Great food, great service and great owner. What else could you ask for.
Quaint little spot for great Italian food. Awesome brunch on Sundays. Even a great spot to grab a pizza on the way home.
Food was good. They offer GF pasta for an upcharge. Full bar, cocktail (a Manhattan) was not very good, seemed to be missing sweet vermouth. Service was very good.
Always perfect! Pasta, pizza, etc. one of our favorite restaurants!
Great food and atmosphere. We had a wonderful server as well. He was very polite and personable. Definitely will be going back!
Great place to eat. service is good unless busy. Then slow
Great service. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
First time here but it was for Thanksgiving Dinner with family. The regular menu was not available but that didnt matter! The Thanksgiving meal was absolutely outstanding and is a local tradition that I got to enjoy. The food and atmosphere was awesome and the owner and staff were above and beyond what is expected. This is truly a hidden gem in Fallston Maryland. Everyone I talked to that is local said this is their go to restraunt and I believe it. They have an awesome pizza oven so I am coming back to check that out! I highly recommend Acappella for a fine dining experience.
This place is one of a kind and is exactly what this area needed. They do not even own a freezer and EVERYTHING is fresh. This family run restaurant takes much pride in not just making their food but all the way down to their service. The Owner does an Amazing job and bends over backwards to get familiar with his customers and what they like. "Customer " is no longer what it feels like once you have gone to dine there a few times. They make you feel like one of the family and you are coming for a holiday dinner. The food is made with love. The atmosphere , food , wine and service comes to you with a feel nothing less than you walking out of this place already looking forward to the next time you can come back . Before you know it all your friends and family members become regulars. I can't imagine them not needing to expand. We cant even walk in or leave the restaurant without seeing several people we know. There have many days that I have ordered take out and my family gets to sit down together at home as if I spent all day cooking in the kitchen. The owner goes out of his way to explain that they did not overcook things and when I prepare it for my family that evening how to set the food on the correct temp. and for how long so ! This place is special and owner and family have brought this to our community and is truly a gift !
The cheese ravioli was really good with the white cream sause the staff was very friendly
I highly recommend the cheese ravioli in marinara sauce! The best!
Service was awesome!!! Marcella was wonderful. Food was okay but I wasn't real impressed. Great atmosphere as well. May return to try again and see waitress but not my favorite place
The atmosphere, even with covid, is very welcoming. The wait staff was exemplary at taking care of our table. If you like mozzarella sticks, give them a try here. They are house made and better than frozen. The Chicken Chesapeake special was so good and enough for two meals, reasonably priced. And of course, no trip to Acappella is complete without a pizza for the table. Killer crust, balanced sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. Really can't wait to go back.
It was the first time I was there the place is nice and the food was good will definitely go back.
The food was delicious! I had the mahi mahi special. The staff was very friendly. We had a great experience.
Outstanding Food & Great Service! Everyone was attentive and eager to serve!
Food was ok! service was absolutely terrible. No one came to take our drink orders for 20 minutes! We were there for a solid hour before food arrived. Asked waitress to put candles in cake that we brought and come out to sing to my son for his 18th... we specified and asked hostess previously when we made reservations!
She walked out with a busboy lid on cake no candles... our table was crowded stuffed packed with empty dishes! I pulled her aside and made my disappointments known asking her to speak to manager. She explained that the cook and hostess dropped the ball. I asked her to not go to table and make a big deal to my family. She did exactly that when I was in the ladies room, approaching my family telling them I was upset... making teenagers and twenty somethings feeling awkward and embarrassed! We took the cake home .... to celebrate there! The manager explained that the wait time for our food was only 29 minutes which is pretty average! We didn t bother to tell them it was twenty minutes before we were even approach... waitress blaming Sophie the hostess and cook!!! Awful experience
The best local bar / restaurant in the Fallston area. Excellent food and friendly staff, and the patrons that frequent this place are cool.
Hidden Gem - fabulous pizza, great atmosphere and good service!
Tried this place last night after work and it was fantastic on so many levels. First, my husband and I came in around 8:45 pm (Acappella closes at 10 pm), I thought we might encounter some 'we're closing soon' mentality--NOT AT ALL. Other tables came in after us and the general atmosphere of the dining area was good. The bar still had customers. Our waiter was attentive and answered questions about the wine list. We ordered pizza and we fell in love! My husband said he will travel back for carryout and we live 30 minutes away. I ordered the Acappella and it was perfect. The bacon on the pizza gave a richness and full body to the pizza and was wonderful. My husband, who likes thin, well-done crust with light cheese received exactly what he ordered. We will definitely return to this gem of a place.
