I have a 2018 Kia Soul purchased 2/13/18, it's our 3rd one purchased from the Hickory, NC dealership. The sales process was great and I purchased the Ultra Care package as well. This week I went to online service dept scheduling and it wouldn't give me any available dates, not for this week or next. I work in Hickory but live 30 miles away and I'm going out of town so I left work a little early and took my car over. Online and on the door it says their service department closes at 6pm. It was almost 5pm and I was told that they wouldn't do it because it's too late. It never takes them longer than a half-hour to change the oil so I was confused as to why they couldn't provide the service. I explained I was going out of town so I was wanting to get it done. The only offer I got was to make an appointment to come back at a later date. A statement is not visible on their door or website informing customers that after 4:30pm they won't provide services. I know for a fact that the sales staff wouldn't turn someone away an hour before closing, so once the vehicles are sold we should still be treated with the same courtesy. I'm just disappointed in the service team there.
