I have to say I was not impressed with Absolute and will be going back to Chairman Mills for my event needs in the future. Absolute did have specific picnic tables and supposedly the umbrellas I wanted which is why I made the switch. I manage many events for work as well as a number of private events where I require rental services and thought I would give Absolute a 'test-run' for a small private event. I called Absolute to request a quote and did not receive anything, I thought perhaps they did not take my email down correctly so called back and was told they were quite busy and I would receive a quote by noon the next day, I did not receive anything by noon and gave them a few extra days but, my event was approaching so in the end I did have to call them back a third time to to place an order. Upon calling back I did speak to Michelle who was very helpful and responsive. The delivery men were nice and came during the agreed upon time slot, however, the white umbrellas I ordered did not fit in the picnic tables. I was told these worked together and was the reason why I ordered from Absolute in the first place. They said the umbrellas were new but seems pretty 101 to me to check if they fit the tables before sending them out on an order. They did try to resolve the situation and said green or white umbrellas that would fit the tables could be delivered in an hour or so. New umbrellas did arrive, unfortunately, they were multi-coloured like a circus or carnival theme. I was very disappointed as it completely ruined my colour scheme and looked totally awful. My event was set to begin in 1/2 an hour and while the delivery men were nice they said there were no other umbrellas I called Absolute but no one answered the phone and I had guests coming so had to just move on. It ruined the overall look, pink and green colour scheme and photos of the event. Absolute did deliver everything else as requested (I did think the tableclothes were ugly and they didn't have overlays oh and they sent me different sizes of tablesclothes then I ordered but it wasn't a big deal with some folded corners) and picked up the next day during the time frame but, overall not really impressed at all.
Michelle Nicol made my first order with Absolute a breeze! My rental was received on time, in good repair and picked up according to schedule. There was one small bump in the road, but Michelle contacted me in advance with a suitable replacement and our show went on without a hitch. Thanks!
Absolute Provided our wedding with the washroom facilities and a few coolers for the Big day! Their staff was a pleasure to deal with. Right from the start they were so accommodating! Whether it was the staff on the phone at the office who helped me place my order, or the staff that came for a site visit to help us determine what we would need and what would fit, to the team that dropped off and picked up our order, they were all outstanding and beyond nice. The staff here really knows about customer service and they were a pleasure to do business with. They really made our wedding a success by allowing us to check of a few things, and they made it stress-free and painless! I would 100% use them again, and I plan to!! So happy with everything!! Great company!

I have had two separate experiences with Absolute, and I was very impressed each time. The first time was when my house was rented out for a film shoot. The employees handled all my possessions with great care while taking them in and out of my house. There was not a scratch on my floor or a dent on a wall, I was very surprised.
And then, just last year I used Absolute to supply the tent and accessories for my wedding. We ordered a huge tent, as we had an outdoor wedding. The crew set it up without a problem and were again, very respectful of my property. We also rented tables, chairs, cutlery, dishes, and candelabras for each of the tables. In addition to that, we also rented the Royal Flush for washroom facilities at our event. They are absolutely gorgeous, extremely clean, and our guests could not stop talking about what a neat experience it was. They had never seen anything like it. Our wedding was a massive success, and the tent combined with the lighting made the atmosphere magical. Our guests were very impressed with the tent, and with the candelabra centrepieces.
I would highly recommend Absolute for any event you may have, I will definitely be using them in the future.
I dealt with Kris from Absolute for a VERY last minute pickle I found myself in... which happens all too often as a wedding planner! He was able to send me his inventory and availability immediately, and he made the process of becoming a new customer very simple, expedient, and streamlined. The delivery guys showed up at my client's venue the next morning RIGHT on time and were ready with their gear and smiles bright and early. Absolute Tent worked with us at the Newmarket jazz+ Festival 2014. It was such a great experience for us. Their professionalism and skills were apparent from the start. We worked with Ben who is simply the best! He was there for us from the beginning of all festival planning, changing of site plans, providing information, ideas and great support. Set up for festival was done professionally with a dedicated crew of workers showing up on time to get the scene set. Whenever situations came up which required changes - Paul, Ben and Absolute Tent team were ready to make adjustments with great attitude and dedication to our success. We also were thrilled to have a one-stop shopping experience as they have Porto Potties, Fencing, Tables/Chairs etc. Absolute Tent staff were all courteous and professional throughout. I've worked with Absolute Tent & Event services for years on Second Harvest's Toronto Taste and Lunch Money Day events. They always provide excellent rentals and are keen to help out charitable causes like ours. I always deal with Michelle there and she is very friendly and great to work with. Absolute Tent & Event Services is a very professional company that provides first class service and fair prices. We used Absolute for the four Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life events in the City of Toronto. After our experience with them on the first weekend we actually increased their scope of work for future events. I called Absolute when I was helping to plan my parents 50th. wedding anniversary. I am an event planning neophyte so any advice was welcome. Michelle Nickle, the Sales Manager at Absolute patiently talked me through every aspect of what we had in mind. She provided great ideas and reminded me of a dozen things I might otherwise have overlooked.
The tent and everything in it looked great. Michelle told me if we planned for rain, we wouldn t see a drop and she was right. The high peaks of the tent could be seen in the distance from my brother s farm and Absolute's installers provided bright lights to illuminate both the interior and exterior of my brother s property throughout the night.
I didn't know Absolute offered portable restrooms, so I had previously booked those with a local supplier. Michelle offered us a discount on both the tents and the toilets if we booked everything through Absolute and It's My Potty. I m so happy we cancelled the white plastic potties in favour of It's My Potties' high-end trailers. The potties were the talk of the town and some of the men spent time standing around the toilet trailers marveling at this modern day ingenuity.
Thank you Absolute and Thank you Michelle. You boosted my parents milestone anniversary into an evening we will never forget. That is how memories are made!