Always a good experience. Brick oven pizza is really good and the chef tosses the dough above his head entertaining young and old visitors.
Normally very good. This time there was almost no toppings on pizza. Somewhat disappointed
Food was excellent. Just found a "go to" place in my zip code.
Food is consistently good. My favorite is their side salad with grilled salmon. Marcella is our favorite waitress but sometimes it takes a long while to get your food.
Pizza wasn't even hot. They must use the cheapest topping because they had no flavor at all. Very litter cheese. Only one server who spent more time talking to a man at the bar then waiting on tables. All while the employees of the "family ran restaurant" sat and ate and didn't help. Took over an hour for one pizza and 3 kids meals. $8 house salad tasted like dirt and was extremely small.
Very GOOD food. Accomadated someone with allergies ...even on Christmas eve with a limited menu.
Food is always good, wait staff friendly, knowledgeable and great!
Just had my first pizza from here and it was delicious!!! Look forward to going back for more.
SUPER FRESH SUPER FRIENDLY I WILL DEFINITELY GAIN WEIGHT EATING AND SAMPLING ALL THE ITALIAN CUISINE.... I FOUND MY NEW LOVE IN FALLSTON YUMMY. GENUINE ITALIAN RESTAURANT
Food is great.pizza is very good. atmosphere is very nice.
This restaurant is local to me. I have eaten there many times. The food is alway very good, the personnel are good to deal with, the prices are good for a working men budget. This is a fine place to get a great meal.
Food was good. If getting a salad with dinner get the small as it's the same size as the large. The lasagna was very good, the Walnut ravioli had 5 pieces and on the bland side

This was my first and probably last time I'll dine at this restaurant. I am a mom of two boys and tonight like always I brought their friends with us for church for fellowship..Well they didn't have it, so we went across the street to try your restaurant out..So it was me and my crew (4 boys ranging ages 9-11). The host greets us, was going to pull two tables together for our small five which was great..there was a booth that was reserved on the side..the manager quickly comes over and tells them to go ahead and sit us at the booth, I must have had a confused look on my face, he said easier to control the kids..not getting butt hurt ..okay thank you..now I had a cup of ice water with flavor in it that I brought in because we had other dinner plans that fell through so I had it for that..so instead of melting in my car, I brought it in, not thinking anything of it, where I work, our guest can bring in their on drinks no judgement,of course it can't be alcohol lol..before a server comes to our table for drinks, the manager comes over and asks if he can remove my drink from me, I said if it's not allowed I guess, but I'll only be drinking water. He left my drink server comes over gets our drinks, which my crew all had sodas, she comes back saying we have kids meals for $6 which includes the drink..no thanks we just want a large cheese pizza..the manager happily touched all tables..he came to ours after the food came out, a quick everything good, yes and he was done, watching him touch other tables was more welcoming then what we experienced..the server came to the table..I kindly asked for refills for two drinks, she brought them..didn't come back till the end..all glasses were empty, she asked if we were threw carrying dirty dishes from another table, I asked her when she was able just a half glass for my sons friend who was still eating, she sets the dirty plates with pasta from another table on our table, grabs his cup from where he drinks( finger inside his cup) get lemonade sets cup down and walks away leaving the dirty dishes from another table on our table..the host grabs the dishes..she comes back 10 minutes later..I asked for the check so we can go to church..then when she found that out she tried to make small talk, when she learned I'm a server at another job, plus work at my sons school, and trying to run my small business, she wanted to talk or act like I was someone worth waiting on..my check was $27.77..I left her $10 which is far more then she should've gotten.
If you didn't judge us when we walked through the door and took care of us like your other tables, you would've gotten more, I take care of my servers 20% no matter how sucky...just maybe next time you don't judge anyone on how many kids they have (BTW they were not rowdy at all) and take care of all your tables, because I assure you the service tonight was not worth the $10 tip, but maybe next time you will treat that small family a little better..but sorry I get better service at a chick filet, and we spend easy 30$ and always a good experience..thank you, the pizza was good..but the experience was not.
