I had a water leak in my refrigerator that ruined my floors and cabinets. Jeff and his team came over and took care of everything! Always on time and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I have a brand new kitchen that I could not be more happy with. I highly recommend Jeff and his team!

My experience with A-1 was top notch. I first spoke with Dawn over the phone to schedule an estimate. I was met with a pleasant voice and a competent attitude. Next, I met Brian, who came out to evaluate my damage and provide my estimate. He was timely, complete and personable. Then came Matt, who was my project manager. He communicated with me consistently, as well as worked to reschedule due to challenges that came up in the renovation process.

Todd was the person who completed the vast majority of my renovation. He was not only fully-competent in completing the work, but also full of personality and a positive attitude on the few occasions I interacted with him. He was committed to taking care of me and my situation.

My basement flooded in February and everyone was very patient while I worked to get it under control. In the end, we had to postpone parts of the job multiple times. It was frustrating for me, but A-1 was understanding and accommodating. In the end, we had to adjust the job completion because I'm still having water issues. Ultimately, though, I'm quite happy with the level of professionalism and finished product.

As a Navy veteran, A-1 was recommended to me by USAA (for my homeowner's claim) as a preferred provider. I understand why. I would recommend this organization to others in similar circumstances.

I have to say I'm disappointed with the customer service. I typically am not one to complain but when it comes my and my family's health I get upset. All started off well with an immediate response and visit from one of the techs. Before he left he explained he needed to run the numbers and get back to us via email. Its nearly a month later with no email and 3 un returned phone calls. We have now removed a big portion of the job on our own with the last call being our house needs immediate attention due to the mold that was found from previous rain issues. I am not a mold expert but am worried the toll this mold is wreaking havic on our allergies and future damage to our children's health.

I had a basement flooding issue. These guys came super fast and had everything back to normal within short time. The owner Jeff personally came to my house and was very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend!

Mike who also works with Zerox came with meter for...

Mike who also works with Zerox came with meter for water damaged. He refused to check vent at tub and tub, back door where all the water came flooded to back door. I had to insist on cutting 3" gap on sheetrock at back door to dry out with dehydrator. 1 dehydrated in the bathroom and 1 fan, 1 fan at back door.
Day 2 gave his workers the wrong address to repair sheetrock and they wasted all day looking for the home. Day 3 they pulled out and quit as I wanted meter brought to check water in bathroom vent and back door in and around garden tub.
Mike is very hard to work with and has poor customer service with our concerns. He is arrogant and should pay attention to a home owners concerns. Somewhere there is a Ted who never came to home to inspect damage who is directing work.
Definitely Do Not Recommend A-1 to any Home Owner. I still do not have a work order of damages or repairs. The Loves of NC.

Completely unprofessional. The company was there the next day to install their fans and drying systems, then a hail storm came and changed everything. Jason forgot to remove the fans the day they were scheduled. I had to call numerous times to even get a hold of anyone. The quote for the repairs came 2 weeks after the fact. Meanwhile, I have a plywood floor for a kitchen. The quote was incomplete and was promised by the owner, Jeff, that he would personally take care of the quote after a trade show. Come 2 months later, not a word from them and I still have no work complete. Complete lack of customer service, professionalism, and just plain common courtesy. I would not refer this company to anyone and would urge to to heed my warning. Oh, also Jeff is my neighbor and personally told me "have to take care of the neighborhood". The only thing he took care of was invoicing me $2500 for some "dry out".

Jeff Dunbar gave me a consultation for some work I needed done on a rental property. He never showed up to actually do any work, he just kept telling me he would call me next week with a time that he would be able to work on it. I lost 2 months of rental income because of this.

Very unprofessional and if you want any work done, don t call A1 Restoration.

If it were possible I would give them negative stars. Dont waste your time and money here. The secretary (Kim) will always give u the number of the person that's suppose to help, other then that doesnt do anything, except to say ok if u cancel the job. The contractor or the guy (Jeff) that's suppose to handle your job will never pick up your calls.
