A&A Services did an amazing job on kitchen windows I had installed last year and just had them do a front door and frame this week. Their craftsmanship cannot be beat. I find their employees very knowledgeable in all aspects of carpentry. You will not be disappointed! This is why they ve been around so long as their work is of the highest quality, in my opinion. We just finished our windows and siding project with the teams from A&A. From start to finish the people we worked with were professional and understanding of everything we wanted to do. We worked with Ed Burge who i can't recommend enough. Before Ed came in we had a couple of other contractors/companies come through to give us quotes, one of them being a national brand who tried to get us to sign on the spot. When Ed first came to the house he and Matt sat with me (and my 2yo daughter) and listened to what we wanted to be done (we were looking for full reconstruction of our 30+ year windows). Ed explained to me the advantages to doing it this way, and told me that given the assumed age of the windows it was a good call (the other non-national brand was hell bent on not doing this for us). Ed returned a little less than a week later to go over quotes with both my wife and I and show us the windows (vanguard) that A&A installs and explain the differences in the siding that they use. As a huge bonus for us, Ed was incredibly patient as we worked through making our decision on this project, it took us a little bit longer to make our decision that we had originally anticipated.
Both installation teams (windows and siding) were professional, approachable (which for me was HUGE), clean, and as a bonus worked fast. Throughout the process I was able to touch base with the crew, or Ed who was at our house almost daily while the installations who were at our house to make sure that they knew if we were not going to be home. Having small kids in the house through the windows i was worried would be a hassle, but Scott and Jose both helped to make sure that our daily lives were as minimally effected as possible. Elias and the siding team were outstanding as well, they arrived earlier than anticipated, and were able to start work without their large dumpster. They left our yard just as clean as it had been when they started, which i can only imagine wasn't an easy feat with them removing old cedar shingles.
By the end of our project our house is now one of the nicest on our street, and we couldn't be happier with the end result (if . We are looking forward to no more drafty windows this winter. We certainly would recommend working with A&A, and most definitely would for future projects on our house!
Could not be more pleased with the service we received from A&A! From the time we received our estimate until completion, everyone we encountered was professional, personable and knowledgeable. Ed made sure we understood every step of the process. Turnaround time was very quick. All work was completed in one day, with cleanup concluded the next. Very much appreciated how everyone was masked and observed social distancing. Great quality work and very enjoyable folks to be around. Highly recommend!
Thinking about new windows, sure you can buy windows anywhere, but look at the whole picture. With A&A service you will get a quality product with staff that take care in putting them in the new windows, in old house. Working in a very neat manner and making the place cleaner than it was found in. This is not my first project and will not be my last. Also they stand behind their work and a real person will return your phone call in a timely manner.
We had our entire house resided, window and door trim replaced, and gutters replaced. The aluminum and underlying clapboard siding had to be removed. We replaced the old wood trim with PVC and went with cedar shingles for the siding. There were some hiccups as you can imagine with a project this size. My phone calls were always returned in a timely manner. There were a few things broken during the demolition portion of the job that A & A fixed without any questions or hassles. There were times during the project where we had to go in different directions then planned. Sean, our project manager, would always listen intently to what I had to say. We went with his professional recommendations a few times and he was very open to our opinions. Sean was awesome to work with and did a great job communicating, which you unfortunately don t always get in the construction world. A & A also lives up to their warranties. We had a leak in our ceiling a few months after the project was completed that we had never experienced before. A &A came out once again and found and repaired a small rip in one of our rubber roofs. The people we worked with are fantastic and would recommend them to anybody. Best of luck on your future house projects.
Over the years, A&A Services has completed multiple projects at my home. The most recent was the installation of a custom exterior door. From the quoting appointment through installation, the process was easy, straight-forward, and swift. The job started on time and was completed in one day. The work area was left spotless. Best of all, the door looks beautiful; a huge improvement to the exterior of my home. The entire A&A team is wonderful to work with and I will surely call on them again!
We are very appreciative of A&A s willingness to take on a smaller project for us which included partial renovation to our back deck and repair/replacement of our house corner boards which had been significantly damaged by a couple of very determined woodpeckers. Ed Burge was informative and thorough in his explanations our options and recommendations for resolution. A&A Services is the best!! We just had our storm windows and part of our siding replaced due to storm damage. The team from A&A replaced the siding and the storm windows, they did a fantastic job!! I am so happy the way it turned out. It was less than 2 days for the installation and one day to drop off materials and prep work. There was a supervisor on site the entire time and clearly explained the process and answered all my questions. Matt, Sean, Dave our A&A Representatives, has been with us through the projects and there are never any worries or concerns. Their process from initial contact through quoting, contract, explanation, preparation, installation, and cleanup is flawless throughout. After several tries to get estimates, A&A services were prompt to return my first inquiry. Followed by a phone call, 2 days later. Followed by appointment the following week for an estimate. Ed answered all our questions. The date was set to start, then to our surprise & delight, they started a week early! Ed was in contact to inform us when the dumpster was coming, and materials, on time!
Crew cleaned up daily, we needed the yard for the dog. Only a few issues came up, Ed was called it was resolved. Happy to finish the project. Absolutely delighted with the results. These guys work hard and do a fantastic job!
