A Leap of Taste Review

Sort of a "Starbucks" environment. I am having a Smoothie.

Always enjoy going here! Nice peaceful environment, really nice employees, excellent coffees & their farinatas are SO delicious! Asked for recipe & Liz kindly gave it to me & even explained how to do it! I highly recommend this place!

Would love to give this place 5 stars, as the atmosphere is darling, coffee is delicious and service excellent. However we also ordered quite a bit of food that was a little disappointing.

-#4 sandwich, missing sun dried tomatoes and just a little bland... if I feel like I can make an equally good or better sandwich at home then it s a fail.

-#3 roast beef sandwich, assumed it d be hot roast beef, just seemed like nice deli beef from the store and again felt similar to sandwich s I make at home (although we do make our own sourdough bread at home)

-caramel macchiato cheesecake, tasty but almost zero coffee flavor... which was 90% of the reason I wanted it

-strawberry/rhubarb oat bar, not bad, rhubarb desserts are usually my fave and this just didn t hit the spot.

Again, can t fault the service, we had a pumpkin iced latte which was one of the best I ve ever had and a delicious dark chocolate Truffle.

Will definitely be back next time we re in Klamath, to try more food but will probably pass the on sandos

I had the Mexican mocha and it was spicy, I think I might stick to regular mocha. But the cookies are awesome! Get the cookies!

Intermittent live music, casual atmosphere with quality food products...

a good standby. but needs to reduce the plastic usage for people eating in. delicious food and solid coffee

A nice place, but, DO NOT EAT HERE.
First, one small, really small, piece of chocolate cake made in a bundt style pan was $4.25, way overpriced and it certainly wasn't greattasting. My Rueban sandwich was $9.25, yes, over nine dollars, and it was sadly quite empty. Organic greens? What greens? I have posted a photo. One thin slice of meet you had to look for, some Swiss cheese you could only see on the sliced open edge of the sandwich, served on very soggy, dripping wet rye bread the menu claimed to be grilled...not. I had a coffee that tasted like cold hot chocolate, not at all good or good tasting, served up not even luke warm, most certainly not hot or coffee.
It tasted good, but completely miised the mark, especially at their quite high prices.
I am sorry, but the Leap was not for me, not even worth a second try.

OKay, update. Writing this bad review got me thrown out of the Klamath Falls FB group for food and eating out.

I love this place because I am allergic to gluten and milk and the service is amazing and this is why I give it five stars.

Huge tables, where friends and I studied for hours. Great atmosphere. Delicious food, vegan friendly! Amazing coffee, rich and strong. Great place with an amazing vibe, in the heart of downtown. Restroom for customers.

After a long road, I was already worried about having to stop at a fast food with my family, but we found this place and they had vegan options, vegetarians and gluten free, I had a lentil soup, a vegan burrito and an amazing coffee with vegan oatmeal cookies . The service is also really friendly and their ethic is on point !

I love fresh sandwich places with wonderful coffee option. Hometown favorite. Portabello sandwich and Mexican mocha two thumbs up.

I spent two years in Klamath Falls and went to Leap of Taste every chance I got. If you're looking for something other than meat and potatoes fare, this is a great alternate. I live in the Seattle area with all the restaurants you could wish for and still miss Leap. The quiche is made from scratch and is outstanding, get in early though, once it's gone for the day there's no more. The #4 and #5 sandwiches with turkey are great and don't short yourself a truffle for dessert. And if you happen to be in on a day when there's traditional or curry chicken salad take some home for lunch!

In my opinion. My favorite place for coffee in Oregon.

Best frittata. Best raspberry oat bar, and best of all couch and comfortable heating and warm and cozy

A spacious yet cozy little coffee cafe on a corner of Main Street permeating earthy vibes with its all natural and organic selection of local and homemade delectables. Every afternoon M-Sat features a different singer, some about as pleasant to listen to as Phoebe on Friends, but others have real talent that just makes you want to come by for a sweet escape from the mundane while sipping the best locally and fresh roasted coffee in the region. My favorite singer so far is Richard Johnson. Come by for a visit and relax with a tasty drink, listening to a coffee shop crooner and maybe even examine the interesting and creative artwork that decorates the walls. Cheers.

