The clerk's office is a nightmare, a joke, offensive because your your reputation and potentially criminal history is on the line, even if you don't have one.
Brenda Foreman has run the clerk's office as a personal feifdom to wield her own special brand of political power whatever that may be, but in several cases that I've now had to deal with there paperwork has not been posted when legally required, paperwork has changed since after it was filed with the clerk originally, they have filed personally identifiable medical information not on the clerk's website but on the entire Broward county public records website which I only found by accident.
They made a mistake which was detrimental to me pre trial. by ignoring the law and not engaging in what was a ministerial task, they instead inserted their opinion, when I pointed out that what they had said was in fact totally incorrect and pointed them to the correct information they refused to correct it.
This speaks volumes about what you can't expect there. This called for two more court dates two more days of three billable hours of lawyers and a judge who accused me of stalling when I was doing anything but.
why the governor doesn't remove her for contempt I do not know, but he should nor should she be re-elected under any circumstances as her managerial skills are clearly based on pettiness and bitterness.

The meanest, the most violent, the most prejudiced, and the most incompetent people (lawyers, judges, judicial assistants...) work there; who wreak havoc on poor people all day and make our lives a living nightmare.
Faye in room 3170 was just a blessing sent from God to me today. She was extremely helpful, she went way above and beyond for me. I am TRULY grateful for her help! Please give her a raise!!
On a side note, I've been to this courthouse more times than I can count (pre-covid) and have never had my cigarette lighter confiscated before. That's why I only put the four stars.

Horrible, smelly, dangerous and crowded. To top it all off it is the most corrupt court in Florida.

Their online case search doesn t work properly. It says no results when there should be at least 50. I emailed them, and they responded that they don t know what type of search I m performing and insist there s nothing wrong with their website. I guess I have to do their job for them and send screenshots? Case search is pretty specific, however. Government employees are the absolute worst. These people should ALL be fired.
Also, no one answers the phone....ever. Even Pizza Hut employees are capable of doing that.
The worst ever I called to ask if they count weekends when being summoned and she replied I cant tell you that information. like whatttt ! They are a disgrace ! I hate it there ! If I could I would not deal with them. Literally everytime I called they act like my question is too much to answer.
Every time I file an efile they send it back to court (which I don t mind) but with that they want me to pay over $400 each time it s fixed. That is crazy. It s been 5 resubmissions because there s a lack of info or forms online to help me file a civil case.
Do the math.... a lot of money in their pocket .
Hi! Sorry to do this to you!! I'm still navigating my way around posting. Got as far as the ratings and then somehow got off. BUT, I did manage to get back on again , not exactly the same heading , but the same destination!. This gives me a chance to add a few more points. One, ..A lesson I learned the hard way-- when you approach s person, how you approach them usually determines the outcome! A little respect, a little courtesy will get you a long way! We all have a job to do!. A complement usually greases the wheel. Before this complexe was put up, the old building was dilapidated and run down. Parking was a nightmare. Now , as long as you don't park in illegal spaces,there are multiple parking choices, all close by and within minutes of your destination. Be safe, stay safe!

This place has been under construction for many years. When are you going to finish up and take down the cain link fences that have blighted the area for many years??? This looks really bad for Broward County, another poorly managed project.
