Golf course and training possibility good.
Prices rather upper sign but justified for us.

Hotel is too expensive for me but pretty. But the ride with the beautiful lipizzaner horses is a real highlight. I'll tell the grandchildren about that.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. At 2h 74Euro is a bit, but it's worth it. By the mountains and the horses are the finest. There are 2 small gallop stretches and you would like to never get off again. After 2 hours, a leather bottom would not be bad. Riding gloves are also good.
The stable is nice and clean. The horses are already standing under heat lamps. Makes a nice photo.
Any time. Real gems and so love the horses.

Our stay was already last August, but the positive impressions of the Posthotel are not fading! On the contrary - we will enjoy our vacation with you again in 2020. Highest Tyrolean hospitality, authentic and not fake, every (feasible) wish is fulfilled. The entire ambience, the wellness area and the rooms are in top condition, the kitchen offers an excellent selection, of course also regional and seasonal products. A big thank you to the entire team of the hotel, you have given us 11 days of pure relaxation. We look forward to the upcoming summer vacation with you and wish you warm regards from Lower Austria.

Very good, here are even more stars attached. This is a 5 star hotel, clearly everything is top. Food, service, rooms, etc. But there are the little things that lift this house out of my view. I have the feeling that this is not going to happen so easily, but one has often considered something to do things better than usual. I only mention that on the bathrobe a sticker with the room number is, great idea in the sauna where umpteen same bathrobes hanging around. And there are a lot of these little things, but that's the difference that keeps me coming back. Congratulations to the management. ,

What do you write in a review if there is nothing but really nothing to criticize? Thank you for two very nice nights with the Reiter family. The Reiters Reserve and the Posthotel are both among the best hotels we know.

In the huge wellness landscape you almost have the feeling of loneliness, so little is going on.

What you have to know, however, is that the main audience is older semesters and the bar music is adapted accordingly. But that was the only thing that we didn't like so much.

The mixture of buffet and service was particularly nice. There's always either or, and one is disappointed. The Posthotel simply does both.

The staff is great too. Some of the people have been working there for many years and are motivated and enthusiastic at work. Nobody seems to be pressed for time ...

Next we will have to visit the Reiters Finest Family ... But before that we have to save a little, vacation days & travel expenses

It is a ONE HOUR wait to get a taxi at the hotel! Because there are no taxis in Achenkirk, other good hotels in the vicinity offer their guests complementary drop offs within Achensee, but Posthotel does not, they make you wait an hour for a taxi to come from another town to take you 8 kilometers to the lake & they don't inform guests in advance that there are no taxis so one should notify them to call a taxi out at least an hour prior.

Position of hotel is not good, it's sandwiched tightly all around between other buildings so is directly looked into by them & they obscure views.
It's very old fashioned and the style and layout has no symmetry, it's Mediterranean in some areas, Tirolean in the lobby-lounge-restaurants & rustic decor in rooms. Laura the waitress from the restaurant is unhelpful rude and malicious.

We stayed at the Posthotel for several days in the summer. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay and we came back really refreshed. The Posthotel fulfills most of its reviews but really everything? In our opinion there are still a few points of criticism.

I would like to rate the following points_

- Reception
- Cleanliness / dog friendliness
- service
- Eat
- bathing area

The reception was very friendly and we immediately felt very comfortable. However, we came with a dog, were already there around 11:30 am, when I asked about the feel-good board, I was referred to afternoon until our room was ready, afterwards it was explained to us, the time was given as 2:00 pm . We were more or less sent away for lunch. A few days later we see new guests at lunch (feel-good board). The area is taboo for dogs, that was clear to us. However, it wasn't hot that day, we could have been asked if we wanted to put our dog in the car for a moment or if we would rather go for a walk. The dog is in the trunk while driving and waiting 1-2 hours in a cool underground car park won't kill him. We don't think it's right to send the guest away. The room was only ready until 2:45 p.m. and I had to ask twice. The hotel management was friendly and informative.

