3rd Base Bar & Grill Review

It was good. I had the Wahoo burger. Visited 7/18/18

Excellent food, and service and has been for at least 5 years

Really, really friendly service and a great beer selection (17 taps). Good food, too. If you're in the area, stop by, you'll love this place.

When you've been to second base the only place left to go is....

Passing through town and got a room at the new Hilton next door. Decided to walk over here for a beer and bite to eat. I wasn t disappointed at all. Food and beer was delicious and atmosphere was awesome!

The beer selection is lacking otherwise 5 stars. The food and service is awesome. I love this place.

Eat here all the time. It is the best sportsbar in the area. Great food and reasonable prices! Best wings in town but they have so much more than wings. Never had a meal I didn't enjoy. Great service also and outdoor seating if you like a lake view. The chicken cordon blue is my favorite. Their BBQ ranch dressing/dip is also quite good and unique.

If you re in LaPorte and are looking for somewhere to eat, drink and have fun then this is the place to go. Great food,great selection and outstanding service! You can t go here and not have fun!

I was always reluctant to try this place, and for whatever reason that might have been, I wish I had given 3rd Base a chance sooner. Atmosphere and bang for the buck is hard to beat. After a few visits, it is clear the bar food is where they really shine. The burgers though good a la the Denver, lack due to choice of beef patty. Other than that, solid food and good drink prices.

Very nice bar. Small, intimate but loud. Good drinks, good food. Feels like you belong even if you've never been there before.

Food was average nothing outstanding. My only complain is the noise is quite loud not because of the people thought it seems the sound bounces off the walls.

Our first time visiting! Awesome burger and Reuben! Friendly service and a light atmosphere! Will be going back for sure!!

Great non-smoking bar to grab a drink with friends. Rotating tap handles of local breweries is nice too.

We got our food really fast. It was great! I had the Philly steak sandwich and waffle fries. The portions are big. The salads looked good too.

Fun atmosphere, great Chicago style hot dogs (1st time for me), friendly server.

Best bar in La Porte. Great atmosphere with TVs and view of the lake. The food is awesome. Try the Philly cheesesteak, quesadilla loaded, the Cuban, or anything else on the menu. Also, no smoking which is hard to find. Definitely check it out if your in La Porte.

The "Daytona Style" wings are the best I've ever had. Great, friendly service from Heather. The food, drinks, and pricing are all five star. This is a must stop for us while traveling!

Their Black & Blue burger with homemade potato salad was very tasty.