Interesting menu. Good selection of sandwiches and sides. I would go there again.

Interesting concept - coffee shop, deli, and natural foods store. Plus live music and a lending library. Local kombucha, bulk coffee and herbs. If I lived here I'd probably be a regular.

A quick stop over to grab some fuel for the road trip. A lovely place that's very local friendly, crafts generous sized sandwiches and evens pops in a slice to fruit and a chocolate. What a gem.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious and creative sandwiches, salads and desserts. Great place to hang out with good wifi and local musical talent every afternoon around 3pm.

Pita pit was really good. Really like the fresh veggies in my gyro.

I miss eating lunch here everyday since I've moved. I loved the relaxed vibe, the food, the serve and the music. So far since I moved to Washington I haven't found a place that comes close.

Wonderful open atmosphere with great service. The food is full of flavor and fresh. They have healthy options and tasty sweeter baked goods. The coffee is quality, and the servers are good at making specialty drinks.

Great vegan options! We got the soup and portobello sandwich with tempeh and "yumm sauce" and enjoyed every bite.

Food is unique and flavorful, sandwiches and quiche are full of flavor, some have a lot going on but they're balanced no flavor over powers another. Service is friendly and they seem excited about what they are serving

One of my favorite places to eat in Klamath falls. It's nice to have somewhere to eat that has all natural food and also cares about our environment.

I didn't have a chance to eat and try their food, however the environment of the place and the friendliness of the people was calming.

Even though it was lunch time, service was very good and we really enjoyed our meals. The curry soup was excellent with a nice amount of heat.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place has a good feel to it and I use the shop when I am in downtown Klamath Falls. Internet is fast and easy to connect to.

Its always a wonderful place to come eat..relax. Its actually my favorite place in all of Klamath.

Very good Chai and a great breakfast sandwich with eggs, ham, jam and a home made biscuit. Almost big about for 2.

Excellent coffee and service! Locals tell me it's the best in Klamath Falls.

Amazing chef's here at A Leap Of Taste! They serve just about anything. Vegan/Vegetarian friendly! I highly recommend their soup and sandwiches!! Love when they have live bands it's such a cozy heart warming feeling every time I'm in there.

The Leap of Taste is a wonderful place to go and relax. I have been going to the Leap of Taste for a little over two years. There has not been one time where I received poor service, nor has there been a time when I wasn t satisfied with my experience. When/If there is an issue with my order, those working are very understanding and ensure I end up happy. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the occasional performer. I attended their Leap day event on 02/29/2020. I had an amazing time! I hope that the Leap of Taste continues to participate more in the community. The owner is very kind and I am happy that they made their way here from LA. This is where y all are meant to be! Pouring/Serving happiness, one customer at a time.

I think it is awesome that leap of taste trains young students who are transitioning into adult hood. Who are just starting out in life. They have great food and coffee. Noce, casual environment.

Slow at cash register. Seemed like fewer food selections--soups and salads settled on vegetarian minestrone. OK but nothing great.

They serve an amazing quiche here! Also plenty of sandwich and salad selections. Don't forget to load up on caffeine! The coffee options are too many to list.

Chill vibe, delicious food, convenient Main Street location and a super friendly staff make this spot a wonderful place to kick back and read, write and meet old/new friends. Be sure to try the quiche although you can't go wrong with a recommendation from the staff.

One of the most delicious hazelnut lattes I've ever had. They have a small but flavorful menu with both veggie and vegan choices.

Great coffee I had an espresso and it was perfectly brewed nice raspberry oat coffee move bar happy staff adorable sitting area and outdoor patio. Worth a stop !

Good food, great coffee, diverse crowd. Focused on local organic ingredients, their quiche, breakfast burritos, and salads are great. The coffee is amazing, with a lot of variety. Stop by and enjoy the eclectic, warm atmosphere, you won't be disappointed!

If you're ever passing through klamath Falls area and want a nice home feeling place to stop off and have some great food and great coffee then this is the place to go.
