Very unprofessional and underhanded in the way they do business. First off, their salesperson Jeorge was completely uneducated in the features of the car models which is about as basic a job requirement as you can get. You would think someone would apologize after telling you incorrect information but no, he got extremely defensive and hostile when it was discovered that certain things he said were included in fact weren t. I should have taken that as a big hint and not continued to interact with this dealership but I continued.

So I decide I like this car and call back hoping to discuss pricing and hammer out a deal that day. Total rejection, refused to talk about anything unless I was physically crammed into his tiny makeshift cubicle. Why exactly couldn t he deal like adults? Oh, it s because his prices are so, so, SOOOO good other dealers complain if he were to tell me it over the phone (but they wouldn t complain if I was told it in person???). So not only is Jeorge treating me like a child but he is lying about the reason and thinks I m an idiot too. Again, gets extremely defensive when it s pointed out that his reasoning holds no water and is entirely illogical. Says I should blame the other dealerships and not him for what he does and doesn t tell me (while we re on the blame game I wonder if he thinks I should blame my neighbor for my co-workers actions as well).

Well I did go talk to the other dealer but instead of blaming them I bought a car! In complete contrast, my other salesperson talked to me honestly, openly and wasn t afraid to tell me how far he could go on price. Took hardly no time at all and I drove it off the lot the same day.

Why was Jeorge so insistent I sit in the cubicle with him? Oh probably because he thought he could apply some low-grade pressure selling technique that he learnt from other snake-oil types. Maybe the other reviewers had better experiences with other salespeople here. Or maybe they all fell for it and paid MSRP plus all the padded mark-ups, including a sky-high $500 admin fee which is not only much, MUCH higher than other dealers in town but as I ve come to learn from my other dealer friend it is a totally bogus charge. Even if you do end up financing, there is next to no cost in setting up a car-loan beyond a small nominal PPSA registration fee. It is nothing but margin padding.
