Go for craft, not convenience.

Go for craft, not convenience.

I'll stipulate that these people likely know more about coffee than I could ever absorb. And their effort and pricing demonstrate both their knowledge and pride. But if you're looking for convenience, this is not the place to go. First, parking is a challenge. They don't offer skim or low fat milk options for their lattes -- only almond or soy substitutes if you want something other than whole. Sugar free options for latte? Forget about it. And they only offer one size for their take out. Frankly, there are just too many other options, and the craft just doesn't sell me on a return visit.

This sounds like it is supposed to be a cute small town coffee shop but it really wasn t. The coffee took FOREVER to get, the food we got with our coffees was cold which I don t know why they wouldn t give us at least the food if they weren t going to do anything with it while making us wait for the coffee, and the prices were ridiculous for the size you get. The food itself was the only reason it gained one extra star, the pumpkin muffin was really good. I do not recommend this place for those who want a small town coffee shop experience, plain and simple.

Such a neat place downtown to grab coffee. The coffees are not your traditional light, medium, and dark, but they are still great! You can look over into the room next store to see some of the process. Very fair prices as well. The staff who helped us at our visit pick out some gifts and coffee to try were so nice and friendly!

Was greeted by the most wonderful and kind barista, April! She took the time to get to know us and made us feel so welcome here in Athens during our first visit. Good coffee and beautiful space! I m sure the locals are looking forward to their indoor seating opening again for that reason! Paired with a lemon poppyseed danish from independent baking, we had a winning combo!

One of the few places I've seen that still enforces a maximum amount of people due to Covid-19. I praise them for that, and also for the outrageously good selections and blends that I've come to enjoy from 1000 faces. They will grind up the beans to your liking. Definitely a must visit when you're in the area!

Incredible local coffee shop! I highly recommend their cold brew coffee. It has a lovely taste and doesn't need any sweetener.

The aesthetic of this shop is absolutely beautiful! I love all of the plants and light.

1000 Faces has the best coffee and espresso in Athens, and that is saying a lot considering the many other great cafes! The staff are experts in the art of coffee and are very insightful in helping you find exactly what you need.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I just wanted to drop by and say that your coffees have fueled my at-home pour overs for the last 2 years. I've tried so many different brands, and nothing comes close to your coffee. It's always exciting to try new beans from you guys. Thank you for the consistent, amazing quality.

This was my first time in Athens and 1000 Faces is a must go for any future visits! Best latte I've ever had and miles better than any of the major chains!

Just order a regular latte and enjoy! The flavor of the coffee was phenomenal and doesn't need any help. Pick up a bag of their coffee beans while you're there to enjoy at home!