The room itself is very nicely decorated and clean. The bed is very hard, everything hurt us. There are bowls and a bed + blanket for the dog. The rooms face a side entrance perfectly. There is no need to go through the entire hotel. At the exit there is a bag stand, there is also a dog shower, towels are available here. Perfectly thought out.

The service is ok, a lot of young, inexperienced but always friendly employees. On the first evening we couldn't order more wine because the service only hopped in a triangle and kept running past us. In this price category, we expect a waiter to be properly looked after, that was not always fulfilled. The food itself was of good quality, but in our opinion it does not meet the expectations that can be derived from the other reviews. We had an "i" but the "icing on the cake" was simply missing. The idea with the buffet combination is nice. I just find it kind of strange when I order something, it comes partly from the buffet, partly directly from the kitchen. The coordination with the filling of the buffet did not always work, once it was pretty empty and we thought ok . then there is a little less on offer today, after our main course everything was filled up. One evening we had to wait a good 30 minutes for the main course to be ordered from the kitchen. There is definitely upside potential here.

The bathing area is very nice and clean both outside and inside. Outside a direct view of the mountains. Likewise the sauna area, there is something for every taste.

A beautiful place to recharge your batteries, pamper yourself and switch off. Always my pleasure!

Rarely seen such a well-run hotel! The beautifully designed wellness worlds, the extra-spacious rooms, the committed and cordial staff, the really exceptionally good food, the top spa treatments and of course the rides with the Lippizaner - an all-round treat for the soul.

The most beautiful hotel that I - as a woman who has traveled on - know. Very successful combination of tradition and modernity, restoration, various room types, spa, etc. Perfect. If you are lucky, you can also experience traditional Bavarian parades on the street in front of the main building.
The main thing about this house, however, is the very competent and appropriately friendly, committed staff. The spirit of a true host still blows here.

Great hotel! The spa and pool area is impressive. I particularly liked the existing saltwater pools. Dinner can either be served or you can help yourself to the buffet. Quality of the food was very good! Particularly noteworthy is the very courteous staff. The cleanliness in the hotel and the rooms was always perfect.

We wanted to have a coffee with our daughter (1 year) to wait for the bus in pouring rain. We were then kindly advised that this was only possible with children over 14 years.

Great house with wonderful, passionate people. At first it seems a bit nested and confusing, but after 2 days you get the hang of it.

Unfortunately there is only half board and buffet, but the buffet courses are also served at the table - very well done for those who are not buffet eaters. Top quality!

An experience, ideal relaxation for body and mind, all senses are pampered

For 6 years now, the Posthotel has been an oasis for me, where you can completely let go and go into another world.
Everything and the special thing just fits: every year there is something new that tops the supposedly perfect yet again (e.g. YinYang outdoor pool or Tenzo bathrobe restaurant or Karwendel room ..........)

Especially in 2020 we were able to recharge our batteries four times here at Posti and we are always happy as soon as we reach the extraordinarily special reception, enter the hotel, which is magnificent in terms of decoration and ambience, enveloped by the unique Posthotel scent of the extremely warm welcome to the friendly Posthotel family.

Kitchen is decent with weaknesses in desserts, service in order - but not outstanding, offers of the house are quite interesting. I have already lived in 4 * S-houses, which were at least equal in all respects.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff, very good food but a bit strong oriented to the Far East, varied program, nice rooms, bathroom and sauna area not used since too bad in the years. Barman a bit grumpy and not exactly friendly. Barchefin very friendly, enterprising and very personable.

Perhaps the nicest hotel I have ever been to. A wonderful wellness landscape with everything your heart desires. Various steam baths, Finnish sauna, tepedarium and many relaxation areas. Several outdoor pools and several indoor pools are also available. The rooms and the hotel are furnished with great attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the food leaves nothing to be desired. The whole thing has its price, of course. But it is definitely worth it.

