If you have an option, keep looking. The pros are that the location is good if you want to be close to things in downtown. Also, most of the staff are friendly, but there were a few that didn't go out of their way to be friendly. Now for the cons. The hotel was poorly maintained although it looks as though it had been recently remodeled. Wallpaper peeling, sloppy (obvious) paint splatters on the walls, dated fixtures in the bathroom, elevators that were slow and didn't work properly. In addition, housekeeping had a lot to be desired. The rooms (I stayed in two over the course of my stay) had multiple strands of women's hair on the bathroom floor, hanging off the desk chair on the back of the toilet, etc. Also, the desktops and nightstands had clear rings from a glass or can making it obvious that they had not been wiped down for some time. The mirror in the bathroom was worn along with the edges of the trim. The bed was okay, yet super firm, the desk chair was very worn and had stains on it and when I checked into my second room, the coffee maker had the previous guests used coffee cartridge still in the maker. The worst was the bathtub. It was clearly stained at the bottom and the grout in the shower had black spots that were clearly mold. It's clearly an old building that either had a rushed or cheap makeover. If you have another option, stay there, not at this place.
