From the other reviews about disgruntled employees it is easy to piece together that BCBSNJ is focused on profits NOT healthcare!!! For me, they had a family doctor with NO expertise deny the prescription from my dermatologist with years of experience. I have to appeal with the state and the officers of the company REFUSE to speak with me. In fact their help desk REFUSES to provide any actual assistance. They keep closing my help requests and telling me to call the care center who refuses to acknowledge the issues at hand. All of the processes in place are designed to discourage consumers from pursuing coverage that doesn't maximize the company's profits. It is sad that a company who is in business to service customers believes they are only there to feed profits.
