Horrible Experience. I genuinely felt like I was talking to a car salesman when I had left. When I leave a dentist with more information about the products he can sell me (Lumineers, Whitening procedures, sealant caps, etc) and less information about how I can actually help keep my teeth healthy I begin to get annoyed and offended. Came in for simple cleaning and was told that I needed "Deep Gum cleaning." Wasn't given any information about how much it would cost me out of pocket until I asked (which turned out to be an awful amount that the insurance wouldn't cover). Afterwards I also asked for an itemized amount of how much everything would cost; (which you always have a right to according to law) he gave me the papers and you find out the majority of that "Deep cleaning" that the insurance wouldn't cover is "Laser based cleaning". If the cleaning had been done with normal tools it would have been 1/5th the price out of my pocket. Feel like the dentist had no regard for patients well being and more interest in his own pocket book.
