Terrible service. We went in because they had a wedding special offer of $199 per each suit. When we were being helped we mentioned the website offer and were immediately dismissed and told it was 3 it more. Showed the website to employees and everyone looked at each other. We eventually put on a suit and was told it was $299. Again referencing the website I was told that it was not for wool fabric. Website didn t mentioned anything about fabric. We talked with the manager and he stated that he wouldn t honor the sites advertisements, stating it was an error. Complete bait and switch. He walked away from us dismissively. Eventually we left. Completely rude management and was treated like I was in a assembly line as soon as we walked in. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!.

George's is old and dated but the people here are truly professional. You will not be disappointed.

I had huge hesitation when they handed me pants 5 sizes too large and over half a foot long. I went to go pick it up and I have no more hesitation. For barely more than the cost of a suit elsewhere I got a complete setup custom tailored. I love it and I will be back!

Best service we had after shopping all over the Manchester area for a suit for my husband with only 4 weeks until he needed it. No one can compare the price for the quality and service! They were able to even tailor the suit before the other stores could even get a stock one to us, and the alterations are INCLUDED in the price! We will ONLY go there for now on.

Bought a tux for less than I could have rented it elsewhere. Great service and they fitted me so the tux fits like a glove.

Really good experience I came in from out of town and needed a suit fast. They had a suit the was close ,just needed some altering. The stated they they could have it ready for me in about 2.5hr. I came back a little less than 2hrs. And they had already finished. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Customer service was outstanding!!! We worked with Paul and he really worked well with my wife and I to get the clothes I needed for upcoming business trips. We went in on Saturday selected 2 sport coats, two pair of slacks, and a suit. All pieces needed alterations and had to be done by Monday afternoon. The seamstress doing alterations is a miracle worker IMHO. I must admit, I had not been a regular at George's thinking it was just some small downtown holdover. Boy was I wrong!! Paul (and the entire staff) was a pleasure to work with and we will be asking for him when we go back...which will definitely be much more often! Thank You George's!!!

Great prices great quality suits but the alterations left something to be desired

Georges custom ordered eight (8) suits for my wedding party and tailored all for a little more then it would of cost for each person to rent a tux/suit. Jamie was amazing to work with, going out of his way to ensure each suit was perfect for the big day. They were flexible with having each person in the wedding party to come in and get sized/tailored on their own schedule and the same with when it came time for payment. The suits looked amazing and fit perfectly. Now everyone has a nice custom tailored suit to use long after the wedding day at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Georges Apparel for your next suit purchase.

My son was fitted for a tux and requires ultra slim. Unfortunately the fit of what he tried on was not the same as what he received (it was too baggy) but he took it because he didn't think there was an alternative. The one he wore to the prom ended up being from a different vendor, and I did not have the time to return the unused tux to George's before the prom. However, the wonderful manager refunded our money when I explained the situation. George's is definitely a customer oriented business, which is why I gave them 5 stars. I would definitely go back.

Purchased a suit recently, staff ensured my measurements were accurate and that I was comfortable with the fit. I would say the staff was professional and welcoming. I would return to this business.

I was treated very well when going to buy my very first suit and will be returning to buy more soon. The suit that they put me in fits me very well, I get compliments on it all the time. The prices are right and they sell quality not the junk you can buy just anywhere, and alteration for life!! Doing a good business here!

We all have one of those unfortunate moments when someone passes on in the family. I didn t have a suit and was under pressure to have one in a day in a half. I went to George s and explained my situation and they said no problem at all, it will be done by noon tomorrow. And low and behold it was. All tailoring done, shirts I picked were pressed and hung, and I was ready to go. The last thing someone should stress about is looking good in an unfortunate situation. And they made me look great with zero stress and at a reasonable price. I have a new business and it s growing fast. I see a lots of suits, pants, jackets and accessories in my future and George s will have all my business.

Helped me out when my interview clothes went astray on a flight in to Manchester. Can't speak highly enough about Dennis and the other staff members for their service. Bravo!

If you are looking for updated or fresh styles, George's is probably not the place for you. If you just want a suit for work, then George's is probably good for you. Part of my frustration is due to the staff. The staff was not the best at listening to what we wanted in a suit, misled us about what they could change in alterations, and it took a few visits for them to give us we were actually looking for. Again, I think this is because this is a place that caters to a slightly older crowd and not for people in their late 20's or early 30's. However, I do have to give one of the younger sales people credit for being very helpful in getting us what we want.

