Packing up a close friend's belongings after their passing is not easy. So much to face and so many decisions to make on their behalf. You learn a lot by a person's belongings. Eventually I needed the type of help 1800Gotjunk could offer. It was so convenient to book them (low stress moment number one). When they arrived and told me about their recycling and donating policy I was so relieved. I felt confident that my friend's stuff would be treated with respect and so would our planet. Used Got-Junk for the first time yesterday and they were amazing. Called me in the morning to ask if they could come early (which worked great for me). And the two gentlemen who removed my junk were super friendly and professional. Will definitely use their services again.

Extremely poor service. Phoned to get stuff picked up from my garage. They told me they will come, do an estimate, pickup on the spot what they can (only not sure about an organ). Booked 2 hr window for junk pickup. Waited 1 hr, phoned to confirm they will show up and perform pickup. After 2.5hrs wait and no one showing up, phoned again - an arrogant guy now apologizes with zero apology meant and rude tone, telling me they made a mistake because they are still training some new staff, and they did not book me in at all. Wasted a whole afternoon while in the middle of a major move. No compassion from staff. This company doesn t know how to train support staff, and hires incompetent arrogants (hint: listen to customers complaint before interrupting and giving lessons). Using Just Junk got way better service, email confirmation and friendly phone staff - and on top of that, better value..

I was extremely happy with the service provided to me. The guys went above and beyond to make the situation pleasant and to work around our limitations. I have very rarely been as happy about a service as I was with 1 800 Got Junk. There is zero doubt that I will permanently go to them for all my future junk removal needs.

I had a very good experience with Darryl who went above and beyond to ensure that my junk removal needs were met on a very short timeline and even surpassed expectations. I was heading out of town and he ensured that the junk was removed without me being on site and agreed to an alternative form of payment.

The garbage compactor broke at the residential condo for which I'm the strata council member for and the repair tech informed us that it would take 7 days to get the parts ordered. 1-800-GOT-JUNK was able to make themselves available immediately understanding the urgency of the situation with the garbage room. They came within an HR of notice and was able to clear out the mountain of garbage that accumulated on the floor. Top notch service and would definitely use them again in the future for any emergency garbage removal service.

I used 1-800 Got Junk for the 1st time to remove a freezer. I was extremely impressed with the service and friendly staff. The two movers arrived on time and were very nice and professional. This guys are the best I used them 2 years ago and again today. Reasonable rates. I know there maybe slightly cheaper options out there but both times the guys that come are just so personable, helpful, smiling and give you the best rate possible. I got an email confirming the day before asking how much stuff and then a call the day of. You can t honestly ask for better service. Can tell the employees are happy which means it s a good company. We requested a truck to get rid of SO many things during a move in/ move out at end of February this year (items from an outgoing tenant and items from an incoming tenant needed to be removed). Steve and Kieran were incredibly professional and kind during the entire experience and worked quickly and efficiently. They moved around several pets making sure not to disturb them. During the shuffle they helped us do a head count of the cats (all were accounted for). Highly recommend this service! It really helped during what was a very busy and often stressful time.

Tell you one price in the phone and guarantee it... then when they show up and do the work try and charge almost double... told them to unload it all and get off my property. Go with a smaller company not these liars.

Was in Vancouver for a couple of days and called Got-Junk to help a friend to help her clean up of her apartment and was really impressed with the 2 men that did the junk removal. They were super friendly and professional. Will definitely use them again.

Absolutely fantastic service. The first time they came, they gave a reasonable quote and then suggested I try to sell a few things on Craigslist. Several items sold quickly, earning me good money, and the rest they picked up at a later date. When doing that, Daniel and Andy were exceptionally courteous and conscientious. They packed the truck so well that although it really was full they charged me for less! I have no reservations in warmly recommending I've Got Junk to anyone who needs to get rid of old stuff, whatever it is. I cannot recall seeing better service in my 15 years in Vancouver.

The service is expensive, which you don t really find out until they re in your home quoting your amount. I wish they d put their base amounts on their webpage. But the service I received was great. They were quick and clean and professional. And booking was incredibly easy.

They were super quick and efficient at removing broken washing machine and dryer. Felt safe and comfortable having them in my apartment, all wearing masks and keeping our distance.

Paid $190 plus tip to get a large, unwieldy couch, that has haunted us every time we need to move it, out of our lives. The team was courteous and considerate of our home and we are very satisfied with the service and the level of communication ahead of time regarding our booking.
