Strange location. You have to go past the hospital and the cemetery then up a steep hill to get in. Parking can be difficult. Valet service is offered, but often not attended. Food is hit or miss. Trails are poorly maintained and lots of poison oak, ticks, and flies show that this isn't a hiking destination. The restaurant, spa, and hotel are definitely better maintained than the trails. Look out for locals only deals, holiday packages, and couples discounts. The restaurant overlooks a great view that makes up for the weird drive up and the difficult parking.
