The Posthotel in Achenkirch is one of the few hotels that I would describe as perfect .... and that is very rare. Everything is just right here. I feel every time again ....

Very nice hotel, very delicious food, courteous service.

Never visited such a great hotel.
From the beginning to the departure everything was just perfect. The service was super good not intrusive but read every wish from your lips before you even expressed it.
The whole hotel smelled super good and there was an absolutely comfortable atmosphere.
Cleanliness was the be-all and end-all here, whether in the room or in the SPA area, nothing to complain about anywhere.

Now for the meal:
Very, very fresh and absolutely tasty! All requests are listened to and implemented immediately without being ashamed. The food was more than delicious and I really haven't had such a large selection in the buffet.
The buffet is a dream especially for cheese lovers.

Riding stables:
Super dear Lippizaner with a very nice riding instructor who always had an overview.
It was a very successful ride.

All in all it was a super relaxing holiday, you just felt comfortable and we will definitely be back!
I found absolutely nothing that could be rated negatively.

... and although I myself have a 3 year old daughter, I enjoyed the quiet stay very much and understand that the hotelier does not allow children and wants to keep it that way.

One of the best if not the best 5 star hotel in which we have been so far. This family owned and managed wellness hotel leaves no wishes unsatisfied. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is very healthy and delicious, the service makes you feel at home, everywhere there is a very pleasant smell from the candles, the offer of pools and saunas is probably the best in Europe and there are daily activities organized. Even the employees have their retreat center. I can only say that we will surely come here again.

This hotel is beautiful. The food is great. The wellness area is the nicest I have seen in a hotel so far. No children, only from 14 years access. That's a good thing .

As the owner of a wellness resort, I like to go here. Just like with all of us, it is top-notch. Beautiful saunas, many swimming pools and an excellent kitchen. For me, the best wellness hotel in the world

We left the hotel only today and I wanted to leave my experience as an appreciation here as a review, as long as they are still so fresh and I find the time for it.

Impression of the hotel:
The Posthotel instantly conveys a homely "home impression". A mix of country house with old and new design elements. It smells of vanilla everywhere and the decoration is perfect for the ambiance.
Normally I do not like to go to 5 star hotels .... That has nothing to do with the price, but rather with the cool appearance, everything is sterile and the feel-good factor for me is nil.
Very different in Achenkirch! There is a living room atmosphere for me personally, because I also live like the design language there.

The room:
We had room # 158 the last 4 days. It was spacious with bedroom, living room, toilet and bathroom. The balcony was huge in relation to the other of the neighbors, although one had to say that this is shared with the neighboring room. (was not mine, but I did not see anyone)
The bathroom was a bit old, but there was no point deduction for me, as it was still very well maintained and showed no weaknesses. (you can see anyway, which is constantly being renovated) -> small info for the hotel: faucet dripping in the bathtub;)

The wellness area:
Very generously designed, with many different pools, saunas, steam baths. It really comes at everyone's expense. Top maintained and towels are everywhere, as well as teas, small healthy snacks and spring water.
Also the connected spa area with different body treatment left nothing to be desired.

The catering:
For me actually not to topen, as it justifies the price for the half board costs.
At noon, you can easily go to a kind of vital restaurant, where a variety of light food is always set up, especially the TMC (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is recommended here because it is not in the stomach.

The quality and how the food is served fits perfectly with this 5 star hotel.

... the most important thing in the end, the staff:
I'm a service provider myself and that's why I attach great importance to people, which is why I can only say hello!
Starting with the underground car park where a very polite employee took our luggage out of the car right up to the maid.
You can tell, that there is also a good atmosphere inside, which is why I have not seen a single crew member in a bad mood, or not greeting.
Our waiter, Bernd, at breakfast and dinner we also want to explicitly say thank you again. I had my lactose-free Cappo already on the court, while I was still at the buffet, as he remembered it from the previous day :-) Also my special request for a Kaiserschmarn (also lakto.frei) was fulfilled as a matter of course the next evening, which gave me a lot of pleasure.

.... thank you, Family Reiter, and your entire team for valuable time in your beautiful hotel. The stress of everyday life was reduced within a very short time and we will rave about it for a long time!

The perfect hotel, the perfect spa hotel, the perfect golf hotel, the perfect hotel for sauna lovers - great in the summer, but also in winter everything is pleasant. The rooms are not cheap, but the value is topp.

My favorite hotel in Austria with the most beautiful spa area, saltwater pool and swimming pool, great kitchen in the restaurant ... you will not be sick of residing here. The staff is friendly and considerate, the cosmetician is great, the massage is soothing ... I could still rave by letter, it is difficult to perfect even better. Of course there is a private parking garage, etc.

Sensational wellness area and friendly staff. Great leisure activities, horses bikes, tennis everything there. I would like to stay there. Only to be recommended, there is nothing better and in just over an hour you are from Munich!

5 days before the next and 360 days since my last stay, I'm happy again. The service on request makes you want more.

Arrive and carefree days with honest & professional service at a high level.
Get a varied wellness area without claustrophobia.
Great gastronomy and attentive service for the connoisseur.
And best of all: my 10th stay will also be a hit - because it is one of the few hotels with consistently high quality and further development. And my only week of the year leaves no room for dizzying experiments that you have to talk about in retrospect ...

