This is the worst delivery service I have ever received, in my entire life, on a consistent basis, over the span of multiple years. I love Donato's food and where I am located in the city, this is one of the best options I have. It's a shame that over the last few years I have almost never received a quality product. Literally 90% of the orders I have placed over the last few years have had one if not all of the following issues:
1. Cold and old product
2. Incomplete orders
3. Incorrect orders
4. Two hour + wait times (which would be fine if they could at least honor the two hour time and then deliver hot complete orders)
5. Horrible customer service in the event one or more of the issues listed above occurs.
I took 6 months off from ordering with this location until the other day I decided to give it another go. I placed my order online and it immediately gave me a 2 hour delivery time. I ordered a sub, chicken tenders, and a soda - 2 hours is an incredibly long time for this type of order (seriously, Papa Johns delivered a pizza to me in less than an hour during Ohio state vs. Wisconsin). I ordered at 8:45 and expected delivery at 10:45. It did not arrive until 11:15. The driver did not have a pen to sign my receipt so I had to wait as she tossed her car looking for one. It appeared she had her boyfriend or someone else in the car with her. She asked if I had a pen, which I did not bring to the front entrance with me. Finally she found one and approached me. I could easily see that she did not have all of my order. She handed me my food, the bag was crumbled, and damp, and cold. I asked her about my drink and she smiled and said that she had to bring that back to me. So to recap, you failed to make the two hour delivery time for a sandwich, chicken tenders, and a drink - and you couldn't deliver a complete, and hot order, nor were you prepared once you arrived at the delivery location. I handed her the food and asked her to take it back. I called the store to obtain a refund, and although I wasn't looking for one - an apology of some type would have been nice. All I received was "well....we have been a little busy tonight, and it's going to take at least 7-10 business days to refund your money." That was the end of their "customer service". And this is consistent. The only consistent thing about this store is their inability to provide quality product and service to their guests. I will never order from this nightmare location again, which is a shame because I like Donatos. This store does a disservice to their name and product and I would recommend making serious changes at this location. Apparently, from looking at some of the other complaints here, I can see that I am not the only one with such experiences. What a disaster.
