Dring my 5 1/2 week I was therer iI eas ignored, not allowed to walk, asked nusing every day to calll husband and they lied telling me he was busy. This was a lie. He had only been called once. My room phone, had neen turmed off . I had no guardian, no healthcare POA, or judeges oder. They. Refusing every time they tried to give me a medicstiom to tell me what it ws.. They started puting it in my food. So I stopprd eating. I lost 22 pounds the 5 weeks 1 was there. My personal Phyzician was shocked and deplored by what had been orderedch. The 4th week a male CNA came into my room, at 4am and pulled me out ot of bed telling me I had to go to the bathroom, I told him I didn't have to go, be he pullled me in anyways.He stripped me naked, the entire time feelig me and told me to go to the toilet. I was screaming "help" and "no". 5 ftWhen I was done he proceeded to put my under wear on me. proceeding to feel my body. I had had eough, pushed him: , into the wall, and then out of the bathroom.l dressed and then discoverd s female murse 4 feet away and a female CNA sitting 3 feet away on my bed. They had done noting to stop my sexuall assault. I was afraid to call the police for fear of retribution. 4 days lF06 gater i strongly demanded my husband be called and put me on the phone with me NOW. I begged him to get out of there immediately.
Since then I have lived with panic attacks and depression. No woman should ever be treated like.this. I was degraded, felt powerless, and become anxious every night I'm alone. This shouldn't happen to any oman in a medical facility. I was ambulatory, able to dress, undres, and toilet myself. Why isn't there e a law about this protecting women?
