Great shop. You will find lots of high quality products. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Scotty did a repair for me and he was great at explaining things is plain English...oh, and he has a cool dog that hangs out at the shop. I will definitly return for all future repairs.

Just stopped by to research new bike offerings. Was visiting from out of town, couldn't buy a bike if I wanted to. But guys were gracious and well informed and nicely answered all my questions.

A&B Cycle has always been my favorite bike shop in the Springfield area. If you want quality bikes at an affordable price, this is the best place to look. The staff at A&B is very friendly and welcoming as soon as you go in the door, and the fact that they're so knowledgeable has provided me with peace of mind every single time I've purchased a bike from their shop.

I am able to perform regular maintenance on my road bike throughout the year but sure do appreciate occasional help from A&B! I'm impressed that their prices are so competitive on certain items (e.g A&B branded CamelBak water bottles). Keep up the great work!

I can t stay enough about the staff at A&B. I hear from my friends how their shop only does adjustments at certain times of the year and only once per year. They also have to leave their bike to be worked in. Even though I know it messes up their schedule, Cash and the rest of the mechanics always stop what they are doing to wait on me. The salesmen, Patrick, Roger & Bryant are top notch and know their stuff..

A&B has it all. These guys care about you and your bike. They have a pro staff for both sales and service and deserve a look before choosing another shop. Most people think of bikes as something you buy and never need to return to the store, A&B feels like a place I can feel comfortable coming back over and over again. There are other stores and I am certain that they probably offer great brands, but they certainly don't have the staff and commitment that A&B offers.

Bought a bike here 13 yrs ago, and I still love how smooth it is to ride. Their service shop seems very reasonable and helps us not to worry about our next adventure.

Even though the employee outside was working with another customer (I'm sorry I don't remember his name), he was very friendly and acknowledged me. He even took a second to answer a couple of questions while the other customer was testing his new bike, and told me he'd meet me inside when he was done. Inside I was greeted by a couple of employees and taken to the workshop for assistance with my daughter's bike. It's the bike my sister and I used when learning to ride over 30 years ago. The first employee came back shortly and looked the bike over. He looked it over said it was still in good shape to use, so he ordered new tires and training wheels for it. He did point out the fork was slightly bent (children abusing a bike, imagine that), but said for a child it should be an issue. Unfortunately the bike is old enough a new fork can't be ordered but recommended I look on E-bay if I really wanted to replace it, but it would be safe enough for my daughter.I got a call a few days later when they started working on the bike that the rear rim was bent and needed replaced. It was pretty bad, hidden by the flat tires on it before. When all was said and done my daughter has a great bike to ride and is very excited, and I had a great experience with the employees in the store. Even though I have the ability to do all of the repair and service work myself on the bike, time is something I don't have. I found the rates reasonable and I'll be back in for work on bikes in the future. Thanks for having a great store!

Customer service seems okay, the big disadvantage for me ever wanting to go there, I'm always trying to be upsold everytime i go in there. Its rather annoying! Their prices are a little on the high side compared to other bike shops in town. The staff always seems to stalk you out and just keep pushing at you,It would be nice to get greeted and just left to casually browse the store for other stuff I may need. Than just pushed out of the store.

I've been shopping at A&B for years. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I've made several good friends in my time going to A&B. I take my bike in every time I'm in town, the service is always prompt and of great quality. If you're in the market for a bike or just want a friendly experience, check them out.

Staff with GREAT personality and they are very knowledgeable about all kinds of bikes (bmx,mtb,road bikes) etc...... They are great my new regular bike shop i got a pro bmx brake set up for 47.00$ with them doing all the work included or i could of gone to an other bike shop and that would of cost me over 100$ so go to A&B Cycles

Staff was courteous and helpful. Inventory is a little low right now but they answered all my questions and showed me available options for the things I needed.

They do not do what they advertise they will. You can only trade in bikes the are not bought at a department store and all there bikes are way over priced. I would never buy a bike there.

They were helpful with what type and size of bike I needed and there prices are fair as well on the end I bought me a new bike....

The service at A&B Cycle is the best. They will do whatever they can to get you exactly the products that will work best for you. These guys know their stuff. I feel very comfortable going in and asking for their advice about different products even though I don't know all that much about cycling. I recently bought some cycling shoes. They helped me find the best shoe for me and adjusted it when I needed a small change on the clip. They are still working great for me!

