Stay away from this insurance company.

Stay away from this insurance company.

Their system is always down, and when it's down and you need the service, you will have to pay out of pocket first. BUT after you pay, it takes years to chase the money back.

1. You can't email, upload, or fax the claim, you have to fill a ton of forms and MAIL to them but they can HARDLY receive anything.

2. After they got the mail, it takes more than a month to finalize --> for the first month when you call, they will just tell u to wait.

3. After you wait for a month they can now finally tell you that there's nothing on file.

4. Now you have to go to the service provider, ask for all the paper work and mail again, be sure they got the mail and call 100 times for them to finally put it into the system.

5. They only reimburse part of the cost even though it says 100% covered because you paid out of pocket, they have an under table agreement with healthcare providers so if they claim they will get reimbursed partly. but since you paid by yourself and not through their discount channel, you pay a higher premium which HCBS will not pay you.

After dealing with all that, I'm done and finally switched.
