of gristle. i called up to complain and asked to speak to a manager who was not around promised to call back twice but never did. I was offered a free glass of wine with my next meal. But why would i want to spend another $60.00 on another awful meal for a measly free glass of cheap wine. DO NOT GO HERE!
Just there visiting a friend who was staying there for the weekend. Apartment looked amazing friendly staff. A little bit noisy due to being on a main road but only a short walk from Scarborough Beach.

Pretty average place to stay, lots of things wrong with the room. Their wifi was completely overpriced and it was about as fast as dial up, i guess the owners think we still live in the 90s. The buffet breakfast was gross and overpriced, would not recommend this place.
We had a 2brm apartment and found it pleasant to stay...
Average room, overpriced for what you receive. We got put in an attic. You literally open the door and have to walk up a bunch of stairs with all your luggage. The roof is sloped and low so you have to watch your head. Aircon must not have been cleaned or serviced in YEARS. Kept spitting out giant chunks of dust. As it was right over our bed this was pretty disgusting.
Our family paid an extra $100 for a pool facing balcony room which ended up being even smaller than the attic. Loud music playing all day. Pool not heated and dirty. Way too cold to actually swim. No mini fridge, even though online it claims there are minibars in every room. Wifi is an extra add on cost. Staff are friendly but it doesn't make up for lacking facilities, wouldn't recommend. Reviews for this place are terrible for a reason. It's strange to me the owner or manager doesn't take on the feedback to improve.
Good value for money by Aussie standards, decent rooms, good service. However the wifi ain t free and neither is the breakfast so that s where the cost can rise.
First appearances of the hotel, staff and room we were impressed. However, within a short time we discovered mould riddled bathroom, yellow stains on white towels linen and the bedhead. Food was very poor and a waste of money. Its the only pizza I have not wanted to finish and chips were hard on the inside.
Would not return !!!!

Great hotel, we had a balcony overlooking gardens which was great, better to have a back room as the front rooms are right on the road. Well kept neat place, small pool no shade, restaurant average. Short walk to the beach
Beautiful little resort close to the water front. The buffet breakfast is average but good enough to give you fuel for the day. The location is about 30-40 mins from the airport and I easily found my way around by catching the bus to the local shopping center.
The service and presentation of food was very good. It's a nice small restaurant which wasn't to busy, so it wasn't loud. They accomodated my young children.
This place is absolutely horrible. It's a bare bones "apartment", as soon as you enter the room you are welcomed by an under furnished hell hole. The floor is filthy, the walls and trim look like they haven't been painted since it was built. The tables are of cheap prison quality.
The Queen bed is made up of two single beds and are extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived ( family of 4) there were only 3 blankets available which we then had to ask administration for another which took them a good hour because the couldn't find the key to their storage shed.
Was hoping to at least have a nice hot a shower --- nope not a single drop of hot water in the system. The little hot water system is tiny and needs to be manually refilled, even after doing this water is cold. 4 days no shower. Not happy.
The place reverberates like a train tunnel due to lack of anything in the rooms to absorb the sound.
Privacy in the bedrooms is from a blind that doesn't quite reach past the window so people could still watch youi sleep from the outside. The lounge room blinds don't cover the entire window either so people can see in through the 150mm gap and watch you.
First night was interrupted sleep due to other residents coming back from a night out or whatever, fighting, screaming and banging on doors around the building. Following morning had more abusive language flying around outside.
All in all I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially families. Nothing good to say
Near the beach, super market, play area and restaurants. Spacious room. Good service. Nice detail craft package for the children. Our room had little sea view and loft with 3 beds for the kids. Top.

This is the worst place iv stayed in ever! The rooms are run down, poor service and I was told I had to pay $20 to use the wifi for a day.
