The hotel is in an excellent position, the only hotel in Torquay literally next to the sea. It was lovely to sit in our Seaview room watching the boats etc, or simply, the sea. We also had a couple of afternoons sitting in the sun, enjoying a drink on the excellent terrace. 1
The staff in all areas were excellent, friendly, helpful and professional.
The food, we had bar snacks and ate in the restaurant, was really good.
The only downside was, our room and the lounge area were looking a little tired but, apparently, they were about to undertake renovations when covid struck and only a few rooms were completed
Overall we enjoyed our five night stay and would happily return