I'm not from the area so when I was looking for a bike shop I stumbled across this one with high hopes due to its high ratings on google. However, they dropped the ball as far as my experience goes. On 6/8 I went to the store and spoke with Cash the bike technician about the shock on my bike. He said that all he needed was the required documentation (i.e. proof of purchase, warranty, etc.) which I provided that day so that he could send it to Fox to be fixed. Well, By 7/8 I still had yet to hear anything so I gave them a call and was told that the bike had just been sitting in the shop for a month with no maintenance because they were waiting on Fox to reach back out with the RA request. So...you're telling me a $6000 bike is just sitting there "waiting" for over a month and no one is following up with it? As soon as I got off the phone with them I called Fox and received this within minutes. Simple fix. Then he said to email it to him. Turns out their email doesn't work, yet another delay. Eventually the shock gets sent to Fox. On 7/21 I received an email from Fox with the shipping receipt. I called A&B to make sure they got it, they did, but again no one called to tell me this because I had to reach out to them for the 3rd time now. 7/22 I was sent a generic text message saying my bike was done - no call, no update, nothing. I went and picked up my bike not thinking they were going to charge me due to the hassle that I had to go through chasing every one around. Nope, they charged me $75 and no one even came up to me to address the situation. On the receipt it was highlighted that the shock needed to be setup when I got there. This wasn't done either. I was over the whole ordeal so I left as I know how to tune my own shock. ANYWAYS. Long story short, customer service is lacking, very little communication between service and client. I wouldn't go here if you have warranty issues with your bike. Try somewhere else.

Top notch, leading products and manufacturers on hand. Extremely knowledgeable and understanding staff that can get you on the right bike while being super empathetic to the customers desires, situations, & needs. The staff displays an example of what customer service should be.Even though I was on a budget, J. Barrett took the criteria I gave him and put me in exactly what I needed on a justifiable up-sell that made sense and possibly saved me frustration down the road by avoiding going with a cheaper, used option.I recommend A&B and they have earned themselves a dedicated customer for all my future biking needs.

The service department is knowledgeable and well equipped to service any type of bicycle whether it is basic or high end race bike. The staff has the experience to guide you to the right products that fit your budget and your riding style. If you haven't been in to the store be sure to check them out, you won't be disappointed.

They had what I was looking for. Very friendly and informative.

If your an avid cyclist and want a lasting product, I recommend spending the extra cash and going through this team. The staff are professional and many will go the extra mile to ensure you are well taken care of. If you by your cycle from them they will do lifetime adjustments and repairs for free that don't require new parts. At the end of the day, you can always buy a quality cycle from craigslist at a discounted price but you get what you pay for. I am not being payed to post this, have a good day.

Dalton punctually serviced my bike for a tuneup at a good price. Customer service was polite, knowledgeable, and pointed me in the right direction. When I picked up my bike a few days later I was very satisfied with how it rode, and handled. 10/10 recommend.

Took a few bikes there to get tuned up and some minor things and got them back and they weren't touched at all except for the new parts I had them put on. Pay $300 for a tune up on 2 bikes and some extra stuff and one of the items they put on fell off.. Seems they either don't care to fix bikes that aren't top of the line or just rush through their jobs and care more about the dollar than the service

It has the very best brands and professional sales people that bend over backwards to get you on the right bike for the right price with the very best service. The best part about this shop is the friendly atmosphere. They cater to everyone from families looking to ride the greenway trails to racers looking to conquer the top events. Additionally, for people new to cycling, they offer free maintenance classes so that you never get stuck on the trail unprepared. Recently, they have also added free spin classes through the winter months so you never have an excuse to stop riding.

Just bought 2 kids bikes today but have had excellent history with A&B. Great service again today with knowledgable staff. Laid back but efficient! Made it so easy.

A&B Cycle has been the place for me to go for over 15 years. Great customer service, friendly staff and very knowledgeable in all fields of riding. They will work on your road, mountain, tandem or recumbent bike. They do it all.

I took my bike in for small repair. The guy helping me wanted to upsell the repair,told him no just fix the issue at hand. After I left the shop he kept calling saying this and that was wrong and had to pay freight on a part,basically he wanted to sell what he had in stock and was going to try and get over on me I had a bad feeling about it and picked up my bike. He charged 20 and handed me a bag with all my parts I went to sunshine bike shop the part was half price labor was 20.00 not 45.00 the guy at counter didn't talk down to me and most important he fixed my bike.

Had my Trek serviced here a couple of times and they have always done a great job on the tune up and recommendations on small ticket items. Sometimes a little difficult to get one of the sales reps as they only have one or two out anytime I have been there. So if you see more than a few cars our front, you need to bring a little patience in the front door.

Got my new Trek bike and bike rack. I'm super happy. Thank you Patrick, you were great to work with. Go in and see him.
