They have a nice selection of rotted tasteless fruits and vegetables.

Clean and never overly busy. Bit pricey overall though but the meats are better then some places.

It's a typical grocery store. However, I found expired things in the store and notified the manager about it. This happened more than twice already in the past 3 years I've been going to this store. It's still better than most places.

Prices are much higher than Shop Rite. That's probably why Shop Rite is sold out of a lot of items, but Acme still has them.

Went to buy some stuff today, Nice and clean place, probably the best one in South Philly, but some of the prices are not correct, specially the promotion onse, in 3 products not just one, first one is the water, but 1 get 1, on Nestle water, the vendor (nice guy by the way) told me the offer is only for our brand water, second one, some candy .. buy 2 get 2 .. you can mix the brand, took 2 from each brand only to find out the promotion didn't apply and didn't notice until i was in my car and didn't bother to go back .. too cold .. and i was changing the water brands when he was calculating .. no big deal .. 3rd one is the wedges .. the laughing caw .. i read it was 3.99 .. in the receipt it was 4.99 .. please check the prices again .. other than that .. it's a good store .. love it .. and I'll probably go back visit since i live 6 blocked away.

Pretty Standard over priced grocery store,.. Yeah you could get it from cheaper somewhere else.. But you you wanted Beer

Half of the produce is bad. I've found moldy prepacked meat. I've had the deli person tell me there was no Dietz and Watson turkey in the back so I couldn't get it even though there was one in the case. I had a cashier yell at me because I had 12 items in the 10 item line. Some cashiers are very nice but for the most part it seems like a poorly run store.

Update... Recently I found moldy cracker barrel cheese so I brought it to customer service. The girl looked at it, looked at me and said "can I help you" at which point I said "no, I'll put the moldy cheese back where it was". I Asked another employee if the manager was there and she told me yes I could go to the office. I told the middle aged blond manager what happened. She took the cheese, turned around, and walked away. No sorry, no thank you, nothing. Seriously, I hate this store. I only go if I need a few things because it is so close to me and if my family wants sandwiches I go for Liscious rolls.

I love ACME, it's one of my go to markets. They do have a small organic fruit and veggie section as well as a small natural and organic meat/poultry section. They can be a little expensive but it's always worth it. Going shopping at ACME is a South Philly tradition!

Fresh produce unlike ShopRite! Nice employees, kept very clean and organized. People say the prices are high here but not by much and sometimes they're cheaper than other supermarkets during sales and you get what you pay for. If you want good quality food go to Acme, if you're trying to save a buck and don't care about quality in your food go somewhere else. Also, they have a beer/wine section with an in store sit down so they can babysit your husband while you shop

It's fine. Prices are a bit high in my opinion on a variety of items.

Go later at night if you can, avoid the crowds. Serves beer, build your own 6 pack with a decent selection of craft beers and other single beverages, where you can buy one and sit in the small eating area. Serves pub type apps. Grocery shopping cost wise, if you're signed up with their mymixx savings rewards, you'll save money on a lot of products. Lacking in the organic produce section and when it's available, many times is not fresh. Eagles fans, great place to be during the football season, customer service is very good... Especially the front - end store manager Fred! He's a well known, customer favorite at this location and never fails to provide fantastic service and the occasional chat. Very friendly and patient. Store is always clean. Only complaint is the lack of overall organic products available.

Same good quality stuff as Shop Rite 4 blocks down Oregon, but higher prices for some reason.

Acme is a great supermarket and they carry everything you need but the prices are too high in just about everything.

Buck a bag sale,. Love it. No hand carts during virus only push carts.

Went to get lunch meat,but I stopped my entire list because the dude at the lunch meat was teaching some young dude. Got mad at me because I ordered thin cut bologna and cheese. He left the plastic on the bologna so every time you get a slice I have to peel off the plastic around the bologna,the cheese is not as thin as I'd like. The trainer was telling the trainee that people come in and ask for thin cut but don't know what they want. I said usually when you ask for thin slices they'll slice a piece and ask the customer is that thin enough. So he's already teaching the Young Man wrong and bad habbits with customers. So I just cut my Trip short and left out.

Awesome addition of "The Frosted Mug" for beer & wine.....Only reason it's not 5 out of 5 is it could be a little pricey.....

Pros- Convenient location, great savings with the acme app, & clean. Cons- most expensive grocery store in SalPhil, always out of buttermilk, long wait to pay unless using self checkout.
