I am new to the area and was looking for a bakery for a birthday cake. I ordered a simple 8 with lace and flowers. I was unable to make edits 2 days prior to pickup(hence the 4 stars) HOWEVER.....the neat design, freshness and delicious flavor of the cake made up for the edit refusal!!! I will definely use them for ALL OF MY DESERT NEEDS!!! I recommend trying the pound cake and other cake of the day flavors as well. They won t disappoint.

Im very disappointed. The cake did taste good. However I ask the cake designer to create me a one of a kind cake from her imagination. I did not want a cake that i had seen before, when the baker asked what i wanted or didn't want. I just saw a picture where she gave someone my identical cake. I paid $250 for the one teird baby Shark cake. She charged the other peson $300 for a two teired cake. If i wanted a mocked cake i would have gone to the market and paid $40 for a cake. Im very upset.

The cake is amazingly delicious especially the strawberry flavor! Reasonable pricing for such beautiful design. Excellent customer service from employees patiently working with me through my many ideas to the owner discussing pricing and design in person and promptly responding via email. 4 every occasion cakes and cupcakes is phenomenal overall!

I had such a great experience getting a birthday cake from this bakery. The cake was both beautiful and delicious, and a very reasonable price, but unfortunately I was so excited to cut into it that I didn't take any pictures! Ordering and pick-up were easy. I just want to say best experience I ve had with a cake shop. I was lucky they took my order last minute, staff was super nice. Also, the cake they made for my son was beyond my expectations. No issues at all from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

I have ordered specialty cakes on two occasions. I was beyond floored with how great both cakes turned out. Not only was the cake aesthetically pleasing but it tasted so good. Although I only got plain vanilla, it was better than your average. The cake itself was moist and the fondant was good as well. I also love how great the colored icing tasted and didn't have a nasty after taste as a lot of colored icing can have. All I can say is you have a customer for life and customer service was just as good as the cake!

Best Bakery in Philly hands down!! I have ordered my daughter Amaya's birthday cakes from 4 Every Ocassion Cakes & Cupcakes since her 4th birthday and she is now turning 8 years old on Sept 15th. Anitria the owner is so pleasant and personable all of the time has never been a cake design I have brought to her that she couldn't replicate exactly. The cakes look just as amazing as they taste oh and every treat is entirely edible no cardboard is used. These sweet treats are worth every penny! Make sure you all get down to 4 Every Occassion Cakes and Cupcakes and support this black owned business you will never ever be disappointed!

My family harassed me for weeks to get another one of their 'pistachio cakes' with the sweet potato cupcake being my personal favorite!!!

I brought a slice of the 7-up cake, and i was so disappointed, it was so dry and it was not good at all, it taste like cornbread. i had to throw it away.Very disappoint.

I love this bakery. My personal experiences have been fantabulous. The owner will step in and make sure my order is done with excellent and that I received my otder on time. She has even offered to deliver it to me....that s excellent customer service and shows integrity. Anitria keep doing what you do in excellent and God will continue to grow your business.

This bakery is everything. I live in Harrisburg and was having a baby shower in Philly for my best friend. So I was nervous about ordering the cake from a bakery I never had cake from. However, I went in and the customer service was amazing. They were able to pull up my emails from us communicating and process my order without issues. The actual cake was exactly what I was looking for and everyone at the shower loved it. The cake was still moist and delicious (everyone came up for seconds). Thanks so much 4 Every Ocassions. As a self proclaimed foodie, I will travel for food. I come here usually for her red velvet cheesecake; but recently a banana pudding cake was added to the list of delicious cakes. I came from Delaware county to try it and it was worth the 50min drive. The pudding is just right, and the cake itself is light and fluffy!!!. And if you need a customized cake, there is no design that can't be done. These cakes are worth every penny!!

