Truly an amazing view. Brunch was not worth the money. Buffet style hotel breakfast type. The staff was friendly. I am sure the perfect stop for a sunset drink, but not a weekend brunch.

You're going for the view for sure. Went at about 4p on a Saturday; lines at bar weren't too bad and the open deck seating was easily available for our group of 5.
Outstanding view, the service is not that good but you should definitely visit at least for the view
Rooftop friendly with views of the empire state building
Tall skinny guy at the check in is rude and disrespectful. Despite there is no cover, he tried to sell $40 drink tab to me and 2 of my friends. When we said no we just want to check out the space, was told our shoes were not good to let us in. We were dressed appropriately and also showed our military ID. Really dude? Saw people with shorts and basketball shoes going in.
This place is awesome, I've been here in the winter and the summer. In the winter they have blankets and heated igloos. The igloos seemed to be exclusive at first but my friends and I walked right in!
The staff is really friendly and helpful. Cocktails are delicious. The guac and chips were just OK, but that calamari was bomb. The sweet chili sauce served with it was the highlight.
The potentially fantastic view is spoilt /mostly blocked with a superfluous green fence. Not really worth it if you want to enjoy the view.
Worth trying it once for the great view of Manhattan.
Nice food and great view! Just need to improve the reservation process...
A place to come with family not living in New York and let them see the skyline from New York. Feels good.
Was up on the rooftop floor, it started to rain, they had at least 50 reserved seats empty under the umbrellas for a good 2 hour. We asked the host if we could sit under the umbrella till the rain stopped. She said the tablets were reserved for later that evening and that we couldn't sit there. So they rather have 30 people sit In the rain. Smh. The manager saw everything and didn't say a word. 101 food and Beverage, You never do that!!!!!# Rude hosts, Rude servers, so we went downstairs. We sat down and 15mins later someone drops a reserved sign on our tablet while we where sitting eating and drinking We thought they were reserving the table for us, haha. 10 mins later a server walks over and says we have to leave because the table is reserved. Management should know you can NOT do this in NYC for paying customers. The owners should invest in their people and train people for 101 customer service. I asked to speak to the manager he didn't want to speak to me. If the owner reads this. Look me up. I'm the wrong person to do this to. O Well, not my loss. It will catch up to you.
Very cool view and setting. Food was not good at all. Patio has a lot of seating, but we were told inside was the only place serving food (at that time). We had the guacamole dip. Dip was not freshly made and the chips were so stale. Asked for a basketball of fresh chips, they were stale as well. Ordered the burger and margarita pizza. Both were flavorless. Would not eat here again.
Afternoon drinks. Happy hour. Superb views. Packed with locals as well as tourists. Very cool ....
Great rooftop bar. Try to catch the sunset here if you can. You may have to wait a while to get a table on the terrace.
Must see in NYC.
The best view of the empire state building
One of the best rooftop bars I've came to in NYC. Also, one of the largest with seating areas, space to hangout, and a great view of the Empire State Building.
Spectacular place, good service and reasonable price.
Incredible full 360 views of the City and great beer. It's quite expensive but what can you've expect with such a great location.
It's a really nice bar, but do arrive before 1:30 a.m
Huge tourist spot, but a great view of the Empire State Building. Bypass the line for tables and walk to the right on the roof where there is a walk up bar and first come first serve seating.
I took my girfriend here the second time in a row for our Valentine's day dinner and everything was perfect as I expected it to be.
We got a nice table and the food was nothing short of exceptional. The meats were tender and juicy. I went overboard on their half a dozen types of dumplings. The steak, pork, chicken, salmon, italian cuisines, salads and everything was to die for.
I got their special dinner buffet along with a couple of drinks. After food, it was time for the rooftop. You get a very nice view of the Empire State Building from the roof. If you visit during winter, you might also witness small igloos wherein you could sit and enjoy your drinks in warmth.
Location impeccable, great view if you are tall because the palisade is high. Selected dishes (fish and chips and pasta gratin) bof blah, bold and not extraordinary, lacks a little greenery. Correct price for the place. Lounge atmosphere, excellent ipa beer. No taking order at the table you have to go to the bar even for the dishes.
I absolutely love this place. Every time I come to New York City I come here. The only better view is probably off the Rockefeller. Drinks and food is decent but it has nice beats with some chilled vibes. If it's your first time in New York, definitely com here!
Very nice, food was good, drinks were regular. They could've had better music for happy hour, music sounded like elevator music
Got here with my friends and the landscape is great the cocktails not so. Keep up the good work
This place lacks effort and relies solely on the view that can barely be seen, you have to pay a extra 20$ just to get into the restaurant, the food reminds me of cafeteria food no flavor or effort and the music is terrible. The drinks were good but service is horrible. This place is definitely not worth the time and money. It s basically just sitting eating horrible food looking at a view.
Opposite the Top of the Rock with the Empire State Building in between.
230 fifth roof top bar
The Empire State Building is good here because it's close.
It's a great place to chat with good people while drinking cocktails & beer at night!!!
Great views and the igloos on the rooftops made for a warm night with drinks. My only complaint here is the line to get drinks was always really long.
Recommended place to take pictures with the Empire State Building as background. Try to arrive early so the dress code can be avoided. $16 for three small burgers or 3 small chicken tacos. Taste was good. Nice place to chill out.