Booked here again after a few months.
Culinary still very high level, otherwise some annoyances.
Eternally waiting for the room, the promised welcome drink was never served, reception at the reception relatively unfriendly and uncoordinated. Some of the audience is not up to the previous exclusivity of the house - last-class appearances, bath slippers in the restaurant ??? Looks more like Hofer travel currently.
Total staff acts as if it would not be run properly !? Oh, here comes up to date again clearly what damage a badly managed staff can inflict on a company.
Dear Fam rider! It would be high time you had a presence in your company again, control your staff and possibly teach your audience the etiquette of your house ;-)

This hotel would earn 6 stars, something you have to see! The spa leaves nothing to be desired! Food is a treat!

An absolutely great hotel!
The welcome at 23.30 very friendly and warm. Cold plate and champagne were ready to enjoy within a very short time.
Even though it was only 2 days ... We will be back! We have wonderfully recovered during this time. The bath and sauna area is really only recommended. So beautiful and lovingly done. Everything is always there, and above all: you came to rest!

We will definitely be back!

Fantastic hotel. Anyone who loves horses is in good hands here

Great spa, delicious food, great horses, Almabtrieb great. Quite a successful getaway. Also, the golf course wants to be played. A very well maintained facility. Even if a little bit of a challenge.

from arrival to departure everything was great. We will be back. The phylosophy of the house is perfect. All very friendly, accommodating no matter in what area. Everything is made possible to satisfy the guest. Just right: where the journey begins! One wishes, it does not stop. We had booked 3 nights. One day before arrival I called u. wanted to extend 3 nights. It did not take 2 minutes for me to get a positive decision despite my regular guest week. The house was full but you did not take it so true. All peace, not crowded, no stress. We were really happy and did not regret it. The whole house is an eye-opening, everything so lovingly decorated, decorated .. Fantastic ... always to stop and admire. You are in class.

Wow, one of my favourite hotels in Europe The kitchen is amazing a very relaxed atmosphere with a huge Wellness area. For any fans of the Alps, this is worth checking out. Golf, hiking, MTB riding horse riding... The list goes on Also to note, young children aren't allowed, so the whole hotel is quiet. Families should look for other options

A place for relaxation and feasting. 7000sqm sauna, pools, etc.
And tried it out again and tested the newly designed rooms. Was just OK and booked for the next vacation.
We deliberately always book a room away from the catering trade, then we have the walk before and after dinner.
When we go swimming, it's always an extra walk, after all, we want to do sports.
Winding hotel? Sure, we love the little twisty hotel, because it has grown over several years and is therefore interesting. Even the koi in front of the stairs are beautiful for us.

Even after more than ten years, the Posthotel Achenkirch is always a new, fantastically beautiful experience for us. The fact that the vacation retreat has developed into a "feel-good hotel for adults" is ingenious against our desire for undisturbed rest and relaxation. The own well-maintained panoramic golf course, the unrivaled large, imaginative and pleasant spa area as well as the culinary delights from breakfast to dinner (the dessert buffet is the ebsolute hit every night!) In addition to the choice of a junior suite no wishes unfulfilled. Above all, hovering the incredible home atmosphere, created by the host family Reiter and their always highly motivated, highly trained and committed employees who always create a true home-climate. In short: We do not know any better vacation and relaxation than in the Posthotel.

An inspiring hotel.
The food is very good and tasty and there is also a vegan menu to choose from - can do anything, not a must. The staff is really courteous and very nice.
The wellness area is just gorgeous. The sunken temple is particularly recommended.
It is also nice that it is a grown hotel, so it has a lot more charm than the new, stylish "blocks". We will definitely be back - because we have recovered well and are happy with everything. The hotel has a very positive charisma.

One of the best - if not THE best - place to relax and try new things. I visited the yogakurs by Heike Weyer-Kukert - extremely good and inspiring! In the morning a gift from the house - in the afternoon in small group and very civil price - a wonderful experience!
The house itself is in itself a real place of power. the kitchen too good and the bar too cozy .... the staff was always friendly and courteous - you should actually act as an insider tip ....

Heavenly 5 * hotel with history, heart and soul! Not pretentious, friendly staff contribute to the well-being, as the excellent cuisine (various menu selection and rich buffet, unsurpassed breakfast buffet) and the extensive leisure facilities. We were for example riding on super pretty, quite well trained Lippizanern and have us in the top equipped gym and weight room exhausted, before we rushed into the sprawling, very well-kept spa area (which has been steadily expanded over the years). Many pools, saunas, steam baths, loungers and soothing spa treatments invite you to relax and unwind.

Incredibly nice hotel with perfect service, very nice wellness area, the best sauna master, you can imagine (great job, Martin!) And unimaginable good food. Everything is done, so you just feel good and already at the check-out, when you next time again!

Always very nice here in this large pool area. An experience for connoisseurs. The food is varied and very good. Come to the Posthotel for 4 days every year. Have tried other hotels, but the Posthotel remains our favorite to this day.

Very nice and cozy hotel. Huge spa area with various pools, brine pool, salt cave and saunas for everyone. Excellent food in the restaurant and very friendly staff.