I came into the bakery completely unfamiliar with specialty cakes and their pricing or contents . I was briefly educated on fondant and buttercream icing and which look would be best for the cake I desired . Brandi helped me with my order and made sure all the details of the cake was encompassed on my order form so it would be clear what I wanted . She read over the order form with me and made suggestions on flavors and final decorations . ( I was so confused, I wanted a little but if everything lol ) The cake was an tremendous hit at my husbands 40th birthday party and I couldn t have been more pleased. I will definitely be using this bakery again in the future !

Beautiful fondant cakes that also taste delicious! Over the past couple years I ve purchased several expensive fondant cakes from various bakeries and freelance bakers. They ve always looked great but have tasted dry, or relatively underwhelming for the price. Then after a friend s recommendation I decided to try 4 Every Occasion Cakes & Cupcakes. EVERYONE loved the cake! I even received calls and texts after the event asking where I bought it. Moist, flavorful, and beautiful!! It was the vanilla flavored cake. You wont be disappointed. Oh and the other fancy cakes I saw when I was picking my cake up were works of art. Bring your imagination and pictures, she will not disappoint!

They made both my children cakes/cupcake and I must say nothing short of AMAZING. They have been BLESSED with this amazing gift to create edible masterpieces. This is my 2nd year ordering a cake and I can t imagine going anywhere else. Hands down the best bakery around. The presentation, the taste, and the pleasant people.

We were going to order our cake a month early, she told us to wait and schedule our cakes 2 weeks before event after hearing what the date was. We waited until it was 2 weeks before the event the order just for her to say they will be closed. We waited a month just for her to say they will be closed, now it will be trouble finding a cake person that will be available with this amount of time left for my sisters baby shower

They spelled the name on my birthday cake INCORRECTLY even with having the correct spelling on their receipt! No one has yet to contact me despite my many attempts to reach them. I do not recommend this place.

I have purchased 2 cakes from this black owned establishment and they were both amazing! They were done fast, the staff was very helpful in bringing my vision to life, and the taste of the cake is delicious! I hate fondant but her cakes are the FIRST cakes that I have had where the fondant doesn t make the cake taste nasty. LOVE LOVE LOVE 4 every cake occasions ill be back for more.

I love this bakery! I get all kinds of treats from cupcakes, cookies (the lemon cookies are to die for), strawberry shortcake, pistachio cake (so so good). This place will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth!

This cake is so bomb!!!! They always nail each design accurately for me! This is our 3rd time using them for my daughters themed parties and we also ordered gender reveal cupcakes that were soooo good! Customer service is so gracious. Clean and neat business and BLACK OWNED! I will use them for anything! They definitely live up to the name! Everybody keeps asking where the cake come from! I sent them ya way! THANK YOU!

I came in to get a last minute cake and was so happy they had them. The cake was not overly sweet and the butter cream was amazing! I asked if they could make it with confetti and they did! So happy to have found this place and can t wait to do future business with them!

OMG!!! Where do I start..
This bakery is AMAZING! The Banana pudding cake is to die for and their attention to detail is unmatched. I know of alot of bakeries where the cake is just pretty but it doesnt taste good, well not with 4 Every Occasion Bakery...the cakes are Beautiful as well as moist and DELICIOUS. Any cake I ever need for any occasion this will be my go to bakery from now on. I dont care if I move to Texas... they will just have to ship it

I had the absolute best experience with the wonderful ladies at 4 Every Occasion. It was my first time getting a custom cake and of course my son wanted a LEGO one. I presented a picture of what I wanted and wouldn t you know, his cake looked even better than the initial picture. The entire cake was edible and the LEGO bricks were made of chocolate. The fondant taste great...and the cake....My Lawd... it was divine. It was both chocolate and vanilla - alternating tiers. The cake was moist and packed with flavor. The buttercream on the inside melted right in my mouth. I even had a small bit left over. It survived quite well, wrapped up in the fridge, and totally maintained its moisture. Ms. Anitria has some kind of miracle in those fingertips of hers and yes, I will be back! Do yourself a favor and visit...TODAY. Did I mention they have these lemon cookies that are to die for too? And a pound cake that makes you want to reach out and touch somebody! I love this bakery and I am so thankful that they were a big part in making my baby s birthday extra special. It was so cute listening to the kids request their cake slices, I ll have a slice of vanilla and two chocolate bricks please! LOL #ForeverMemories Thank you ladies!

