My cousin was in severe car accident and he was taken there. Every time his mom or any other family members called to get information on his status it s either we re told to call back in an hour or a staff would answered the phone and then hang up without saying anything. That s super unprofessional and it s nerve racking for family members. I understand hospital procedures have changed due to covid, but it is unacceptable that there s no staff available to provide information to family members in order to help ease their worries. To make matter worse, I called after complaining to the operator, a staff from operator and finally someone from the ER answered the phone and placed me on hold for 15 minutes. No one ever returned to the line. If I m ever down in Miami, I d not step a foot into that hospital.
