I was seen at this er yesterday morning and from the start i was treated horribly.After about 8 hours a surgeon came in and said they were going to admit me and do a test today on me to figure out what's going on and he ensured me they would make sure to keep me comfortable and as out of pain as possible. Well, that was the surgeon but when the hospitalist came around that was no longer the case. They were giving me two pain medicines, alternating them to keep me out of pain and the hositalist took one of them off, even after the nurses and surgeons told her just the one alone wasn't helping. I didn't get a hospital room even though I was "admitted" and stayed in the er all night right next to what I believe was a utility closet or something because it was so noisy I could not sleep. I was in unbearable pain and was nauseated and vomitting and nothing was being done. This morning yet another hospitalist came in and decided to change things up for the worse yet again. This time they dropped my only pain med they were allowing me to take and was only going to give me a very low dose, mild pain medicine which we had already talked about and came to the conclusion wouldn't work at all. The attitude the hospitalist had was too bad so sad, they didn't care I was in pain, didn't care of was nauseous and throwing up, my blood pressure stayed sky high most of the night due to the extreme pain (I do not have high blood pressure) but they did not care. The nurses were great but the hospitalists were horrible and genuinely didn't care about their patients at all. I ended up signing out AMA because I got tired of laying their crying in pain and being treated like I was nothing but trash and being treated as if i was wasting their time, even though my labs all showed infection. So now I am back home, no better, actually worse and in worse pain than when I got there. This whole experience was terrible and I will never go there again. I wouldn't wish this emergency room on my worst enemies. They genuinely do not care about you and could care less if you are in pain,or vomitting or extremely sick with an infection. It is shocking their lack of care! Be warned before going to this hospital.
