Awesome experience working with Dave and Jared! Any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner! Thank you both for making our experience great!
I'm updating my review not to reflect my sales rep or personal builder but the company. I've learned from the beginning the corporate is horrible about returning calls and responding to emails or voice messages. Throughout the process anytime I called or texted my sales rep he responded even on his days off but I cant say the same for corporates. We had an issue in the beginning and I contacted corporate was told someone would call back and still no return, my salesperson called to let us know the issue had been taken care of. I contacted the contract and sales coordinator Megan Simmons by email and 4 days later still no response. I must say overall dealing with the sales person made the experience great but corporate is definitely horrible. I've heard similar complaints and now I completely understand. I think overall when people are spending the type of money that they spend with Southern Homes the experience should be great all around not just with the salesperson and builder. It doesnt take much to reply to an email or leave a VM. Customer service is everything and taking a little time to go the extra mile, doesn't cost anything.

Reply to the owner. Your sales person Ernie left a message for me and I returned his call and spoke with him and of course still no resolution to the issue. I have emails and text messages stating that a credit was due back to me and of course your company has come up with every excuse to not honor. As I mentioned to Ernie it's quite obvious that your employees are not on the same accord and each employee is giving different information. After having proof and being told one thing and your company refusing to honor is definitely not a misunderstanding. I MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!! The two people that I did recommend I have advised to go elsewhere for a better home buying experience, because I definitely don't want to be responsible for them being told one thing and after the process is finished being told something totally different and your company not honoring your word. . It appears this is the norm according to some of the reviews I've read.
