Last we were there with a friend then the receptionist pulled a strange racist joke which we both thought it was too much. We then became silent and it became weird atmosphere for about 1 minute. We did not feel welcome.
Of course, we could take it further with the hotel manager or the police but we ignored it.

Horrible. We booked 3 nights and finally left before the end. Noisy and dirty, not enough showers (and then stagnant water ... next to the kitchen ...). To flee.
Cozy hostel with old-fashioned style. There was no TV in the room, no toilet and shower. However, the toilet was right next to the room so it worked well.
Truly an accommodation with practically everything you could possibly need nearby during your Siberia stay just a few meters from the entrance. Cozy atmosphere at the breakfast buffet. If you are craving coffee, coffee is included until 11.00
Clean showers, clean communal kitchen, sizable rooms... it's just a block over from the Hard Rock cafe. It's in nice area. The staff is really friendly.
Rather shabby and tight. Hardly any sockets in the rooms. Not even lightbulbs in all lamps. No staff at all. Everything runs through pins and codes that you get by email and you have to dig into the associated technical devices yourself. You can't open the window because there is a big main road outside that is incredibly loud. There, the better off drive up and down in their sports cars from morning to night.
It was clean and the staff very friendly. But the room (No.16, 2 people) had no window, but only a small skylight to the hallway. For a loud ventilation. For a short time and with a deep sleep feasible. Plus point for free coffee.
Charming and very helpful welcome. There is a kitchen and a dining room which allow you to cook yourself, which is practical, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. The rooms are relatively small and the wifi is not very good, but the decor is clean and nice.
Nice hostel for a good price value. Bring your own sheets and towel. Clean and safe place with a nice and cosy kitchen area downstairs. Just a little far away from the city center but easy to go there in 20min or take the bus!
Rooms are clean and so are the showers. Friendly staff that provide helpful information. Very nice common room/kitchen in the cellar featuring interesting masonry. Location near a grocer and metro station. Lovely park just down the road.
Worst experience ever! Insane staff and extremely poor service. We waited outside for 1.5 hours just to get in because they had forgotten to inform guests about changed opening hours for the reception. There were other guests who had problems at the same time as us - we ended up leaving the place and finding another one.
I got a nice private room with a shared bathroom and I loved the place. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the kitchen was nice to use. Cleaning in shared toilets could be improved, but that s all.
It is great here! The rooms are big, the showers are huge and clean. So, it is the second best hostel I used, directly after an hostel in Jerusalem where you can sleep on the roof at the fresh air in downtown Jerusalem. :)
Good hostel at a nice location, small walk from the city centre. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. We made good use of the kitchen during our three day stay at 2Kronor, it has most of the supplies you need to cook nice meals.
Im sad to have to give it this review, as I really wanted to enjoy my time there. But it was very loud, only one toilet per floor of approx 10 rooms (with multiple beds per room, thats about 1 toilet per 20 people). Also one night, there was fighting in the hallway and since there is no reception at night, I couldnt do anything. Would not recommend.
Go to this hostel if you are looking for a clean but no fuss bed. Clean toilets and bathrooms and s decent kitchen. The staff is helpful and accommodation wherever they can. The late check-in was a breeze because the staff had given me clear instructions in advance on how to self check-in.
Lovely place, perfect for a short trip! Staff moved our things around in the room quite a lot, which I didnt care too much for... Other than that it was a great room in an excellent location! Close to the underground and local shops and resturants. No forks in the kitchen, which we wish we knew before we made our food...
+ The location is absolutely fantastic, nice restaurants and cafes in the area and close to both bus stop and metro. -Very sensitive in the corridors, which means that you can clearly hear how all the doors slam shut during the nights. -On our first night, at 3 o'clock at night, the fire alarm went off and there were no staff on site which obviously feels worrying, there was an emergency number to hear from on such an occasion but no answer was received despite several attempts among the guests. The fire brigade was quickly on site, but it took 40 minutes before the person in charge was on site so that the firefighters could then establish that there was no fire danger as no one even lived in the particular room that set off the alarm. 7 hours later, at 10 o'clock the same day, the fire alarm went off once more and the situation was repeated; no fire and no guests in the room. Thankfully. Fortunately, there was now also a person in charge on site.
That it is not even possible to reach a person in charge in the middle of the night when a fire alarm goes off and leaves it up to their 52 guests, from all different parts of the world, to solve problems themselves is extremely outrageous. Especially since it was impossible for us to know whether a fire had actually occurred or not. Thankfully, we solved it excellently together but we were left cut. And the fact that it is then also not possible to reach a person in charge at the number they themselves set up at the reception is also outrageous and shameful. Among one's wishes, security in a home comes very high up, after this event I absolutely do not feel that about this home.
Later the same day we chose to go to the reception and talk about the situation as we no longer felt safe anymore, it was not possible to relax in the room as it could start screaming again at any second. We wanted to express our concern and hear if we could get any compensation or our money back. Unfortunately we were treated badly and were told that maybe we should check out instead and that we were the only ones who came and "complained about the 52 guests at the accommodation".
It is a pity that you can not give an even lower rating, but I can strongly recommend that you apply for another accommodation than this.
Location is convenient and in a nice neighborhood (near metro station Odenplan) The rooms are clean but a bit dated. The bathrooms and toilets may get an upgrade again.
Lt. Google is 3 stars 'Everything's okay' - and that's it. Zimner ok, bath ok. Under the roof, however, it was incredibly hot. The windows are open, but somehow that helped nothing (were also very hot, sunny days). WC and showers in the corridor. In the basement is still a kitchen and seating. 24/7 checkin possible via code system. I'm not a hostel expert so I have little comparison options here. Think 'all right' but it is true here.
Directly miserable service at check-in with a rude receptionist without any sympathy for his guests. I would never put my feet here again regardless of the quality of the facilities and the rooms.
Really nice ... it should cost less and then it would be perfect. The single room was essential and at the same time comfortable and clean. Natalia nice, kind and courteous.
A very cozy hostel! Clean and pleasant and close to the city centre. The main room downstairs was the best part I'd say, spent my evening there talking to strangers
Room and location in the city are great! The kitchen is well equipped and you can store your luggage safely! The shower in the attic smelled a bit moldy, in the basement, however, were completely ok!
Worn and sensitive. The taps are not known if it is hot or cold, they are broken. No shower scraper drains water. Experienced that there were people they did not live there. Sat in the foyer and someone sat on the stairs and ate at 22.30. The kitchen is not well accessible. If you live at the top, you will not have to go down. Locks on the windows are not ok. Is not completely satisfied. Being scolded for following your rules is a big minus
But despite that 1 night I can recommend at a cheaper price
I have spent two nights here in a mixed dormitory room for 6 people. The lovely and very very friendly staff (Catalina, Tack!). The wonderful breakfast. 30 min walk from the central station and Gamla Stan (the historic center). There is a supermarket directly opposite and the bus stop is on the corner of that same street. The subway is 9 min walk. Really very well located. The Dining room and kitchen are available to guests 24 hours a day, with good Wi-Fi signal and plugs to charge electronic devices.