The accidentally issued 4 * I hereby correct. 5 * have many hotels, but not always these are earned (in my view). The Posthotel leaves everyone behind. Big pools, clear. Great food, clearly. Nice rooms, of course. Top service, logical. But now it starts: The decisive factor is how everything is presented, whether attention is paid to details in arrangements, decoration, small touches for the guest, etc. And there is the Posthotel just can not be beat. Oh, there is also area around it. Nice, sometimes very nice. But so far about 15x Achensee is slowly becoming a habit. Since it is good to know that there is a Posthotel. Nevertheless, we drive regularly. We never get bored. Just go there and test yourself.

Every time we are surprised again: from the beginning to the end the service was professional and friendly, the newly renovated Karwendelzimmer are modern and stylish, the restaurant meets high quality standards and the wellness and fitness offer is huge. Happy again and again!

I spent a long weekend at the Postotel. I especially liked the pool for nude bathing and the log cabin sauna very well. The older sauna area was a bit old. Also a big plus that the hotel is only accessible to adults over 14 years. So you can relax properly. The breakfast buffet and the cheese buffet in the evening was excellent. What I tend to complain about was the lunch and the dinner. That was a lot better a few years ago. Unfortunately, no comparison. But I still like to come back.

We've been to your place three times now. We have also visited a couple of other wellness hotels. But it was most beautiful with you. Everything is just great. Thank you. Will definitely come back.

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in Europe. The resort is huge and has a lot of facilities and services that are geared towards having a relaxing and wonderful time. The food is amazing and has a wide variety of dishes that are of highest quality standards. And the staff is helpful and friendly and will get out of their way to help you have a great time. If I can give this place a 6 star rating I would. Definitely recommend it and I'm definitely going again.

We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Staff was really attentive, and food served (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was excellent. The hotel has plenty of pools/areas to relax indoors as well as our doors. The rooms were clean, and spacious with a nice balcony facing the mountains. Would def go there again.

We come every few years to the Posthotel, because with us from the first minute relaxation and well-being triggers ... the Posthotelduft, but also the style and the staff are unique in the Tyrol. The new section with the bathrobes bistro, the Tenzo and the light-flooded fitness center fit into the existing layout very nicely and remedy the "maneuvers" in an elegant way. Although it was fully booked, we never felt it was full, either in the spa, in fitness, or in the food. Only "downer" you have to book early.

Wellness Hotel, perfect for family reunions. Great food choices (even vegan and gluten free ones), professional service. Evening programme and various activities included. (photography, hiking, horse carriage tours, ect.). Free fitness classes every day and so many different steam baths and saunas that you can barely try them all in one weekend. Style of furniture and decor is modern but rustic. No kids under 14 allowed.

Reception very difficult. Was not considered, although I addressed the gentleman at the reception. Eternal back and forth until I could move into the room. Assigned tables in the evening, but each time a bill from another guest on the table. The names of the guests thought I should be worthy of protection. Sauna landscapes mediocre. Sour smell in some steam baths. Very twisty - if you ask for the way, then only reluctant information from sauna master. Food was ok. Service of blond, polish waitress very good! Other service staff below average.

Whoever was there, comes again and again! Special praise goes to the riding stables and the kitchen.

I spent my holidays in Pertisau, but I wanted to go horse riding during my stay. I discovered the Post Hotel on the Internet, whereupon I immediately booked an off-road ride with Lipizzaner horses.
The next day the time had come. I was greeted very friendly in the hotel as well as in the riding stables. My horse "Ivanka" was already saddled and ready in the box. Briefly tighten the girth, adjust the stirrups and off we went.

It was an amazing experience! Ivanka is a super lovely horse and I immediately felt very comfortable. I was also very impressed with how the horses were handled. The staff treated the animals calmly and respectfully - something I really appreciate and unfortunately often miss in the riding stables. A big praise!
Conclusion: For the brief insight that I received, I can only warmly recommend the PostHotel and would come back IMMEDIATELY if I'm in the area!

Good rooms but far too long ways in the hotel. The spa is a bit old. Typical hotel kitchen, everything was served the day before found the next day in any form again at the buffet. Price performance is therefore not ok
