Highly recommended! Great place to file taxes for free of charge! Also don't cash your income tax return at the store or check cashing places. They are to high and charge hundreds of your hard earned money. Go to Walmart they only charge $1on every hundred. Hope this helps someone save some money 2020.

Great program, but nobody to answer phones. It makes no difference whether one calls them at 2pm or at 9a, no one will answer the phone. Message heard at 9 am, 2nd week in March, same as it was in January, "Wait time may exceed 30 minutes"! Can't be any good if one cannot get to the starting blocks. If it's 'that good', then someone with a business accumen should step up to the plate and get this House in order.

I am very disgruntled at this time and here's why: I have patronized accounting aid for many years. The service was great in the beginning. I Filed my 2018 taxes at Oakland County Financial Hub, in Ferndale. I Filed on February 27, 2019.

I called to Inquire about my return many times since then. I have left numerous messages for someone in management. I cannot get info regarding an acceptance date from the State of Michigan. I cannot get info from the state's web site, Where's my refund. I spoke to a live treasury agent and was told, there is no info in the treasury system for me at all.

I received a copy of an amended return after filing the first one on February 27, 2019. The call center has limited knowledge as to what happened and how to contact the site where my return was completed. The voice mail box is always full......Oakland county site left a voice mail n said, we did an amended return, something went wrong, it wasn't your fault. Also the voice message said, I'll get a copy of the return. I got a copy a week ago, tried calli g Oakland County site, after they called me for a week.

Today is March 31, 2019 and I have not received any return calls from anyone at the call center where I have left messages for a supervisor to call me. What do I do to reach a Live person? Where is my return? Can anyone help me? All calls are routed to call center, there has to be a better way.

I need HELP to track my return. I feel alienated.

One of the best organizations that is avaliable for low income ppl to get taxe info and get their taxes done. They have up-to-date technology and everything that would need for tax season. The volunteer specialists are very nice and patient..Highly recommend

Called at 9 am to set an appointment, currently waiting to speak to someone at 11:33 am. Very disappointing

I was trying to reach someone at the main number, because I had a tax question. I spoke with a lady in the call center, who was rude, and purposely hung up on me. She was not helpful at all. It is imperative that my tax question was addressed, and she just ignore my request to speak with someone that is knowledgably about taxes. She was smacking in my ear and told me there was no supervisor that could help me. Whats frustrating is that you come to this Aid Society for help, and people like her just hang up on you, because she does not want to take the time to transfer your call to the proper party

It is 6/9/20, and I want to let everyone know that my situation with Accounting Aid Society has been resolved. Shout out to a wonderful Manager Garylle Smith who called me and made sure my issue was taking care of,and it was taking care of, and it was. Thank you Garylle Smith. Your Awesome.

I called a few weeks ago for my appointment and call to reschedule today and I'm not in the system for it. If I hadn't called I would have gone up there for nothing. You need to get a better system for the receptionist taking appointments.
