Aéroports de Montréal Review

Good airport.
1. A lot of space at the security.
2. Airport is clean and the restrooms are well indicated. There are plenty of water coolers (good to fill up your water bottles).
3. There are a lot of places to get food (after security).

Bad parts:
1. Restaurants are quite expensive (but that s expected, it is an airport).
2. To get to the airport from the city center you have to take the 747 bus. It has special racks for suitcases, but is not always frequent (especially on weekend mornings) and can be packed. Moreover, the ticket is 10$ if you don t have an OPUS card (city public transport card).

I urge all my fellow Americans to avoid this poorly managed and ill-mannered French airport at any cost. Please choose Ottawa, Syracuse or any other airport and pay little more if you have to but DO NOT come to this airport. I have three times bad, worse and the worst airport drop off and pick up experience and my family member had worst treatment by their staff and security people. My family had plenty of time to clear security and custom but the staff told her she can not make it even if she was there half hour before boarding began. After another round of security checks, she missed her flight. I on the other hand, received parking violation ticket for staying 5 mins in my car so that I could figure out what's going on with my family member. The jackass security guy who issued me ticket would not listened to my concern, did not speak English, complete doushbag who was prejudiced against Americans. I am going to pay ticket but the lack of humanity and ill-mannered this French speaking doushbag showed is unforgettable experience. I will never give my business to this airport and strongly encourage all of you to do the same so that these people will understand how to treat people. Another thing I couldn't understand is that the ticket is in French, along with everything in Quebec while rest of Canada has signs and documents in English and French. This separatist attitude of these people and their policies is beyond my understanding.

The airport is very good but the parking costs the eyes of the head and the access is a little chaotic. I have the impression that it is under construction for 3 years for the same access road.

i stayed and it has a hot tub and exercise room and the free breakfast service is good

We flew in and flew out on our way to Ottawa , loved the runway. Not tried the airport buildings yet.

YUL In IATA terms, it is the main airport in eastern Canada, based in the French-speaking area of the country, which maintains high traffic with Europe and with many cities in the USA, in terms of services and billing speed, the Canadian system, that is " only perfectly ", communication with the city all possible bus services, the most recommended taxis are expensive.

Although every time I board I am entitled to an inspection of the prohibited substance residue in my backpack or on the blower edges of the computer, it is an irritant.

Over the years, they have upgraded the airport to passengers satisfaction. I've always had a good experience, maybe a delay here and there in security, but I don't mind. I rather be safe than sorry. Great shops and restaurants.

One of the worst airports between Canada and the US. Horrible wifi. Water pressure is very low to force people to buy water bottles. The fact they force you constantly to move around with your car cause you can t wait to pick up someone or you. Etc.

This is probably the worst Airport in Canada when it comes to workers and flight delays! I try to avoid flights from here to Winnipeg at all costs! But the times when ive HAD to go through Montreal, Ive never had a good experience. I loathe french ppl so much cuz of this place!

5 star airport. Polite and courteous staff. The addition of a second terminal will be beneficial.

Three stars because the staff there is not the best at all, could really do with an improvement on this part. I would have given this place a two star rating if it wasn't for the great infrastructure. The place is very clean and has lots of accessible points for everything.

free internet, clean, but there is little restaurants before security

It's an okay airport. The departure lounge seats aren't as uncomfortable as I expect from airports. I've had mostly good experiences going through security and customs here although it does get busy.

No porters to be found anywhere...staff making announcements are poorly understood...they cannot speak English nor French properly....parking is restrictive and traffic circulation around the airport is horrendous....in my opinion this is far from being a great International airport!

Complex layout and not enough signage. Hard to get good directions in English. Parking is overwhelming and expensive.

Worst airport parking I ve been to. The place is a mess. Direction to parking not well display. Shuttle slow. If I could give a minus * I would.

Great airport in terms of construction materials and finishes, but... not a lot of signage if you are in a rush to get to your connection. Also, the free wifi wants your email address and it doesn't end there, it'll send you a link to confirm your address?! Plenty of shops and eateries mostly at $$ ~ $$$ range.

Too much construction around the air port, However Restaurants are great, the Marriott Hotel and their Restaurant are exceptionally great choices. People are kind and friendly if you engage them in conversation. Ill give 5 stars once the construction work will be done.

There are missing indications at this airport. Once parked at the multilevel, good luck trying to find indications for the airport entrance. Once in the airport, you better know where you're going because indications won't help you here. No wonder they have all kinds of staff running around..they're all helping people that are lost!

Your normal airport operations, but the roads from the airport are in massive construction and re-routes, don t bother using your GPS, just confuses your way...guess after construction is finished, then maybe we ll do another review.
