ABS Casino Review

Really slow to get food. Over 1 hour for special. Food quality has gone down. Used to go once a week to have a good breakfast and meet family. Guess its time for a new place that takes pride.

Right down the street from my work. Lunch here is good and well priced. Top favorite is Wonton soup. This rating would be a 0 if I could blame them for spending to much money on slots :) win some lose more haha

Pure casino is by far my favourite casino in Calgary. it's always packed so the machines have a good turnover, it's pretty lively even on a weeknight. The staff are always helpful and polite. This casino also has heated smoking areas which I really appreciate as I am a smoker.

Alright atmosphere, good place for slots. But can not stand playing table games that use automatic shuffling machines, I don't trust them at all!!! And judging by my win/loss ratio it's with good reason!!!

Horrible casino, felt like it just takes your money slots wise. The tables were so busy if that is your thing.

This casino is terrible. Customer service is brutal. Waited 20 minutes for attendant for money, they didn t even talk or smile when they came. Bad energy in this casino too. Will never go back. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Very big casino with a variety of slots, and many table games.

Very nice casino with an amazing selection of games! Most certainly recommend stopping here in you like vlts and digital gambling. Also very clean with lots of staff going around and cleaning.

Terrible casino. Should change their television ad. This casino is not for you but for them. They had a the slots turned off. Chinese New Year only Chinese patrons had jackpots

Fast and delicious. Love the new hasbrowns. Staff alway courteous and pleasant.

Not too many drunks in the place which is nice. Would have like China mugs for coffee because coffee gets cold too fast. Most everyone was friendly except for the day time barmaid behind the bar counter. She ran me over to see the hail outside which they was no reason for it. She was on duty and not to stand at the front doors looking at the weather.

Save your money! Stay away from table games! Poker room is great! Food isn't the best, not bad!

Went there for a good time. This place is garbage. I thought the staff was very unprofessional and very easily agitated like a child. I had one of their staff members at the cash cage call me a foreigner. Racist white people. I will be reporting to B.B.B. I was totally humiliated even by security. You would be better off at Grey Eagle. These guys are parasites.

I went a little earlier in the evening, it was quiet and not many people. Staff were really friendly.

Good atmosphere...good for a night out on the town. Food and drinks available. Clean restrooms.

After a night of playing black jack in the high rollers area, I was down $1200 and with a two hand notification the table was closed. The pity boss and the table dealer started speaking Chinese or some other language that I do not understand with smiles and smirks on their faces. I went to speak with management and was asked to fill in a complaint card that was submitted in the box. I would not recommend this casino to anyone, their attitude and manners along with the staff needs to be evaluated. I will be contacting the gaming control board.

Typical Calgary casino. Fun games and a good place to eat. The new menu is more expensive than the old one but has some new and tasty choices.

Went here as a first time Casino-goer, the security guard was super helpful as to where I should go for my first time, what games are fun to play, and where everything was. He made the experience memorable alone!

Regular spraying of alcohol on chips, new player hands and dealer changes. Cleaner than other casinos in town. Still a busy place in these economic times.

My husband and I went to the Calgary Pure Casino off Barlow Trail NE for dinner on March 31, Sunday.
I ordered a Steak Sandwich medium rare. When the waitress brought my meal to me the steak was rare.
I sent it back with her and she returned 15-20 later with my steak still rare!! The casino restaurant manager walked by and noticed that there was a lot of blood on the plate and said
Did they cook your steak enough I said No!!!!!!!!
When we were served our meal we were not given any napkins or cutlery and we had to ask for them. You need more staff so it doesn't effect the patrons that come to enjoy the casino! Very, very disappointed in the service and quality of food.

Nice place and atmosphere compared to a few other casinos, but really bad high limit slots. Oh my god, we lost so much money so fast, despite the fact the bill collector was FULL with $66,000 and had to be removed, that same slot then took thousands from us. How greedy are these people? No fun, no bonuses. Just theft. Now that doesn't mean we didn't win, some, but boy it takes it fast. They will let you have a few hours of fun, then destroy you for days and days, taking millions of dollars from you. We lost at least one HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars in Pure Casino in two weeks. Good luck! You will need it, and we will NOT be back.

Great experience. No live roulette tables though all random generated games!

Zero stars. A horrendous experience. The managers were overbearing and incredibly inappropriate in their actions towards us. They clearly have zero understanding on how to deal with people who are having a good time and spending their money. I will never step foot in this ridiculously run establishment ever again.

zero coffee in the poker room from 1am last call until queenie the night shift house manager gets around to distributing. 4am before he offers coffee or sandwiches.

The seniors Fortune 55 Menu is excellent. Just like a good old fashioned small town restaurant.

Went at 1 am was hungry but they only had sandwiches. The servers didn't know much about anything. Also took to long to order and receive the sandwiches. Kitchen closes at 1am. Something to remember.

Large casino with lots of games. Giving it a lower rating simply because it was a bad luck night with massive losses. However that's normal for me as I'm just unlucky in gambling.

Worst restaurant experience ever. They forgot my wife's meal. They brought my brother's wonton soup and didn't make the noodles that he ordered with it so they let it sit there cold on the table while they went back and made some noodles. When they finally brought my wife's omelette it was missing the onions that she ordered.She ate a bit of it because she was waiting while we all ate and was hungry and then the waitress came and took it right off the table while she's in the middle of eating it to the show the kitchen it had no onions. So the second time around for her food she's eating while everyone else at the table is finished. Tables and menus were dirty. The food was not good. Go somewhere else to eat before going here to lose your money

Need work on their slot machines, jumped around 5 before one would except my bill. The place has a funny ordour floating through the casino.

Clean, safety measures were awesome, only thing is they dont have poker tournaments

small, smelly, pricey drinks, OK food at best but you can do better eating elsewhere, many old slot machines, some newer but not many. I don't care much for Casinos anyway.