A must experience! The rooftop terrace is on the 20th floor so dress accordingly. There are heaters over the tables and they have red robes to help keep you toasty warm. They also have igloos that require reservations.
Easy access to everyone and nice view of the Empire State Building
Very nice place to eat, can even eat at during the winter time because of the igloos. Prices are not terrible either considering that it is a rooftop bar
A nice bar rooftop :) in New York. We had booked through a third party a rooftop bar trip with 3 bars and drinks included. View in this bar was great. Service very friendly. Beverage prices are moderately more in the higher segment but to settle.
The night we went on they had a really good DJ. Also the place was super well organized. As an example, normally in a busy place it is not easy to get the bartender s attention but here they had people guide you to the bar in small line ups and the bartender had your full attention. So just wanted to say it was well thought out and well executed service! The dance floor was also pretty big and the roof top was just fantastic!
If you want to admire New York, this is the ideal place. Good view, attention, drinks and snacks. All in the same place...!!!
Very famous place, the queue can be very long. You need to dress up to go there.
Amazing view on NYC
Fantastic place. Really unpretentious. Great view of Empire state building, reasonably priced drinks and great staff.
This place has the best views of the city, best drinks, best prices. Don t know what more you want!
Maybe one of the best fooftop bar that i have been in the city. The food is amazing and they have a lot of stuff so for sure you will find your dish. The price is okey for the location. They have cool cocktails and the bartender is really funny guy. Great view.
Tourist place, kinda decadent. You can spend a lot of money there. If you are visiting New York and really want to have a special evening on the roof top bar, this is a good place to go.
Absolutely amazing! Beautiful rooftop view, wide selection of drinks, warm "igloos" available for reservations in case you wanna chill indoors while outdoors, very spacious area.
The view of the Empire State Building is the only reason to come here. The drinks are expensive and watered down. The rooftop garden is nice to sit when it's nice out. The only time to come here is to bring your out of town guests to experience the view.
Amazing ambience. Good selection of drinks. Very few vegetarian options. Kitchen closes early 12 midnight for a place which stays open after 2 am. Not even hot drinks are served after 12 which is when I'd like a hot chocolate.
Wow..... Beautiful view. Beautiful people. Amazing place. Very crowded but worth the visit
Awesome rooftop with igloos! Really good for a photo-op. Service was also very accommodating to such a busy Saturday night crowd.
I'm a satisfied guest)) great timing, perfect view. Highly recommend.
If you're going for the night life you definitely want to check Sara out at the bar. She made my whole night. Best Marg on the planet. I'll definitely be back.
The crab cakes are to die for! I will be back. OMG how delicious!!!! My brother joined me and it we had so much fun. Super nice staff and good quality produce.
Beautiful terrace, it must be granted. We were for brunch, the quantities are there, for quality, do not expect to eat, just eat. Nice staff but you really feel in an industrial place, basically nothing exceptional except the view from the terrace.
Just saw the best sunset ever from up here! Amazing place.
You can upload without problem, just ask for an identity document. I'm usually full so you have to be patient. The prices are expensive. The views at night are magnificent
The drinks are strong so it's really worth it. Great midtown view of the city.
Local rooftop of a skyscraper in the center of Manhattan, on a panoramic terrace, large and spacious, entrance for adults with well-kept clothing, cocktail prices and average beers, you can book the table for dinner, stunning views of Empire SB, Chrisler Building etc., downstairs disco in indoor environment.
I tried to get a French75, which I doubted they would have so it was fine, not cool, but Then two other bartenders made me a French 75.
The woman I had as a bartender here didn't even give me 2 seconds to chance my mind. I asked "can you make a French 75" she said no and immediately turned away.she didn't even try.
It was bull I have had ice meals. This did not qualify.
Excellent to arrive before sunset and stay until you see the city at night
best place to take your friends. def onenof the best places to really appreciate how beautiful nyc really is. incredible view
Nice views and worth stopping by. Drinks were kind of expensive for what they were, though, and you dont get nice views from most of the bar to make up for it.
Best views of the Empire State Building! Local New Yorkers will claim it's a touristy spot - and they are right and for all the best reasons! In fact, those same locals will frequent here with their out of town guests. A must see when visiting NYC
Very expensive Drinks but great views. Close up of empire state
Our firm hosted a private party here. The roof is amazing. Bar is definitely above average. The lounge is pretty amazing too.
A solid go to place. Has inside which is mostly just dancing, Pretty good music. And an outside which is great for just hanging out with a group and chatting. Sometimes a cover, but cover charge also goes towards a couple drinks.
Over rated . Had wasps hanging around. Got dressed up to what web said only to see people in very casually dressed andcsporting gear everywhere
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was amazing!! It was the coldest night in January but we ventured out onto the rooftop. It is amazing and we will be returning as soon as the weather permits outdoor dinning!
Food and Service was AMAZING The scenery was also Great!
Great views from this rooftop bar. There's loads of seating and dome tent things to keep out of the wind. Plenty of heaters around also plus bins of red fluffy robes to keep you warm also. Awesome in good weather. The nightclub inside is very 'Miami Vice', loads of mirrors & bling.
A little overpriced, but the place is still very nice. Prices are expensive (like everywhere else in NY)
Pleasant atmosphere with incredible views of NYC, good structure and service.
Just because we were a group of 5 guys. They forced us to take VIP.
25 dollor entrance fee on laberday weekend .hardly can see any views with there 10 foot tall gates lining the roof with shrubbery surrounding it