The worst....the absolute worse....order some stuff from her for my daughter's birthday party and was grossly overcharged and when I finally realized it (not even a full 24 hrs after deposit) I went back to get a refund of my money (because I full paid)....the counter person was lovely conveying the messages back and forth between me and the owner but THE OWNER attitude towards me was unacceptable...our entire conversation she spoke over me and barely let me get a word in and was very condescending....it actually brung me to tears speaking with her because I did not at all come off rude or irrigate just expressing how I felt overcharged NEVER GO HERE! Oh and the kids said their cookies taste like eggs (which I paid $5/cookie) and the cupcakes were dry so a waste of $223

This bakery has been in the northeast area for five years now, and their business is expanding. The cakes are phenomenal, the freshness and flavor are as good as it gets. You can give them an idea and they will make your cake come true.. They are proud of their product and they will always make sure you are happy with your final design. Good experience, higly recommended!

The place is beautiful, also the customer services was good.. Just left their like 10 minutes ago craving cupcakes when I get home to dig right in.. Disappointed there cupcakes taste like they have been sitting for day. Wasn't good at all. Will never go back there again won't suggested to any of my family or friend..

It s been three years in a row that I purchase a cake here for my sons birthday. Everybody LOVED it! I got vanilla and strawberry and they re both super moist and just taste amazing Worth every single PENNY! The details and design on the cake are just perfect my son was obsessed. Birthdays happen only once a year so I don t mind spending the bucks here because this cake is truly made with love. Now that I have my daughter I get to enjoy her cakes twice a year (since I live pretty far from the shop lol)

I've had their cake before and it was simply delicious. Yesterday I ordered a cake for my son's 18th bday. My total was $150 (for what he wanted), however after much thought we decided to just get the regular (no fancy stuff) so I called and asked if I could possibly change the style or flavor of the cake to lower the price, mind you I put half of the deposit down. I was told that since the price was already in the system, it couldn't be adjusted. I repeated that I did not want a refund, only to lower the price, and was told that I would receive a refund, and could purchase a cake from somewhere else. What kind of business is that?! I was not scheduled to pick up the cake until next week, (10 days) from the day I placed my order. I didn't realize it was that hard to adjust the price in the system, especially for an order that was placed over a week in advance. You would rather lose my business, then to adjust the price. So much for supporting our people, especially during Black History Month. Needless to say, I will not be supporting them again.

The 2nd year in a row I ordered my daughter's birthday cake and you guys did not disappoint. Thank u so much

This place is a gem! I ve been wanting to visit this place for months. When I finally did I purchased four different slices of cake. The pistachio and rum cake are my favorites. My only issue is that the listed hours have them closing at 5pm. Its 3pm and they are closed. For that I must subtract a star.

The cupcakes were amazing !! Try the salted Carmel cupcakes it's sprinkled with pretzels. Delicious. I also had a cake made from a pic. The owner did an excellent job the cake was delicious and the butter cream icing OMG!!!!

I was researching for a bakery that did specialty cakes and wasn't impressed by the other bakery everyone else was referring (no bus throwing so name will be mentioned) which I've tried before. I came across this business and was equally impressed by the back story and the entrepreneur is an Nubian Queen, sooo I was like "oh most definitely will try". The cake was aesthetically pleasing and equally scrumptious. I am not a big fan of cake because I usually find cake too dry and icing too sweet but this cake was the perfect balance. The owner even called me prior to the pick up time to ask if she could "jazz" the cake up a bit more by adding the silver dots you see. I said "jazz" away and that was something she did not have to do but that was something only a true artist would do and was much appreciated. I asked those attending before I had a chance to try the cake, how it was and that I needed an honest answer because I wanted to know if I should use the business again and everyone said the cake was delicious. So, there you have it from now on for every occasion you have my business ( you see what i did there...haha) Thank you and job well done!
