I ended up going to the emergency department on October 19th at 5 am with extreme abdominal pain. They were able to get me examined (blood test and CT scan) and found I had diverticulitis.

By 10 am they admitted me to a room in the Chapman Tower. After 2 days of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, etc., the doc sent me into surgery.

They were very fast and was able to make me feel better. I spent 2 days on 11 East floor, then to 10 East. The nurses were very polite, friendly, and accommodating.

I'm not out of the woods yet, but also not dead. I still have a lot of recovery left, but if I'm put back on that floor, I know I'll be in good hands.

I've never been in so much pain and appreciate the sense of humor radiology, Dr. Morgan, all the nurses and aides offered me; it made my stay much more bearable.

Thank you for saving my life.