So we will not be coming back.
Mom of two with two more
As always Acappella does it right if not they will make it right, thanks to the staff.
The service is excellent as is the food. We always feel welcome and appreciated.
Every visit I have experienced great atmosphere, service, and food. There are always unique specials. The pizza is wonderful. The signature Acappella pizza is my favorite.
Really very good food and service. Food is fresh, friendly staff. It's a cut above other Italian restaurants.
Horrible service , we went there after a Easter egg hunt with the kids. The waitress acted like she had a stick up her butt, not pleasant girl. Food was good though .
Good food but our server was very rude and was pushing us to leave when we weren't ready and was gathering his check. Blamed us for being rude when he actually was.
Kids pizza amazing, chicken parmesan (tasted like frozen chicken), tortelli.......well I got 8 noodles. The staff apologized for not correcting me when I asked for tortellini and did offer to make me something new. But as a dinner item 8 noodles really? So food for thought if you had 4 people in your dinner party and two of them said Ooo that looks good can I try it well you'd be left with 6 noodles.......The staff was friendly and the management was pleasant but if you go hungry and order that you will leave hungry and possibly irritated at paying 16.95 for it.
So my wife and I stopped here on a whim after driving home from Virginia. It looked good from the reviews.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff very friendly, all the people in the place seemed to know each other as well which was cool. Pizza was great, thin and delicious, fresh ingredients were definitely used. Dessert was outstanding, got a very berry cake which I did not want to share and my wife got a cannoli that the guys grandma makes the filling for!
Definitely going back!
Good food, friendly and knowledge staff, a family run atmosphere with great bar and spirits. Didn't feel rushed to get in and out, and the food was outstanding!
Made a last minute reservation for NYE and were so glad we did. Wife and I made it a date night and we were NOT disappointed! :) great food in a quaint and cozy atmosphere. Amazingly friendly family owned operation...owner stopped by and checked on us. First time here but will not be the last. PS...our server Sophie was super sweet and very tentative.
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our waiter had an accent which for me made the dining experience more enjoyable. I had the chicken picatta which was quite good. This is quite possibly our new fave restaurant.
Great hosts for the golf tournament. Excellent food and drinks!
A little pricey but the food is amazing. You get what you pay for. The mozzarella sticks are the best I have had. Enjoyed the pasta dishes and subs. Good calamari and marinara sauce. Great cozy atmosphere. Cannollis were yummy. Liked that they were bite size. Good homemade filler. We will definitely return.
Excellent food and service. My most favorite restaurant by far.
The food is good, but the quality doesn't match the high prices being charged.
Very good food , Nice bar and bartender, great service, nice atmosphere. I will be dinning there again
Friendly neighborhood family feel to the place and the food is always good.
4 of us enjoyed great dishes and pleasant, witty, and attentive service.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE & OVERPRICED! Pizzas were burned and skimpy. No cheese, no toppings. Called to express my concerns and phone girl said she didn t care. Spoke to a manager who didn t care either! WTH?! Close to $60 for 2 pizzas that ended up in the trash. HOW is this place is business??? Smh
Typically go for their pizza, it is simply outstanding. Everything else I've tried has been really good too, always tastes very fresh. Kid friendly, good service and no long waits. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for great food!
Our waitress, Maddie, was courteous and efficient. The entree she recommended was delicious. The dining room was cozy and intimate. Our experience was very enjoyable.
Stopped in with my in-laws, two kids and the wife. We all really enjoyed our food. Their walnut ravioli was a particular delight. Great Italian food in the heart of Fallston.
The food is phenomenal and the service is unsurpassed!!
The food and service were excellent. The bar staff are lovely. We had a really lovely wine, I tried the pizza which was great and had a side ceasar with the nightly special: penne, chicken and shrimp with a spicy rosa sauce. I'll have enough for lunch tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.
This place is awesome, best service by far and food was stupendous!
Good service but their paninis are not really paninis the sandwich is cooked in brick oven but meat inside was cold and cheese not melted. I would not order again.
Very good pasta & flavorful sauces. The restaurant's proximity to the bar, however, made for a noisy Sunday dinner.
We order a pizza for take out this evening and what came home was a pizza with a soggy raw crust. They have a brick oven, I don't understand !
