OKay, so this was totally awesome. Participate as much as you want or sit back and enjoy the ride. The crew are very helpful and informative. If you are at all into sailing, and especially if you are into America's Cup racing, then this should b on you bucket list. The vessel, the Columbia, is beautiful for having won the America's Cup in 1958. We are planning our next sail for the summer of 2019. Book early for the best slots.
The captain, Eli, was very knowledgeable, pleasant personality. The sail did not open right away, first trip of the season, he offered to stay out a while longer and it was a wonderful experience to glide on the water. My 9 year old son was thrilled to drive the boat and help with the sail.
This is the finest way to see the island and you couldn't find a better crew to guide you. We were smiling every second from booking to sailing and the hours to follow. I hope everyone has the chance to experience a 12 Meter Yacht Charter.

We sailed on Heritage, and it was amazing! Sailing was smooth, but not boring! The crew knew what they were doing, offered water and a variety of juices, and were very pleasant.

Best deal in Newport for a 2-hour sail on a large racing comfortable sailing yacht. It is very rare that you get to actually live out history. We all go to see museum exhibits but few actually get to experience them. 12 Meter Charters lets you live history in a most exemplary manner. You sail in a 12 meter yacht that competed in the America's Cup trials. If you desire you can actually crew the yacht helping hoist the sail or even man the helm. If you just want to take in the magnificence that is Newport you can also do just that. The Captain and crew are friendly and informative and really takes care of you. This will be the highlight of your vacation !!!. The two hour cruise is memorable. You don't have to be a sailor, Cup enthusiast to enjoy this trip. If you are it makes it just makes it so much better. Cheers ~~~_)~~~~

I am a wife and mom that doesn t get out to adventure too much in life, but was able to say I loved experiencing this beautiful 12 meter sail boat run. My 16 year old and husband also had the experience of manning the sails with the crew as I ran the boat thru the beautiful bay. I wouldn t recommend it if you have disabled elderly or very young kids because it does tip side to side. But if you are a boat lover and want to experience the wind blowing thru your hair on a relaxing boat ride, you have to take this run.
