Such a wonderful addition to the Austin restaurant scene. An intimate setting, excellent wine list and great food. If you need to take a break waiting for Mopac traffic to clear, this is a perfect spot to sneak away.

Love the wine list, decor, service, menu, parking and staff! Thank your for having all my favorite things!! Found my favorite lunch spot! Nothing better than a cheese board paired with Frogs Leap Chardonnay and Salmon Salads!!

The food and service here are absolutely phenomenal! It was so hard to just pick a few items because everything looked and sounded amazing! Highly recommend for your next Italian meal in Austin.

If you like "new" takes on classic cuisine this is your place. I'm not sure if it's an Austin hipster thing, but it's definitely not classic Italian and it is overpriced. The next day I get a notification from Open Table stating that we didn't honor our reservation?

We love Andiamo in Santa Fe and were excited to see they are sister restaurants. Our group ate at 68 degrees for my sister's bachelorette weekend and had an amazing time. The service was great and everyone loved the food. Thanks for a great evening!

We ordered the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon, with caprese salad and the Cesar salad to go. The caprese salad was 70% large tomato wedges with a couple small slices of mozzarella; Cesar salad wasn't cut up at all; and the chicken parmesan sauce tasted like it was from a can. Beautiful ambiance inside, but definitely not worth $60.

We went before Thanksgiving so maybe that's why it was meh?
We got the fettichini with mushrooms and added chicken. It was underseasoned but with healthy portions.
Also got mixed green salad that was ok as well.

We tried the bolonese and the ravioli and had the same underseasoned issues.

The thing that shined was the polenta appetizer. It was crispy and flavorful with a great sauce.

I'd try this place one more time but it's on probation.

Glad there is another restaurant in our neighborhood! I really like the atmosphere with the outside and inside dining options. The food is good, but too salty for me. We ordered the polenta, which was great and two pasta dishes that were pretty good. The linguini with tuna and the penne with sausage. The linguini was very fishy tasting, but still very good. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the salt hangover I had for 2 days after.

68 degrees kitchen has that homey feel to it and they go the extra mile to take care of their customers, feels like how it should feel when doing business with locals. Oh and btw the food was great with awesome prices. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family when looking for a place to eat.

Great atmosphere, good food and wine. Service was quite slow but we weren't in a hurry. Server said they don't have any management there which can create chaos when they run into a problem, which I guess happened the night we were there. Don't really understand why they wouldn't have a manager and the server said it sure would be helpful if they did.

Good food in a cozy location. Front desk staff is professional with reservations and etc. Food is brought out fairly quickly. The prices make it difficult for me to eat here often but it is a good place for special occasions.

My experience at 68 Degrees Kitchen was horrendous. I dinned with a large party, was given the wrong order. Waitress gave me a smirk when I informed her of the incorrect dish; she proceeded to bring out the correct dish suspiciously fast. The chicken that I attempted to eat was under-cooked and quite frankly, disgusting.

After the completion of our meal, the waitress looked at me and asked "what's wrong", I told her that my chicken was under-cooked and tasted poor, she replied with an unemphatic "sorry" and took my dish away.

Furthermore, the waitress forced our party to divie up our own check, calculating who ordered what dish (we were a large group, completely inappropriate). I am astonished at our porous treatment at 68 Degrees and cannot fathom that I spent 16 dollars on a meal I could not eat.

The management made no attempt to remedy our experience. I will recommend friends and family to avoid this establishment.

Had dinner last night with another couple. Atmosphere casual, relaxed and friendly. We all enjoyed our food immensely. I had a lasagna special which was delicious,. My husband had the Bolognese and loved it. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Hope to go back soon.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant a refreshing break from the corporate chains that tend to dominate the Austin restaurant landscape. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent.

The food was good, but the service was bizarre. Among other things, a few of us received plates with side items missing and were told that the chef was unable to make our side items due to a backup in the kitchen. Seriously? That's unacceptable after your order has been confirmed. I do not plan to go back.

Really a bummer... Tried to seat us at 6:30 by a wall with a fire extinguisher . Restaurant was 95% empty. The staff managed to seat a very young couple at that terrible table shortly there after. As the menu goes ..no Chardonnay .. No margarita pizza as advertised . The calamari was tough as leather...really as bad as I have ever had . The ravioli was in a tomato sauce out of a can at Randalls . The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive . ...if you're trying to be successful go visit the Grove and learn from their menu , food and wine list.

Not sure if Mother's Day was an exception but we had a 7:30 reservation for 4 and had to wait even though we showed up early. Another party of 3 showed up before us with a 7:30 reservation and was seated immediately. I over heard the host blaming the seating/reservation system. There was another party of 4 with in the same situation so the staff put together a table. It was basically packing a party of 4 in a 2 person setting. Neither party was pleased with sitting at a small table while starring at the outside table uncomfortably. They need to get it together... not sure if it's worth another attempt.

The veal was tough and the marsala had no flavor. The calamari puttanesca had no flavor and the squid was cold. Everthing needed salt and pepper and even that didn't help much. The only saving grace was the waitress who was very nice.

Great food, wine and and appetizers...The friendly hostess Naomi and waiter Luke will keep you coming back with their friendliness and love of what they do. I feel that this place is another hidden gem with cozy atmosphere with classic content. I will definitely come again and would recommend this establishment if you hungry and thirsty for Italian dining.

We had a larger party (12 ppl) but still waited about 1.5 hours for our food. I ordered the Mac and cheese balls and only got 5 out of the 7 I was supposed to get and they were still cold inside and desperately needed seasoning. They were nice enough to give it to us for free but the rest our food also needed a lot of seasoning. I wouldn t come here again.

Great service, friendly staff, and small but very satisfying menu flexibility!

and (removed) parmesan cheese. The rest of their menu a bit hard to be flex-able with but a few of their salads can also be converted. Their bread appetizer is also vegan. The meal was delightful! I hope to see in the future more flexibility towards meatless and dairy free options, as they would most certainly expand their their market base!

Reserved table through Open Table App ... Arrived on time .. Table was ready .. very nice cozy 2 person table next to another another 2 people table ... atmosphere felt like small restaurants in Europe. Menu was very clear, not long but very good selection. Great appetizers, Pasta, Salads, Soups, Fish, Meat. Just right amount to not spend 15 minutes choosing ... Food was delicious, ingredients very fresh and very tasty ..

Service and food is excellent. Lunch portion can be a little light if you are really hungry but that seems to be a trend everywhere in Austin and it's a minor thing here so I would still give it 5 of 5 stars.

Last night, my family and I (11 people) went to 68 Degrees Kitchen and we LOVED it! The food was outstanding. The Fettucine with Portabella and Crimini Mushrooms was awesome. The Mac and Cheese Balls were definitely a favorite at our table. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Luke was excellent. He catered to our needs with no problem. Everyone loved his presence and did a great job. We all enjoyed it very much, and plan to go again.

Polenta was definitely the best. Everything was delicious and came promptly and hot. Calamari was fantastic. Large portions with enough to share. Can't wait till the pizza oven is up and running.

A wonderful place! We reserved for a group of seven and had a nice inside spot. A very intimate place with nice, soft lighting and wonderful, friendly staff. A good place to enjoy handmade pastas and great wine selection.
