very expensive clothes and the clothes do not even last long. Do not waste your time going there. There are plastic people working there and want to make their money fast. The employees were rude to me

I will not give Boyd's a five star rating because that suggests there's no need for improvement. However,when considering a well established,fine clothier.Boyds is all that need to be said.

Called on the phone asked the price range on their suits and was told $695-$6500 I said okay thank you and before I got to say anything else he hung up on me I'm taking my money else where!

They have an elegant selection of clothes. Also, their location is fine, it's a walking distance from my apartment.

The same overpriced stuff you can buy here, you can buy on the designers website for 1/4 of the price. The quality of the stuff is junk. I wore a shirt twice and the whole bottom was stretched out of shape. When i tried to return something, they refused to let me. Go to Nordstrom rack, you'll get designer clothes for 1/4 of the price.

Awful service, showed interest in buying multiple items and was ignored and walked away from, wont be coming back.

The sales team is quite pushy and aggressive. They split up my boyfriend and I so they could target us individually. The clothing selection is okay but styles are limited and expensive

No details to share. After shopping here for a decade and spending thousands of dollars I was denied entry because I did not have driver s license to show upon entry . My husband had his and I had credit cards in my name . We were told my husband could enter but I could not . Shopped elsewhere on Walnut street which has exponentially better customer service

At Boyd's, the saying "you get what you pay for" is an accurate description of this store. It may be pricey but the quality is fabulous and long lasting. Boyd's works to make the clothes fit you, rather than the other way around. The service is great; there is always someone available to assist you in the store as well as give professional opinion on style.

An amazing retail establishment for both men's and women's clothing. Their fashion and selections are to the utmost standards of fleek. The staff and consultants are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Make sure you are ready to be primped and pampered if you are looking for the perfect outfit or suit that brings out the best of you!

LIKE SWIMMING IN A SHARK TANK WITH A GUSHING WOUND . As soon as you emerge from the shelter of the round-about door your immediately sniffed by two or three people. Go upstairs and you might as well wear a coat made out of steak in a lions cage. You'll immediately be shelled with questions . As soon as you walk in the room all conversation stops . Most of the salesman are way to eager to sell you things that you could get for a cheaper price same quality and better cut @ a different store .Boyd's has some nice stuff but is way OVER-rated. for $100.00 you get 2 or three nicer ties somewhere else. and for a $100 dollar shirt you could get 2 or 3 shirts somewhere else with a better fit. I like Paul Taylor shirts better than Boyd's. Probably the best thing about Boyd's is their shoe department.

Best handcrafted Italian suits in the city. Ask for Sergio, the in house Italian tailor, and he'll cut you the best suit you ever owned. Gaurenteed.

Bought a nice suit two years ago. Jacket still fine, needed to replace the pants. Lady on phone said that was fine, they had in store, and could replace easily. Phoned two weeks later. Was told a) they couldn't break a suit (that they had in store). I could buy the whole suit if I wanted. b) if I want just the pants, it will take six weeks+. Presenting at big conference in front of my boss and up to 300 others, without my nice suit. If they don't honor their employees' words, what else won't they honor? I, and my, wife, will never buy from here again.

It was absolutely refreshing! I just so happens to be touring the area and I saw a Roksanda dress I own in the window, I walked in and from the moment I walked in it was just a pleasant experience from the first floor to the 3rd. I was in shorts and a tank top and was still made to feel just as welcomed. Job well done. Reminds of the service Nordstrom USED to have!

Love the store, it s just that the blonde sales lady in the women s section around the accessories is way too pushy. We just wanted to look around but she constantly followed us. Don t really know if we want to go back.

walked in, they were extremely pushy. Was going to buy an outfit for a baby shower and the lady wouldn't stop coming up to me when I just wanted some time to browse. I got tired of it and left.

excellent labels and ne plus ultra choices for snob appeal do not diminish the air of this being the haberdashery for superannuated rou?s... in short, absolutely bizarre fashions and a paucity of design classics. incredible stratospheric prices and a staff that wants to get all over you like (no other expression for it) a cheap suit the moment you walk in. it's like running a gauntlet of sharks.

It is such a treat to shop in Boyd's as I live in a small town in Alabama. The service is friendly and helpful without being pushy. The merchandise is easy to shop and I lucked into a sales associate by the name of Marina, who is super sweet and knowledgeable of brands and fits. I will definitely return every time I am in Philly! BTW, I am happy for Boyd's to be back up and running!!!!

I understand the statements about price and feeling expected to buy. But this is the place you always imagined would have your perfect suit. Just go one time - you'll have your favorite suit to enjoy for years. I had a great experience buying a suit here for my son when he was getting married. Memory for a lifetime.

I went in expecting one thing and i was completely wrong. I needed a suit for work, i was fully expecting to spend a arm and a leg. What i left with was an amazing suit, totally affordable and tailored. Dean was nothing less than amazing - attention to detail was 5/5 and hospitality was something i haven t experienced while shopping. 5/5 would and have recommended. Will be returning solely because of Deans mannerism and hospitality.

Great Service and Amazing Products. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for and this is definitely high quality stylish clothing. Store was well stocked, cleaned, and well organized. Came with my brother who loves this place. It is not for me (and I think they knew it when I walked in) but I appreciated the fact no one for a second ever made me feel unwelcomed or unwanted in the store.

Boyd s: everything you need to know.

If your looking for classy high end fashion in the city.. this is the place to go, but expect the high end shopping experience. Meaning expect a personal shopper and the prices that come with it... If you just want to browse find one personal shopper you like get there info and tell them your just going to browse. Then when others walk over say I work with x and they ll leave you alone.

Most would assume that this place would be snobby and overpriced, but you'd be incorrect. The staff is super friendly and unlike most other stores who only carry certain sizes and lengths, this store can alter your clothes so it's as close to made to fit as possible. It may cost a bit more, but it's well worth it as everything will fit you as it should.

I have been shopping at this store since I was a kid. My dad and grandfather have been coming for years. It is an amazing experience shopping here and I have yet to find a store that comes close. Along with with vast collection they have on sight tailors and a parking lot across the street.
