We are glad this historic restaurant is still open. I have been here many times when I was 20's. Now I am 40's and brings my own children here. I love most of menu here and atmosphere here.

Amazing place to take the family. Watching the planes land and take off surrounded by an authentic WW2 building. Along with pictures and other memorabilia rounds out an excellent experience.

Excellent service and good food. The decor, wall and building, is what draws you in. They use a Green Egg for most of their meats and you can taste the difference. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and catch flights right next to the runway.

The service was really good, food seasoned well, and watching the planes fly in and out was a lot of fun. The atmosphere was really nice. There was even a dance floor to with music for all genres. Thank you so much for a place I could bring my family or just have date night with my hubby.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. It had been since 1994 when I was here last time and it has undergone a new owner and new life, thank goodness.
We had arrived about an hour early so we went and hung out at the bar. The bartender, Robert, was very nice. He was attentive, made great drinks and he knew when to give us space. The appetizers were wonderful and a decent serving.
Once the main dining room was open, we headed there. The only thing I would change if it was my restaurant is this, if someone tells your hostess that it is their anniversary, it would be a nice touch if she tried to find them a more private, possibly romantic table. Please don't sit us down right next to a large family, with kids, who are celebrating a birthday. Especially, when it's a Sunday evening and there wasn't anyone really there yet.
Otherwise, it was perfect. The food was amazing! The prime rib was perfect and their asparagus was absolutely salivating. Our dinner waiter, was attentive and very classy.
The atmosphere alone is worth a trip.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Always one of my favorite places to come have lunch or a happy hour. Patio living all night long with the runway right next to the patio. Sit and watch the planes take off and land, enjoy a cold drink, and if it's cold, enjoy the fires.

My food was fine. My wife ordered a well done steak ans it came to the table medium. Was sent back and returned medium again. She could not eat it. Brought home to finish cooking and enjoy. Drinks and dancing was fun.

The food was good and the service was great until the hostess rudely interrupted us and apparently was ready to have us leave so she could have our table. It left a bad taste in an otherwise pleasant experience.

This restaurant is an Atlanta icon in the place to be for Sunday brunch. If you've never been, you must go at least once. It's a rite of passage if you live in Atlanta or are visiting. Great Buffet for Sunday brunch!

Let me start by saying I love the 57th and have been going here since it opened. Our last trip was rather disappointing, I ordered a ribeye steak ($28) but was served a NY Strip ($27) that was bland and lifeless. Annoyingly I was charged for the ribeye. Oh well, $1, the collard greens were really good so I didn't say anything. The worst part was the appetizer, we ordered the pimento cheese trio ($10) and it was excellent until we asked for extra crackers (which seemed reasonable considering they only gave us 10). We were told they would cost extra?!?! $4 extra. I could buy two boxes for that price... Needless to say we declined. The service was very good and I don't fault our waiter, I just can't fathom how such a good restaurant can nickel and dime its customers like that and serve food worth half the price. It will be a while before we visit again...

Love this place! One of two spots to watch planes take off and land with food and drink directly on pdk. So far I found the food to be quite good and the staff to be quite friendly. It's a very large restaurant (larger than you'd probably expect after your first visit if you didn't explore the place) attend to find myself usually going to the bar area or outside area to the far left when you walk in the door on most of my visits.

This is my bar of choice. I love coming here. I have not "dined in" yet so I could not speak to food quality but it's a fun place. I would love to go on a guided tour and get into the history. A very unique, hidden joint. I've met nice people here. Chuck and Bill are great.

We came here for the DJ. I assumed they had rock and roll dance music and salsa. The food is okay. However the view of the jets taking off and landing sets the tone. The restaurant is different. Looks like an abandoned army bunker. We enjoyed ourselves. The staff is awesome. Our waitress was attentive. My husband ate the trout stuffed with shrimp and mash potatoes. I got the salmon with grits and cheese. The food was basic. We ate crab spinach dip. The drinks were good.

Have been coming to this restaurant for quite a few years. Unfortunately today was not a good experience. They don't offer an alternate menu for someone on a diet during their $29 brunch, you have to eat brunch at $29. Regular menu not available until 3pm, too pricey for the food offered, if you get there between 2pm and 3pm the desserts are very limited and out of stock, it was very hot inside with very little AC, the bathrooms were not working, no toilet paper in one of the working restrooms at 1:30-3pm (early part of day - not prepared for customers). Very disappointed and will not make this a choice for dining in the future..Its very sad with all they have to offer and the history...Someone needs to take notice
