This was the best museum I've ever been to. The staff there were wonderfully friendly, and the actors were absolutely great and made the experience very immersive and interactive. They were all so passionate and friendly, I loved watching the witch trial and the hanging.

The building itself was architecturally intriguing. It wasnt like any other museum experience I've had. Walking around and seeing genuine cells was very cool, and there were actors dressed up to tell stories about the cells every so often.

The museum had bits from different time periods... Victorian prison themes and earlier. Overall I really enjoyed this museum, and the caves were incredible. I'd definitely recommend visiting those too. Again the uses of the caves were explained in depth by actors who took you down there. From hidden criminal meeting points, to tanneries and then public shelters used in the war... the caves really are rich with history. Would 100% recommend a visit here!
