The W Taipei Hotel is located in Xinyi, the most expensive district in Taipei, 5 minutes away from the Taipei City Hall station and 10 minutes away from Taipei 101, surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants. This is one of those modern trendy hotels that will inspire mixed feelings: either you love it or you hate it.
Nice modern decor, with a lovely terrace. To access the rooms, one must catch the lift to the 8th floor, cross the reception and catch another lift up to the higher floors.
Rooms are well-appointed, cosy, clean, with a comfortable bed, decent amenities and a humidifier / air purifier.
The buffet dinner is a great option since it offers plenty of choice at a reasonable price.
Breakfast was good: fresh quality ingredients and a great variety.
Service is professional, but not willing to go the extra mile.
