3rd Base Bar & Grill Review

It had been awhile since I had last eaten here. I forgot how good the food was and the prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely be returning.

Great food, service, and management. Ended up winning free food on my first visit. While there, I apparently left behind an important document. Management took the time to track me down at work to try to get this document back to me. I'm very appreciative! Great place.

Travelled from Canada for training with thermco. restaurant is cozy and well staffed. never waited longer than 3 minutes for a pint. was so impressed the first time, i came back for a second round. bartender was proffesional and courteous. food was delish, burger first night was cooked perfectly, wings were great second night definately try the daytona style. french onion soup presentation left a little to be desired but.flavour overall was on point. thanks for the great dinners guys.

Food was good, prices were terrific for portion size ( which was huge), service was fast and attentive. Will definitely be going back.

We were in LaPorte for the weekend and just stopped at 3rd Base Bar for a couple drinks and appetizers. The place is great. Awesome staff, welcoming atmosphere, prices were good, appetizers tasted great. We wish we had this place close to our home, but will stop in again next year when we come to LaPorte.

Stopped in for some beers and a nice outdoor seat in the sun. Cute place, will return!

Food was great, portions were just right. No left overs

Had lunch there yesterday. The staff was friendly and attentive, menu prices were very reasonable, and the place was clean. Not real busy as it was off hours, and we sat inside due to rain. The food was delicious with a couple minor exceptions...the marinara was ice cold(like right out of the refrigerator), and the "texas toast" on my sandwich was actually thin sliced sandwich bread. I didnt let that ruin the experience, and will definitely be back there again sometime in the future.

This is a little local dive bar with typical bar food. It seemed to be more of a local hangout, so we didn't feel 100% welcome, but maybe it was just one of those days.

This restaurant is first-rate and spacious, the meals was enchanting and the prices were very affordable. rapidly, effective service and very personal waiters. Highly recommended.

Good food..decent beer selection...could use a little more room...nice outside area to hang out in.

Service is hit or miss but great little place for fantastic food and drink.

Loaded chips are the best and the drinks are always spot on.

Philly Steak sandwich and cream cheese poppers were very good. Staff was great especially Heather the bartender. Fun clientele.

I admire this venue very much. It has a very nice mood. The meals are wonderful. the service is effective and the stuff is very professional. The pay is fair. very much recommend.

The service was good but the food was not too good. I had the rib eye steak sandwich which comes on a round bun. My wife had the Cuban sandwich. It was just okay. Definitely not authentic but somewhat similar taste. The cajun fries were terrible. I left most of them. The cost for two was about $23 including soft drinks. On the bright side you do get a nice view of Pine Lake from the restaurant which includes some outside seating. I had to change my review from three stars to one when I saw my credit card statement. I was charged an additional $7 above the amount shown on my receipt. I left a $5 cash tip which was about a 22% gratuity. Seriously folks I would avoid this place altogether.

Over priced food for what your getting, drinks are good, the place needs freshened up.

Great food at a very reasonable price. Wonderful atmosphere. Just wish the bar room was a little bigger because it was a little congested.

Always good! We went there on St. Patrick s Day for corn beef and cabbage it was excellent! Watch for their daily specials.....

This is solely based on the wings and the service. Both were fantastic, great choice for lunch and will be back.

It was okay. Ordered a 1/2 pound burger which was pretty good. The fries weren't that great. Kinda hard and wasn't that warm. Only two small tables for families. Being a bar and grill I guess that's what you would expect anyways.

First visit and would come again. Had the fish and was awesome. Great thin breading. Chicken wings were huge and good as well. Nice size servings and very good.

Carry out patty melts. Excellent food! Mixed drinks not so much. Sssssssmall! No shots glasses. No fun.

The waffle fries were good, and the place had friendly service. The seating was limited for groups with a younger crowd, and I wouldn't recommend stopping with kids. Though there was a kid's menu.

The WORST most disgusting food I've ever had! The burgers were ordered medium and were burnt... I mean CRISPY! Fries should have come with a warning caution will break teeth! You could taste the nasty grill on the burgers... and to top it all the toilets don't flush and sink doesn't drain. I won't ever return and I will make sure EVERYONE I come into contact with knows. (I see 300+ people a day in my position). Word to the wise go somewhere else!

Very welcoming! Huge selection of spirits and Food. Ingredients seemed very fresh! Great little Bar!
