Prices are absolutely ridiculous. I live alone in a 700 sq-ft apartment and pay an upwards of $150 a month. Since this company "sub-meters" their services and buys out whole apartment complexes, tenants are forced into using NEP as their only available utility provider. That being said, NEP doesn't have to rely on good reviews or great customer service to keep their business afloat. What they are doing (buying the electricity from AEP and selling it to tenants at a higher price) is illegal in most states. It's so unfortunate because I have had to turn down beautiful apartments when I found out they were supplied by NEP because I knew my monthly cost would be about $100-200 times higher than if i lived elsewhere. This company is essentially a scam and its practices are only legal through loop-holes. Avoid at all costs!