One of the best places to get a suit at discount prices. Almost half the cost of regular stores, and they do alterations for life on every garment.

Worst service ive ever seen at a mens apparel store. Walked in no one knew what they were doing.. Had to chase salemen around who were ignoring us. Walked out. And the prices are outragous.

Never been disappointed with anything at George's. They sewed up a tear in my pants within 10 minutes of me bringing it in. They will alter for free if you bought the suit there (up or down 20 pounds I think). They ask for 2 weeks notice for that but I needed it done in less than a week and were able to do it. I highly recommend them!

I've gotten two suits from George's. Great friendly service. Free alterations for the life of the suit. My second suit I needed for a funeral in a few days and they put my suit in for fitting ahead of the others so I had it in time. I picked it up that morning and it fit great. The staff told me if there are any issues with the fit to bring it back after the funeral and they would adjust it. That's how you take care of a customer.

Like some other commenters have said, this isn't really the place to go if you're looking for the most modern cuts and styles available. That being said, if you're looking for a good quality suit that will last for years then George's is great. All the suits I've purchased from here have been very decent quality for the price. Sometimes I'm a little disappointed I can't find more modern pieces but otherwise I've been satisfied. Don't forget that they have free tailoring for life, this is a really great deal as the suits will last you a long time if you take care of them.

I've never had issues with inattentive or absent staff like others have mentioned, I've always been attended to as soon as I come through the door. Not every salesperson is the best but they've all gotten the job done.

There is no better place to be fitted for a custom suit! Very friendly, super helpful and spot on with fashion.

They do custom orders. At the last minute I decided I wanted a Christmas vest. They had some specialty vests but not one I liked. I did see one color and one pattern I liked. They helped find my size and then special ordered a vest the I wanted. I found Jamie very helpful during the whole process

Good selection, good prices and excellent service. Lifetime alterations included. What more could anyone want? Well... if you want a $1000+ suit keep looking, but you won't find better service.

Slow service, no attention to detail, had to come back several times for alterations. Never answered phones and was never greeted when picking up suit. Poor service overall.

This is really where you go to get a nice suit, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the prices are higher than some of the competition, but the products and service are better .. So I can't really say they have much competition . I'm a firm believer that every man should have at least one nice suit and coming here to get it is my recommendation

Very disappointed! Purchased my last 8 suits here and customer service was clearly lacking this time. Salesman lack of enthusiasm and tailoring was poorly addressed. Poorly informed with issues with supplier and was inform 4 days before wedding.

Everyone I talked to was personable and funny. They seemed like they enjoyed their work which made me enjoy my shopping experience. They made sure I had everything I needed and ordered the items that weren t in stock. I would highly recommend this store if you still value customer service.

First time getting a suit, first time going to George's Apparel. As soon as I walked in their service was great. I was fortunate to have Al Camarata as my assistant. He was very friendly, down to earth, he knew his stuff, and had great suggestions. He didn't try to sell you everything in the store, and put his full attention to the customer. All of his fellow staff members were also very friendly, polite and approachable. I bought 2 suits there at a great price, and they will definitely have my business again! Thanks guys!

We recently had a wedding for our son, who is serving in the Coast Guard.We had several groomsmen that were out of state or deployed. The process at Georges did not go well. There were several ordering mistakes, sizing errors, suspender buttons missing.I have shopped at Georges for over 30 years and expected more. There is no question that everyone at Georges did what was needed to make it right, but when you are planning a wedding and have issues the day of the wedding it is disappointing.

As other reviews have mentioned, George s sticks to the basic and classic suits but they re all high quality and altered to fit you perfectly. On top of that all alterations are included for as long as you own the suit!

If you re looking for a new suit, skip the mall and support a local business who s been around for decades. You won t regret it.

Amazing service, wonderful staff, highly recommend for all your quality clothing

I was quite happy with the service I received when buying my suit. However, when I brought it back for alterations I feel as though they did a subpar job and I was left with a suit that looked worse than before.

Didn't buy a suit here, but bought a shirt and gentleman made sure the suit I had was a good fit. Very much appreciated. Next suit I buy will be from George's.
