A Leap of Taste Review

Very cute small brunch/lunch restaurant. They serve anything from sandwiches, soups, quiche, bagels, coffee, tea, you name it. Everything seems fresh. The food comes out fairly fast. If you have a 40 min lunch, you could prob make it happen. I liked my soups flavor but it had only two small potato pieces in it and my mom liked the Ruben enough but they didn't put sauerkraut on it, which defeats the purpose of a Ruben. I'll give it a 4 because it was charming and good food but they need to make the comfort food more fulfilling.

I really wanted to love this place. Nice ambience inside plus outdoor seating. The quiche was dry and poorly made. My lactose intolerant husband's sandwich which clearly did not say cheese on the board came with cheese. We said we were eating inside and my large cappucino came in a paper cup. But wah.......

This restaurant offers excellent service and yummy food. My favourite restaurant around here. The meals served rapidly and the rates are economical. Highly recommended.

Great coffee and lunch place selling lunch, coffee beans, bulk spices and grains, and other stuff. Nice helpful and friendly staff.

Leap of taste is a must see. They provide a relaxing environment to meat up with friends or for a quiet lunch date. Exceptional food, good coffee, and kombucha on tap. Everyone will find something to please them. Many vegan and gluten free soups as well.

Decent veggie sandwich, but a little uninspired. The kale came with lots of thick stems They were out of mushrooms.

Sweet little cafe that stocks Patagonia Provisions. The soups are vegan and maybe their strong suit, along with their cookies. Super cozy.

Small restaurant on a corner of downtown. Staff was not attentive, muffins were expensive and not edible, basically served ourselves.

This is a great place for a quiet, early morning coffee.

Stopped in on our way home to the bay area and it was perfect! Great sandwich options, tasty bread, and fresh healthy vegetable options. Also a friendly and cozy atmosphere.

Trying to bring Portland to Klamath falls, they appear to have only focused on the food and forgot that service counts just as much, if not more. Severely understaffed. Took almost an hour to get two sandwiches and a PBJ for my daughter, and then we had to remind them they still haven't gotten us our coffee.

I love the atmosphere, very very friendly and they make a great chai tea.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. We tried it for their vegan options and coffee. It's now a stop on all our trips through K-Falls. Love the music and big tables that promote conversations.

Local heath food & coffee served in a artsy docor retro building. Located in the heart of Klamath Falls.

Sandwiches were okay. Not spectacular, but the quiche was yummy. The cashier was nice.

Amazing Frittata, and the Mocha was perfection. We had never been, prior to this visit, but with the relaxed atmosphere, the community projects, and local art for sale, we are sure to be back. Thank you for a lovely morning!

The food here was amazing. There was live music and the lemonade was to die for.

This place is the kind of place I put my phone down. The staff and regulars are pleasantly talkative. I'll talk with them or just listen to them talking above the subtle music while sipping my delicious tea. The food is so good, I actually want to just pay attention to my palate.

It's a place I can slow down and just enjoy my morning.

Love the homemade bread! Great sandwiches. Yummy pesto. Amazing pastrami and sauerkraut! Indoor and outdoor seating. Located right downtown with lots of free, public parking.

It's a pretty good leap of taste and they have some good food but they're not best but I still recommend

My only complaint is that the customer service from one of the dudes who works there is consistently snarky and short. Kind of makes the experience uncomfortable. The rest of the cafe is great!

Good coffee and frittata, decent salad options and cute deli menu. Really fast internet makes it a great spot for getting some work done, staff are all friendly, decor is cozy and homey. Definitely recommend

This is a very cute cafe in downtown Klamath Falls. I have been here several of times to study as well as just for breakfast. The quiche they have is super good and is priced pretty fair. The coffee is good and also a good price point. Staff is friendly and funny, they are quick to produce your order

This is truly one of the Hidden gems in Klamath. This place has awesome flavor combinations. Great sandwich ideas that just absolutely complement each other and baked goods that are to-die-for, this place is a modern, Chic, and Ambiance centered restaurant. Been here multiple times, never had anything bad and staff has been more than friendly and helpful. I'll absolutely love this place.

Fresh sandwiches, beautiful salads and probably the best cold brew coffee I've ever had. Highly recommend for some tasty, nutrient rich food.

I feel awful, but I have to edit my review. Once upon a time Leap of Taste was one of my favorite places. I felt at home and comfortable here. Recently the vibe has been completely different and even the food is now lacking. I had to send my sandwich back because it was 90% bread. It feels like they have recently been cutting corners. Half the time the water hasn't been filled up or the dishes have completely piled up. Not sure what has changed but I don't feel like I'll be going back again.

Great lunch, soup, sandwich and cookies and a specialty tea, 18 bucks. Good value, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Leap of Taste is a great locally owned sandwich and coffee shop. Foodies will love the flavor combinations while the health conscious will find lots to choose from and they have great vegetarian and gluten free options. They also offer specialty cheeses and chocolates as well as organic bulk foods. The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic with large dining tables and couches.

We were in our way through town and, because of the high ratings, we thought we'd grab sandwiches here and enjoy them at a local park before getting back in the car.

We arrived at 12:45 on a Tuesday and placed our order for two sandwiches, a parfait, an iced latte, and an iced chai at 12:56. We didn't receive our order until 1:40. This wasn't due to an oversight - they were severely understaffed.

The sandwiches themselves were ok. Nothing amazing, but ok. I had a number four, but it didn't have sun-dried tomatoes as advertised. The chai was sickly sweet, without much flavor. The "side of fruit" was an eighth of an orange, and we didn't get the chocolate that the menu said came with our sandwiches.

We did get an extra sandwich, so that's a bonus. I don't know whether that means some other poor schmuck had to wait even longer for his order, but I guess you have to take what you can get.

Two of us had sandwiches and both were very good. If passing through again would definitely return.

Vegan, gluten-free, and local-type foods seem to be the specialty of Leap of Taste. However, I usually order more typical food-and it tastes great. Fresher than normal, the smoothies in particular taste better than the average ones. They give you a small piece of chocolate and a slice of fruit with your meal, and they also have awesome desserts. I ve heard others make specific requests because of some severe allergies and the staff were able to cater to the order. Not just food-they have cool handmade art for sale.

Great sandwiches, had the reuben panini. No table service. Not much to drink besides coffee stuff. Good location with outdoor seating.

Wonderful little Cafe with real local charm. Not just your average dinner. Wonderful sandwiches and baked goods. Eclectic people watching. Wonderful and helpful staff. Highly recommend a stop here when in town!

Cute shop, friendly staff. My iced chai with coconut milk was delicious, and the breakfast burrito was good too.

Amazing Staff & the healthy choices, the soups have been a tasty delight everytime!

Cute little place. Great stop for lunch. Had the pizza sandwich and it was very good. They have quite a bit of outdoor seating. We had our dog with us, so it was perfect in the nice weather.

Amazing food and drinks! Both healthy and tasty, with a beautiful, authentic atmosphere! We stopped by on our way to Mt. Hood, and were extremely pleased. The house-made kombucha and raspberry oatmeal bars were a special treat. If I could give more than five stars, I would!!! :)

Excellent pastries with lots of vegan or vegetarian options in that is what you prefer. Good sandwiches and pleasant live music. There is also kombucha teas for purchase. Overall a nice little coffee shop with good food and a nice atmosphere. Options to sit at tables counters or couches.
