It got raised to 2 stars because all the Casino floor staff were great and friendly, to include Security Staff.
Lunch was rather okay. Waitresswas very minimal words and disappeared when we wanted to pay. We found her having to help move alcohol bottles at the bar. So we paid her there.
Hotel was expensive!!! More than Branson Hampton inn where we just came from. A $15.00 resort fee on top of room and taxes. $15.00 for what?
So the run down of my experience.
Rooms expensive.
They don't like being compared to Las Vegas.
Beer is served in a plastic cup at the bar.
Appears to be only one waitress working the Casino floor for drinks.
Machines do not pay out as well as Las Vegas IMHO.
Security people very nice.
Bartender who served me beer in a plastic cup, very nice.
Black shirt people working the floor very nice.
Rewards card cage and payout cage people very nice.
Slot machine technician who fixed the machine i was on, very nice.
Lady who sat us at the lunch table very nice.
Hotel counter people seemed to care less about me and getting a room. So I turned off by them. We left after playing the floor for a couple hours.
They don't want to be compared to Vegas. But they could learn a lot from Vegas.
Kinda sad. I had high hopes for staying and enjoying the evening, vice leaving after 2 hours.
